Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
It was chaotic, to say the least. In the thick sand-screen, it was hard to distinguish friend and foe. Zorlo ducked to the side of a building and moved quickly... as he could. A gunner stepped in front of him only to get a firm punch in the face. The vanguard were still outnumbered, but after Luca's insane show of force, the archeologist knew that, at least, the prize these bandits were all after would be safe.
A hint of movement on a nearby roof caused Zorlo to raise his rifle and fire.
Zachary's medium shined brightly as he looked at the battle. "Accelerator," he said as a green glow engulfed his body. It was close, but he narrowly dodged as a large bullet tore a hole in the roof he was standing on. The white-haired boy landed on the battlefield and shifted slightly, figuring out just who shot the bullet at him. Still, it wasn't long before he was distracted by a child on the battlefield with what looked to be a large weapon. The bandit sighed as he quickly moved behind her and looked at her.
"What the hell is a kid doing on the battlefield? Go find cover, this is no place for you to be. You could get hurt, or worse, killed!" Zachary scorned her as he looked down at her. In a quick movement, he dodged a few stray bullets and fired unhesitatingly back into the battlefield, shooting at whoever was shooting at him. "Quick! Run!" he told the small girl, shifting as he prepared for battle again.

Laz ran from roof to roof, his main priority was to get to the carriage, not murdering people. And for that purpose he had Joker on inches away from his hand at any moment, wielding the other three simultaneously. “This isn’t good, no not at all. I’ll never catch it at this rate.” He pointed the cross bow at the carriage’s wheel and pulled the trigger. An explosion of air and an accompanying shockwave fired towards the carriage wheel and crushed it, knocking carriage’s rear to the ground, the recoil was incredible, but Laz had expected as much, and fired once more, now knowing his recoil, and where he would land was a safe spot.

Ashley simply ignored the warning and went to cover, as she hid behind cover she decided to equip spreadshot rounds in her bayonet to take out a group of bandits right in front of her, she then proceeded to stab some of them who survived the shot.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Luca appeared on top the broken carriage and crossed his arms. Shifting, he slashes his sword and canceled out the arrow. Shifting slightly, he slowly sheathed Siren's Edge as he drew XF Shark and pointed it at the banding attacking. "Don't even try it," LUca said with an evil laugh.
Zachary held out his gun and helped Ashley to fight off the oncoming bandits. "Okay, if you won't listen to reason, I'm going to help you," the man said. The little girl reminded him of the orphans that he was helping to feed. He wondered if SHE was a war orphan.
Zorlo fired his bullets into the lines of bandits and blew away a good amount of sand with ease as he fired off three of his bullets. He had two bullets left, but for now, he waited. Anything that got to the carriage would be cut down with ease.

"Then you should not have let recruitments occur." He said mostly to himself when Luca had gone off. He followed a few moments later, and rode towards the survivors.
Reynardine had led the horse with his knees so he could fire his rifle from horseback, and unlike the bandit's horses his wasn't the least bit shaken by the gunfire. Luca's display had been impressive but there were still plenty of bandits and now they had scattered. And fortunately for Renard, they I guess even they have basic survival instinct. But they have no discipline.
In contrast to his own shots, their return fire missed quite spectacularly, until Renard was within 20'. He got hit in the arm and seemed to fall out of his saddle, instead he was still riding just a little closer to the ground and with only one foot in the stirrup. I've gone out too far, I need to get back to the saloon. Once he was behind the main force he swung himself back up and started shooting the bandits in the back, he switched to his revolvers as he got back into town. He jumped backwards from his horse, firing both guns all the way to the ground, and crashed through the saloon's already damaged window. "It's Renard!" he shouted and scrambled for cover behind a knocked over table. "If you ever have the option of jumping through a window backwards or to just keep riding, pick the second one." Close pulled a chunk of broken glass out of his leg and reloaded his revolvers.

