Joshua: ( he slides behind the cover) Oh yeah I forgot you got engaged Jiles how is she doing? ( he pats himself off) that was a little too close why is there a trap set up this close to the subway?! the only reason we got here was cause don blew a hole through the wall first there's that strange hooded guy and now there'a traps?...never mind I'm just over thinking it I guess ( he walks with the two) so just straight ahead come on let's hurry then Jiles how's the other team doing? Do they need back up? ( he looked at Jiles and he seemed alittle concerned for his fellow teammates but somethig else seemed to of been bothering him)

After Cato had fired his ball lightning spell he sensed Akima's pain. He turned to focus on Akima as she fired rounds at Azeroth. It gave him an opportunity to cast another healing spell, this time for Akima. He went through all the motions again, this time quicker than the last now that he had done this sort of thing once already. The spell had healed Akima's injured rib.

Akima sighed in relief as the pain in her side subsided. Holding up the gun wasn't so much a chore now. She kept firing rounds at Azeroth. Some were dodged, some merely clipped him. Maybe on or two had hit their mark on his leg or torso but it was hard for her to tell if they'd pierced his skin.

Now that the party was in good condition it was time for some planning. Akima's bullets only grazed Azeroth, it wasn't enough to incapacitate him. But he wasn't so sure how to communicate that to her. But he thought maybe he would do it by giving her and Don gestures in secret to indicate his plan. Checking for any psychic interference from Azeroth, Cato motioned his plan to the other team members. He motioned with his tentacles that he would fire another round of ball lightning at Azeroth. When he did that, Azeroth would naturally dodge the shot. Then it would be up to Akima and Don to shoot at him (he made sure to communicate to avoid hitting any vital organs on whatever... It... Was.), aiming for the path in which he would be forced to dodge.

All of this happened behind his back,out of the sight of Azeroth.

"If you have any objections let me know. Otherwise we'll put the plan into motion."

Akima sent a subtle nod to Cato, letting him know she understood and was ready.

Cato set the plan into motion. He casted another ball lightning spell straight at Azeroth.

Akima watched Azeroth dodge the spell as planned and sent a bullet straight at the demon. Her earlier shots must have formed a chink in the armor, because this shot went straight through his chest and out the other end. Chances were she had punctured a lung; this was their chance.

"Capture him!" she croaked out, "Capture him so we can take him back to HQ to be interrogated!"

Easing herself onto her feet, she reached out for a nearby table to steady her. She then tossed Cato a pair of handcuffs that she pulled from one of the pouches on her belt.

"Understood!" Cato replied.

He then rushed up to Azeroth and put the handcuffs on him, restricting his movement. Cato grabbed him with his tentacles, leaving his hand free so that he could bring him in for interrogation.

"By the way, nice shot."

"Thanks," Akima replied. She then turned to inspect the other member of their party. "Don, you alright?"

Azeroth's face contorted in pain as the bullet's punctured his lungs. "Who are you people? You hit me...but how? No one has done that since...him." Azeroth said as his gaze stared off into the distance. Omega scowled as Azeroth as the young man spaced out. "Azeroth! Now isn't the time! Focus! We have to break free! We were not supposed to get captured! Azeroth! Omega thought to the young man as they stood there hand cuffed.

-------Fifteen Years Ago-----------

It was deep underground in an undisclosed location. Azeroth was standing on a solid glass floor. Next to him was a medical cart with straps and ties. Azeroth had broken free and as a result was bleeding quite profusely. The boy's arms and legs were rather roughed up and he was having trouble moving. Azeroth was struggling to stumble across the room to a row of giant tanks with other kids his age floating in some kind of blue and red fluid. The tanks had nameplates on them and they along the wall in a organized line. The tanks read different on each plate and were listed as follows. Sarah, Kalyn, Hesperia, Jenna, Aaron, Michael, Azlega, and Felix. The eyes of the children opened and stared at Azeroth. The boy's ears were filled with a loud ringing sound as he fell to his knees and started screaming. "Make it stop! Why is this happening to me?" Azeroth said as tears flowed down his face. Suddenly as the sounds grew louder a man wearing a rather odd gasmask kicked the door of the lab down and ran up behind Azeroth stabbing the boy's lower back as he pushed down the plunger on a syringe. Azeroth let out a gasp of surprise and fell limp to the floor as the man violently pulled out the syringe. From the wound on Azeroth's lower back there was a neon pink liquid which could be seen oozing out of the boy. Azeroth crashed to the floor as his eyes fluttered shut. The vial was dropped by the masked man as he threw it to the floor in disgust. The Vial had rainbow glass making up container portion. The needle looked quite durable and did not even bend an inch as it hit the ground. A pair of cracked red eyes appeared above the unconscious body of Azeroth and glared at the man as he walked off. Words were written on the door the man was closing. It read as follows. "You have defied the grand equation! Prepare for Justice!"

