I don't know if that is true. I've read the information in this book:

I get the feeling you probably misinterpreted the information in that book.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Its can be crazy on how there is so many branches the three major religions. In Christianity there Catholic, and Protestant. Protestant has so many branches lol. With my knowledge as a 16 year old this is how I see this. There is always some corruption in any branch of Christianity. Someone makes up a branch of the religion, because they don't like a rule, or something. Its the same thing with Islamic religions. There either a problem with a persons view so they start a branch of the religion, or a family issue. I also think of this. The old testament is the Torah. If you add the new testament its becomes a Christian bible. If you add the teachings of Mohammad its becomes the Qur'an. Without Judaism you can't have Christian, or Islam. As a Christian followers I wish that all of the branches become one. It would also help if books where not taken out of the bible, and that no one would make up a branch just to change a rule they don't like. If you really want to follow God its best that you not complain about anything in the book. If he says having more than one wife, or husband is against the rules, don't start a religion going against that rule. That how I see it.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
The problem with this is that a lot of rules in the Bible go against modern law. The Bible allows you to have multiple wives and concubines, and also says you're morally obligated to either stone your daughter to death, or sell her into slavery, if she talks back. There's also passages about how one must stone those who work on the Sabbath Day, and crap about women not being allowed to cut their hair, men not allowed to have long hair (both of which punishable by death), passages about stoning a man who has sex with a woman while on her period, stoning someone who wears clothes made of mixed fibers (like your T-shirt and jeans), burning the property of a farmer who grows more than one type of crop on a single plot of land, hanging people who marry outside of their race or without the permission of their parents, not being allowed to eat shellfish, and having to be put to death if you let any of your seed (read: sperm) fall to the ground instead of inside a vagina. As a Christian followers I wish that all of the branches become one. It would also help if books where not taken out of the bible, and that no one would make up a branch just to change a rule they don't like. If you want to follow every rule in the Bible, you pretty much have to leave the country you live in and start your own.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Actually almost half of those can be found in the New Testament. Not like it matters, as contrary to popular belief, the coming of Jesus doesn't negate anything in the Old Testament. Jesus said himself, "I am not here to abolish the old laws." So Christians? Yea, you still have to do everything the Jews do. Stop with the non-kosher foods, sinners.

So I guess you're ignorant of the Bible and other countries...Keyaki wrote:Sheesh, sounds like Iraq

heh heh, yeah you got me. The Bible always bored me to death and I really dun give a crap about what happens in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan, pretty much the same thing.........war, poverty, death, disease, etc, etc... all **** to me now.......but if you wanna correct me feel free.
Lol, you except a 16 year old dumb-ass like me to pay attention to stuff like that?
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Stuff about religion, and science makes you wonder. Somethings will never get old such as Jews, and Christians fighting over Jerusalem against the Muslims. Its also scary, on how the Mayans chandler is very accurate. I feel the Earth has its ways of cleaning itself. We do screw it up with many technology we use today. Still can we stop something like tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and etc. As humans we can only do so much. Life is full of so many questions. If only we humans could use even more of our true potential

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Alright, so first off, the Jews and Muslims aren't fighting over Jerusalem. Palestine has been fighting to take land from Israel to turn into the country of Palestine. Jerusalem is a holy city for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike, and all are welcomed to it no matter what religion. Humans also cannot stop natural disasters. We have precautions and procedures in the event of these disasters, however it is impossible to stop them.

It's not a matter of being good. It's entirely about wanting to be informed rather than ignorant so that you'll be taken seriously by other people who aren't complete wastes of oxygen.Keyaki wrote:Heh, sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a good little boy like you ^^S1lentOp wrote:Yes, I do.Keyaki wrote:Lol, you except a 16 year old dumb-ass like me to pay attention to stuff like that?

You know, for someone who brags about being a super smart hacker and wanting to know everything and wanting me to be their Sensei, there's no damn excuse for not wanting to know everything you can for the world you live in.Keyaki wrote:Heh, sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a good little boy like you ^^S1lentOp wrote:Yes, I do.Keyaki wrote:Lol, you except a 16 year old dumb-ass like me to pay attention to stuff like that?

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Forgive the intrusion and i have nothing relevant to say in this, at least nothing that would make me look any smarter than...uh, anyone actually smart, but wasn't ZelkovatheWise the one who went around saying all the crap about being a computer expert and hacker and yet at the same was talking to you with even a higher adoration than mine? I don't remember Keyaki having to do with any of it...if anything, the only similar thing between them both was their avatar. I think ZtW was a girl too...and had random tantrums on debates. You know, for someone who brags about being a super smart hacker and wanting to know everything and wanting me to be their Sensei, there's no damn excuse for not wanting to know everything you can for the world you live in.

Yeah, sorry about that. However, the land wasn't actually there's to begin with, right? Wasn't it a British-owned land until it became Israel?S1lentOp wrote:Fixed.Azure Knight wrote:Palestinians has been fighting to take land back from Israel to turn into the country of Palestine.

So you're telling me you don't want to pay attention to a country that has WMD's and terrorist?Keyaki wrote: Lol, you except a 16 year old dumb-ass like me to pay attention to stuff like that?
I guess maybe because I joined the military I have to pay attention to that stuff.
Anyways my gf is majoring in world religion so I know a little about the topic. I personally go with science though.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
The hilarity of that statement being that Iraq never had WMD's. But go ahead and buy into the bullsh*t.So you're telling me you don't want to pay attention to a country that has WMD's and terrorist?
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Lol USA have no business at all being in war with Iraq. The only reason is oil. Lol don't North Korea have the WMD's? Oh gosh here we go again with 9/11 thing. I'm petty sure the US government knew that this was going to happen in advanced. I'm not agreeing with everything Obama is doing, but he is doing better than Bush. I hope the war can stop. I hope that there can will be no more people brainwash into suicide bombing. Its so pointless in suicide bombing in the name of God, and your country. Right now we got to the point were we can use science to make bombs that can f*** the world. As human's we really f*** up. If what happens in the book of Revelation happens soon I won't be that surprise.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
what the hell are you talking about? I never said i worked in network security, nor did I ever brag about being a hacker and i NEVER said I wanted you to be your Sensei,I'd rather have my balls cut off than want you be my sensei of ANYTHING, sure you dun mean Zelkovathewise?AuraTwilight wrote:You know, for someone who brags about being a super smart hacker and wanting to know everything and wanting me to be their Sensei, there's no damn excuse for not wanting to know everything you can for the world you live in.Keyaki wrote:Heh, sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a good little boy like you ^^Keyaki wrote: Yes, I do.
