A few minutes passed before Fionn followed Alex out. Alex waited.

"Lord Hector see's you as quite the investment young Alex. It would appear..." Fionn smiled, "that I've been assigned as your personal body guard."

Alex:What?! no go back and change it, if i have a personal guard i wont be able to fight in the war

Max:Wait, well i've been studying sorcery secretly of course but... im a mage right now, and you alex your a dragon slayer, and fionn he is a king who probably knows his way around a sword, instead of you being guarded why don't you all just be friends? then we can make our regiment flow a little more smoothly

[alex wandering around the kingdom again entered the kings garden, hew walked through this huge maze thousands of lefts and rights until coming to the castle wall]

Max: dead end...want me to fly us out?

Alex: no no look [pulled his huge blade off his back and swung it once crashing it through the wall and there in from of him stood this huge blue door a huge gust began sucking alex into the doorway]

Alex: No no no no not me! [he reached out for max but fionn was in the way and they were sucked in but instead of flying straight like the door was they fell straight down like off a cliff right into the world of Radiata fionn and alex landed next to a patch of burning flowers and spotted elephants with shoes on]

Skadi picked up a familiar scent, she wasn't sure how far away it was, but she was certain as to what it was. It smelled of home, which meant somebody was either going in, or something was coming out of Radiata, either way might be interesting and it wouldn't open for anything that wasn't strong, right? She took a moment to align herself with the direction of the scent and began galloping on all fours, and beating her wings to accelerate herself faster.

((So, out of curiosity where are Barnabas and Hope popping in? I don't intend for Skadi to suddenly make it to the castle for at least a few more posts so, she and Barnabas could have a uh oh let's call it an interesting first meeting given their natures. Especially since Barnabas would love nothing more than to see Skadi dead, given his opinion of her species, and she would consider it an absolutely fabulous chance to duel somebody strong.))

He walked up and down the shores. Looking out at the sun set. He had just made to a docking area to tie up his ship and set off to kill some demons.

Skadi lost the scent shortly after noticing it, but she kept galloping for a ways, hoping she was staying on course, until she came to a shoreline. She crouched down and picked up a shell, holding it to her ear she spoke. "Oh shell, would you please tell me the way to that portal. Or to the castle, I'm not that picky." She listened to the sound of waves in the shell for about a minute before the crab inside decided to pinch her ear. "Ow, that's annoying." She tossed the shell into the water and sighed, rubbing her ear she looked off to the side and spied a ship coming into dock. The sun was about to set and she still had no idea where the castle was when she got an idea. Of COURSE! I'll just ask someone. I'll bet whoever is landing that vessel over there will know, and maybe they can take me to it, or at least point me in the right direction.

Skadi hopped into the water and began swimming towards the ship, trusting that the azure shade of her scales would meld with the blue of the sea and keep them from noticing her until she was close enough and it was dark enough. She popped her head out of the water in the fading light as she got close to Barnabas, people generally reacted badly when they saw her appearance so she thought that maybe the failing light and the motion of the waves would keep this person from realizing what she looked like. "Hail, sailor, might you happen to know how to get to the castle? I have some business there and I fear I may have lost my bearings." She saw the swords on the man and wanted soooo badly to ask if he would have a duel with her, but first she needed to figure out how to get to the castle.

"A castle you say?" He replied softly. "I know not of a castle..."
He look her over a couple of times.
"Your a peculiar looking person..."
One of the people from the crew had yelled something at him before he could say anymore. He quickly turned and headed of in the direction of the sailor calling him.

She had to literally bite her tongue to keep from remarking on how peculiar he looked and even then it was only because of the crewman's calling him that she stopped herself. She sunk into the water and breathed out slowly, causing bubbles. So he doesn't know either, grrr, why is it so hard to find a castle? You'd think that would be something most people know about. They're so big after all, and there's so many strong people there. Now that she was actually studying him there was indeed something off about his appearance, but she couldn't place what it was. He carries himself with an unusual grace, but that's likely just due to being at sea so much. Maybe it's just the heavyish nature of his clothes, although I suppose it might get kind of cold out at sea. Especially if he's the one stationed in that eagle's nest, no not eagle...crow? or was it sparrow? No matter, it has a bird's name in it and it's likely windy up there.

She floated out slowly, examining the ship while keeping low in the water. It had some damage from the looks of it, from a battle she hoped, but it was in otherwise excellent condition. She swam up to the bow of the vessel and climbed nimbly up to the figurehead and put her forehead up to it's, unthinkingly lifting herself completely out of the water. The ship had so many properties of a beloved blade, it cut through the ocean as a sword would flesh, the threads of the sails were as the tendons and muscles of a leg propelling it at great speeds, and most importantly that bond of trust between the crew and she as one takes care of the other. She wondered for a moment at the prospect of being a sailor rather than a swordsman. Though I'd much rather be a pirate than a merchant, taking the fight to others rather than being as a hen before the farmer.

She then looked down, Hm the ocean sure looks nice at night. Wait, why is it down there and I'm up here? Her eyes widened as realization hit her. She peeked over the top of the figurehead to see if the sailors had noticed her or if work and the veil of night were keeping her safe from view, ready to leap up there, draw her blade, and engage them if they looked to be readying weapons, and if they weren't she would drop back down into the water and look for a place to sleep for the night.

What an interesting person...Couldn't see them very well down in the water.

"Do you know anything about a castle?" He asked the sailor.
"No sir but we are at the deck now and can get of any moment."
"I see..."