Laz smiled and reloaded Joker with Queen of Hearts. He knew that the man protecting the carriage was powerful, but at the same time, he could not help but be curious, the more they tried to protect it, the more he wanted the prize inside. “Hey buddy! Just give it up! Ace!” He pulled out Ace of Spades and fired all six shots before re-holstering his gun and equipping his 2 of Clubs. He charged at the carriage, ready to claim its prize.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Zorlo stepped backwards into the Saloon as he looked around. He noticed that a young man with white-hair was now among them. "Hmm? Another last second recruit?" Zorlo mused.
"I'm here to make sure this little girl and her big gun don't get themselves killed."
Zorlo nodded. "Good to hear, and nice to meet you," the green haired man said as he looked at Reynard. "It seems we're a fair bit more outnumbered than I imagined, but we're still fine," Zorlo said as he opened the chamber of his gun and removed the massive cartridges left in the chamber. Reaching into his jacket, he quickly began to replace the large bullets quietly as he shifted his glance towards the bandits moving towards the door.
Zachary tossed the clip from Airgetlam away and placed a new one in as he smiled. "Let's get ready to RUMBLE!" Zachary stated as he spun around and pointed his gun at the door. Another powerful wave blew a few of the bandits back as the building next door was sliced in half, apparently. "Who the HELL is doing that?!" Zachary asked, somewhat shaken.
"Luca..." ZOrlo said, looking somewhat dismayed at this turn of events. "If we aren't careful, the next thing he cuts may be us."
Luca watched as the bullets neared and leaned forwards. Grabbing the hilt of Siren's Edge, a flourish of Steel sent four waves slicing along the ground in front of Luca. The powerful waves from the swords blew the six bullets away and cut the four buildings on the sides of the church and Saloon awkwardly in half. Luca landed and brushed a piece of his hair with XF Shark as he sheathed Siren's Edge. "NO one is getting this treasure," the drifter said as he slammed his foot against the metallic carriage. "My speed pulse can easily deflect bullets. Try something like that again and I'll show you my REAL power," the man, smirking.
Zorlo fired off a few shots into the crowd of bandits as those that were still standing stumble towards the saloon. "That man has absolutely no sense of honor or comradery... he'll kill everyone just to win a single fight... we should consider abandoning this location... for the sake of our survival. I don't think he's kidding about his next attack. So then... where's that other girl?" Zorlo asked as he turned back to make sure Zachary and Ashley were still among them as well.

in the meanwhile Ashley was picking ammo off the dead bandits corpses, its not like they'll be using them anyway, after picking them clean went to find cover once more.
"concentrate" Ashley W. told her, she got her name from the man who took care of her and now she was training to be just like him, she held the bayonet tightly in her hand then fired, the shot hit the buck right on the spot, "atta girl" Ashley W. told her.
"so this is where Makarov came from" she said as she studied the gun, the words PM Makarov were written on the side and it was nothing like the revolvers you see on Filgaia, it had a cartridge made for bullets of the same caliber as a revolver but judging by its appearance probably shoots faster, "found that on you when we first found you, I dont know what a little girl is doing with a gun but it sure is strange though" replied Ashley W. as Ashley M. studied the gun.

Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Luca's attack finished Aria's next fight before it even started, the waves leaving little more then several messy blood splatters where they were standing. "Jeez... At this rate, I'm gonna be missing more then just an eye if I don't do something about about that idiot," Aria said as she walked behind Zachery and Zorlo to look toward the carriage. "Tch! That bastard is using us for fodder. He'll level the town and us with it if we don't leave or stop him," she finished angrily.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Close took note of Zachary, he was with the bandits, wasn't he? Maybe he switched when he noticed Luca, bloody turncoat. Whatever I have other problems to worry about. "I don't disagree with you on any particular point. We should all probably get out of here, I've seen his sort before and it never ends well for anyone but him, nevertheless I'm going to finish my job." He scooted over to the corner near the window and peered out at the downed carriage as he talked to himself, "How to get the package to the dock? I wish I knew what it was, that would definitely help. That's a lot of open ground too, screw it." He looked at the others, "I'm going to make a break for the carriage. That should draw the bandits' attention long enough for you folks to get gone."

((Don’t know what to do >.>))
Laz grinned accepting the man’s challenge, “WILD Card!” He pulled out his bat and jumped for Luca, swinging his bat, he expected to be flung back, but he had a plan for that too. ‘Let’s see what he’s got in store!’

Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Luca lowered his XF Shark and sighed. "Okay, you're a moron," the drifter said as he appeared behind Laz and kicked him in the side and knocked him towards the Saloon. "I'm tired of this... I'm dealing with this," the swordsman said as he shifted and quickdrew his sword, sheathing it slightly faster this time. The carriage was sliced in half diagonally as part of it slid and hit the ground. Luca leapt into the carriage and picked up what seemed to be a red, face-shaped object. The man with the red coat leapt clean over the entrance and slashed quickly before sheathing his swords. The archway that led into the dock collapsed and made tracking Luca very difficult.
Zorlo looked at the group as he shifted and moved outside. "That bastard got away... and left us with the tab," the archeologist stated as he turned back to look at the small army of bandits left. "And there are still a bunch of bandits... little bastards..."
Zachary rested his hand on Ashley's head as he moved outside. "You really should leave this to the grown-ups. You wouldn't want to get hurt, right?" Zachary asked her with a kind smile as he snapped the fingers on his right hand and began to glow green again. It was game time with the rest of these bandits.

Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Even as Zachary snapped, Twin beams of searing light shot through the growing crowd of bandits, killing many and momentarily scattering the rest. It had come from Aria, living up to her name, 'the Dual Cannon'. "You'll have to excuse me. I'm just a little- Absolutely Livid..." she said as she walked forward to to begin taking out her aggressions on said bandits before her, giving no mercy even to the surrendered and fleeing that stood before her.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Renard took advantage of the chaos Aria was causing he walked over to the bar. "Children like you and she don't listen to adults." He picked up the glass he had poured earlier, "And I so wish I could forget." He drank the scotch. "Let's go make sure nobody decides to be brave and manages to get a lucky shot off on our little culverin." He whistled as he strode to the door and pulled himself up onto his horse as it gallped by. He rode up behind Aria and used his rifle to pick off anybody that managed to avoid getting obliterated by her.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Zorlo nodded as he stepped out. "You're quite right, sir," the man said as he fired a shot into the crowd, causing several people to scatter slightly. "Still," the man said as he adjusted his glasses and readied the next shot, "I must admit this is a turn of events I hadn't wholly planned for. What a pain," the archeologist said with a laugh.
Zachary watched quietly from the side-lines as the battle continued. It was... to say the least, interesting to watch as the three warriors simply destroyed the remnants. Still, there was one man left that required dealing with. Zachary zipped over to where Laz was and looked at him. "If you're still alive, I'd suggest not moving much. That guy did a real number on you, and that **** with one eye will take you out if she sees you. Still, you had guts to attack that guy... after seeing he could lay waste to huge areas and what not."
Luca entered into the ironclad and walked slightly deeper, looking at the mask. "So, where's my paycheck?!" the man asked heartily as he tossed the mask-looking object up and down.
"Paycheck? Good sir, don't you realize that you've been a pawn in this whole affair, as much as any other?" a voice asked from the darkness.
"Oh really?" Luca asked as he reached for his sword.
"My dear, please deal with that man," the voice stated as a figure stepped into the single light of the ship. "But don't kill him. His ilk are always useful," the man clad entirely in white stated, smiling slightly.

Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Aria continued mercilessly as the three cleaned up most of the remnants before they got too far, give going as far as to blow holes through walls to kill them off as she cleared the area before looking toward Zachary. She wiped a splattering of blood from her face as she started walking over, but suddenly stopped and walked back to Zorlo and Renard. "You two fight pretty well. My Thanks," she said in passing as she walked back to the remnants of the bar for a drink of whatever survived.

Meanwhile, a figure walked out from behind Shinu, hardly intimidating in any form, a slip of a little girl with a partly bandaged face. The thought of something like her 'dealing with' Luca would have laughable had the loose bandages slipped to show her eye underneath. "Okay, big brother," she said to him emotionlessly before looking at Luca, holding her stuffed animal to her chest. "You'll play with me and my sister, won't you? All the rest of our toys broke and stopped moving... We promise not to break you too..." she finished just as unemotionally as a huge, person-sized, metal 'Doll' appeared in front of the small girl, the eyes flashing an evil midnight-red as if started moving toward him.

"Of the Devil ARMs I've cultivated, this one is the most promising," Shinu said as he smiled at the small girl. "Yes, please don't break him. Your big brother has a lot of uses for him yet," the being said as it stepped forwards.
Luca shifted backwards as he looked at the girl and the puppet. "What the hell is going on? Who the hell are you people?! What the-" he paused as the puppet pinned him to the wall, holding onto him by the neck.
"Very well done, Tomoka and Puppe." Shinu rested his hand on the doll's back as it looked at him. "Oh, yes my dear, that seems to be quite a good idea," he said. "Puppe thinks you should fulfill your obligation to us. You see, I hired you for this job, knowing you would screw over all of your comrades and try to escape brilliantly on this boat. Now that I've been proven right, I shall offer you a job."
Luca squeezed enough room to breath as he looked at Shinu. "What do you want?"
"I just need you to take a small trip for me. After this ship arrives, you need to head for some ruins of particular interest. There, you will find a Devil ARM of your own," the man said as he smiled. "Once you've retrieved it, we will find you," Shinu said as he rested his hand on Puppe's arm. "You can release him now, my dear."
Zorlo nodded. "I understand now why your name is "Twin Cannon," he stated, smiling. "Still-" he paused as he noticed she had gone off to the bar. "Well... we have quite a conundrum. THe thing we were protecting has escaped... what do you think we should do now?" he asked Reynard, listening to see what the man thought on the matter.

"I'm going to go see if the package made it to the ship or if I'm about to go chasing after a man who can kill me with a flick of his wrist. If you're still around, I'll meet you back at the bar in half an hour or so for a celebratory drink." He turned his horse in the direction of the dock. "I'd suggest you claim any free drinks you feel you deserve by then, the civilians should be getting curious as to why they haven't heard any gunfire in a while around that time. Be careful, a bandit or two may still be lurking about." He set off at a fast trot for the dock.

Ashley just appeared out of nowhere and then asked zorlo, "so whats going on?" she asked.
Re: Wild ARMs: Rise of the Devil ARMs
Zorlo patted Ashley on the head. "Well, that guy, Luca, betrayed us and stole the relic. Now we're heading towards the saloon to decide our next move.
