We won't know that for certain until Square-Enix and Buena Vista games (assuming that they're working together for 3, like they did for 2) finally decide to tell us if and when it will be. 'Till then, I'll assume the worst, and think it's never going to happen. And to me, if it does come out on the ps3, it will be like it never happened, because I'll NEVER get a ps3... too damn expensive. I won't buy one 'till it gets around 300-350 dollars for the GOOD version. Nope, I'm gonna get a Wii and an Xbox 360. The Wii for Brawl/LoZ:TP/Rayman Raving Rabbids 1&2, the 360 for Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie and Halo 3.

So far, there WAS only one good game I wanted to play Ps3 for, till Square said "Nope... not happening..." And that was the remake of FF7. They teased and taunted with that Tech Demo, only to shoot down the prayers of anyone whom wanted it. Other than that, nothing the ps3 has has interested me enough to make me want to buy it. "HD GRAPHICS!!!" nope... I don't OWN an HD tv, so there'd be no point in that. "Wireless Controller!" nope... got one for the ps2. "Free online for games that have it!" the Wii has that too... so does the DS and the ps2... hell everything console wise since the Dreamcast (besides the GBA/SP and the 'Cube) has had SOME sort of free online service. "It's a blue ray disk player!" uh... yeah... that would be good, if I FELT like buying blue-ray disks. DVD's are fine with me. "Backwards compatibility all the way back to the PSX through emulation!" Uh... the ps2 had that... the Wii has that all the way back console wise to the original NES through 'emulation'.

Nope... if KH3 comes out for the PS3, I'll just wait for the spoiler happy walkthroughs to come out, and read them for the storyline, End of story.

Seems like the PS3 is hated around here.

Personally, I'm hoping that it is indeed on the ps3[As I have a job, and relatively free life-expenses, leaves me free to save some money for a HDTV and a PS3]. I think that the PS3 remote, while basically a rip off of what Nintendo did, will add new things to the series that you wouldn't be able to do with the 360[Read: it's never going to be on a Microsoft console, ever].


On the PS3 real quick:
1) Consider who's making the PS3, I don't think Sony is really hurting from the loss(Which isn't really a loss, just that its being outsold by other consoles), They're one of, if not the biggest entertainment manufacturers on the planet.
2) Blu-ray is being backed by Sony, along with several other huge corporations(Universal, Disney, WB, Lions Gate, LG, just to name a few). In my opinion I don't think it would be very hard for Sony(or other said companies) to push for Blu-Ray to be #1.

I as well hope its for the ps3 and with the same reason for Dagurasu. (I have a job and i practically live for free since I'm young so I just keep building up money. luckily greed hasn't attacked me so I don't really care if i lose it or not for a ps3.) Plus the last 2 were on a ps2 consul so I've gotten use to it being on a PS system.

yes, but even then, it could still be on the ps2, since that's where the series started. However, I know most people probably won't agree with me, and want to let these black rectangles die in misery with the other relics of the last generation, and only pay attention to the current, 'next gen' series systems.

Hell, if they wanted too, IF they decided to make it for the ps2, they could make it something fancy, ya know? For instance, make it the last ps2 game made, and let the system go out with a bang, instead of a pop. And for the 'ps3 fanboys' out there, make a version of it for the ps3 with extra bosses that reveal more about the history of the KH series and answer any questions left behind at the end of BBS, 358/2 days, KH2, etc. That's just what I hope happens... but who knows? Maybe the ps2 will become one of those systems that 'never dies', kinda like the GBA seems to be... they're STILL making games for it lol.

Only time will tell...

Need I remind you guys that most of the games coming out now have a PS2 version as well as a PS3.

I've never been a big fan of the Playstation consols, especially when I found out the origin of the PS1(which is the basis for the PS2 and PS3). For those that don't know Nintendo partnered with Sony to create a new consol that used both cartrige and CD based games. It was basically an upgraded Super Nintendo. It was even called the Super Nindendo CD and used to same control pad as the SNES. But it didn't do well in japan and never made it overseas, probably because the games for the CD side of it were also made as cartrig games so no one wanted to a new consol when the same games were being made for the original SNES. So then Nintendo dropped it and focused on the N64. But sony decided to give it another try, reworking it so it didn't use cartrig games and was strickly for CD games. They even slightly remodeled the control pad with those little joy sticks and the handles and released it as the PS1. But the core technology was still the Super Nintendo CD. So basically Sony ripped off Nintendo.

AKA, Profit for Sony. Make a good game, leave a really big cliffhanger mystery release it out for a $500 console, and how many KH and KH2 games were sold.? one next KH game equals like $600 for sony. Basiclly, it ALL ONE BIG RIPOFF!

Me and my friends have done a lot of research on this topic and found several things.
1.) Ansem is not dead(no duh)
2.) The main charatures consist of 2 males and 1 female.
3.) You won't be playing Sora for a while.
4.) Its suppose to come out 2010

2&3- we already knew that, As well we already know the names of the 2 boys and girl. As well the knights are in the past 10 years before Sora's adventure so of coarse Sora wouldn't be playing much of a role as playable character.
1- though we don't know what the game will hold, though they gave a damn loop hole to everyone's death with the "If you remember them." thing (There really should be rules to this, and most likely is.)
4- though probably around that time it can't be said since the 3 games will be released at diffrent times.

Anyways, i read in other forum that the voice Sora heard about 'you're the one who will open the door' in the awakening and near the end of KH1 is Terra's and i heard that he is the one who 'accidentally' gives Sora the Keyblade. Is that true???

No Terra didn't tell him in the first game. Nomura had no idea there was going to be a kh2 or any other sequels when he first made Kingdom Hearts. For Terra accidentally giving Sora the keyblade that I could believe.
