Here's an AMV that I made back in my college days as an extra credit project in my photoshop class. The original project was to make a 30 second clip that used the pics we'd made during the quarter. But I wanted to use some clips I had been downloading to make an AMV. So after I made the assigned project I got permission to make my AMV using the schools computer and software.

This was before FFX-2 was released in the US so it has mostly clips from the trailers and what few clips from the Japanese version I could find. It also has clips from FFX. I also wanted to be more original with the song I used. It took me a while to find a good song that no one else had used yet as far as I could tell. So I picked Paulina Rubio's Don't Say Goodbye. I also spent a lot of time trying to sync up the lips to the music. Hope you guys like it.

It was me and AC's Idea for the trailer. Which is why I put, THIS VIDEO IS NOT RELATED TO THE SERIES, at the bottom of the screen. It was for laughs. And if you caught the last line that the announcer says in the trailer, you would know it was a joke. because we want everybody to anticipate this show. We didn't want to show any footage from it. i want the first episode to be a surprise. We mainly did it for effect. I made the video though, and came up with the idea for the Abridged series.

Though I got 1 question that has nothing to do with that clip. I noticed you used Apocalyptica - The Path Vol. 2 feat. Sandra Nasic. Back when I frist found out about G.U. I downloaded a trailer where someone replaced the original sounds with that stong. Was that your work?

If you are referring to the music video in the background........no. It was some random video I downloaded. I really didn't have the time to make a new AMV for the Background. I was gonna use one of my AMV's, but none of the songs I had used matched the narration at all. There is another trailer coming.

But yeah, if it was the AMV you are talking about..........no, that wasn't my work.

Thanks. What I had downloaded was one of the original trailers for the game, but someone got rid of the original audio and replaced it with that song. There was acutally no video editing beyond that, just switching the audio for that song. In fact the song didn't go all through the whole trailer and like the last 45 seconds was silence.

In fact that was the first trailer I downloaded and I actually thought that song would be in the game. That is tell I downloaded the same trailer with the original audio and actually heard what was really going to be in the game.
