Lol that'd be cute, unfortunately I don't give away free sketches and full works currently, I do take comissions though Via DA subcriptions since i don't have a paypal or a PO box yet.

...................... in a way i find that alittle bit of a jip... i mean i draw manga and lots o other stuff to man, if i had a comp id help out peopls like that, i mean cmon they wouldnt ask if they didnt think u were good, asking for money from ur work, seams kinda like u cheapen ur work that way. id rather have a little money and many luving my work then a few who payed for it.

It's how it goes unfortunately. People can make money off their artwork, as an artist it doesn't take priority over other things, so by doing things for free for people I've never met before and having that take precedence is a bit out of line. Commissions are what all artists do to make money with their artwork it doesn't lessen their value, and to be honest it is offensive to me, though I know you're not trying to be.

Forum graphics and stuff like that, I do for free. Drawing things and coloring artwork for others to have for free, id have to know them really well, or they'd have to buy a commission. Art takes lots of time to do, if you just do it for free, everyone will want it, and you won't have enough time to keep your life intact and do all the requests.

Most people ask for artists to draw them stuff because they don't wanna pay for artwork. they want good artists to give em stuff for free, but as good artists, they draw for everyone to enjoy the artwork. Those are the things that people want to enjoy from good artists. then someone comes along and wants something specific to be drawn by that artist, there's a price. If I'm gunna draw something for just you to enjoy, i should charge you for it. It's not my idea, not my expression, It's yours and you'd be acquiring my services in order to do it.

Thats how the artist world works sadly.

no i fully understand that, im just sayin u know, it saddens me, ive been drawing mangatype and anime style since i first watched dragonball while switching through tthe channels and i saw it on telemundo wen i was 8..
since then ive ben addicted to doing this and if i had my comp i wouldnt do it for any one eiether. but. if they have talked to u and u share something in common(like a hack fanage that makes them join this type of bbs) a little help out here and there would be a welcome add. not everytime but, well u know wat i mean. if its a quik fix give it a try ift will snag u refuse, thats just my view. unless u are a proff out on ur own in the world and u need rent money...... spread the luv.. k?

yet again no intent on offens. i just luv good art.

.... question.. do people ask you for artwork all the time, and artwork every day, free sketches and what not. you're not really seeing it from my eyes. I'm still in high school but I don't have the time to freely draw stuff for others. I'd love to do it, honestly I would, but I have no time in my schedule to draw something for someone else. If it were summer, or If I had tons of free time, that'd be a different story.