As these memories played through Azeroth's mind, they were somehow broadcasted out to Cato in a wave of pure energy. But for some strange reason, it was visible only to Cato. Cato saw these memories in such high definition, it looked and felt like he was there. Cato could even read the name plates and smell the sweet dusty aroma of the laboratory.

To the rest of the party it appeared as though Cato zoned out for a brief moment, but finally he came to. He looked at the people he had cuffed... It was awkward, knowing as much as he knew about Azeroth, although it was still relatively little. He could make some educated guessed. Maybe he was experimented on. Suddenly he was interested in knowing more about this person. However, he would ask him that when the interrogation went underway.

"Please come with us. If you do, no one has to get hurt, more than they already have been. We have some questions we need to ask you..."

He tried to put Azeroth and Omega at ease somewhat when he said that but he had a feeling it wasn't working too well.

He brought Azeroth to Akima and Don.

"Alright," Akima said, "Let's return to where the Locos Dragon dropped us. He should be able to open a portal back to HQ. Once there, we can call in guards to escort Azeroth to the interrogators."

She then began walking back the way the came.

"If you don't mind... Do you think I could stick around with him for a while? There's something I need to ask him... Personally. Before we apprehended him, I saw... Things. Related to him. I can make some guesses as to what it was about, but maybe this could aid us in our mission."

Hayate opened the locator again, and began moving as the others continued talking.

About a hundred yards ahead, through a few tunnels that weren't much more than a 4 foot high by the same wide, and he saw the kid... Cowering in a corner, across the tunnel.

He tapped the ear piece, sighing.

"Found the girl."

Don hissed and slowly got to his feet. After this he walked over to Azeroth and kicked the youth in his shin then proceeded to hobble over towards the door which they had came through. As he left he could be heard "I'm going to go join the group topside and find the girl. Get that Imbecile out of my sight. Little moron scraped up my coat. This coat wasn't cheap you know." After Don said this he vanished through the doorway and went to join the other group topside where the little girl was waiting for them.

In the corner hayate had been staring at sat a little girl on a bench. In her hand was giant chocolate and strawberry lollipop. She was licking the lollipop innocently and looking around the room. She stared at the watch on her arm. She was wearing a GPS device on her wrist. "Where are those agents? Mr. Zentas said to meet them here at about now and that if I did I could have some more candy." The little girl was wearing old looking blue jeans, her shirt was black with a red blooming rose on the back of it. On the front of it, the shirt was ornate and buttoned up. The girl had long purple hair and a pair of transparent crystal eyes. Sitting on the bench next to her was a little granite colored puppy. It had on a black leather collar and around it's neck was a little steel dog tag. It had the name quartz on it. The puppy looked at the little girl and barked at her hopping up and down trying to get her candy. "Quartz....your not alive but puppies still don't get candy! Besides this candy is really expensive!" The girl said as she giggled and reached down to pet the puppy. As it was petted the puppy's stone tail wagged back and forth. "Arf arf!" The puppy exclaimed as it's tail kept wagging.

"Actually could you also keep an eye on Azeroth for the time being? There's something I need to go get from the room in the back." Cato said to Akima as he eagerly looked in the direction of the room opposite the direction they were walking.

[Azalan]

Azeroth rolled his eyes at having to stay behind and started following Cato out of the room. "Is there any real reason to leave me behind? I can't move so fast right now..." Azeroth looked the boy over. Cato didn't look that threatening to him, but Azeroth couldn't quite put his finger on what was different about Cato. Azeroth was paying attention to him however, since Omega had sensed Cato's presence entering their mind a little while ago. Azeroth this boy is special, he could see me. But...the question is...how? Omega said to Azeroth. Azeroth was curious by this. Omega was alarmingly correct. How was Cato able to see their memory? Were him and Omega dealing with a mind reader of some kind? No that's not right..since when can humans read minds? Azeroth thought as he kept walking behind Cato.

Don had gotten to the top of the stairs and walked over to Hayate and the rest of the group. "Hey there! I see you found our contact. That's great! Now could I have my watch back? It was a gift from a friend, and now that our mission is all but finished may I have it back?" Don said with a chuckle as he held out his hand waiting for Hayate to return the item to him. Don looked over and saw the girl. She's quite odd. She's a bit different from most Crystallux I've met over my years of working with Division Infinity. Don thought as he tilted his head in curiosity. But He did so in such a way the girl would not directly notice him.

Cato walked to the room in the back. There were a lot of things stored in the room. Cato took a look around, careful not to break anything fragile.

"Where could it be?" Cato thought to himself. "The Locos Dragon said what I came to look for was hidden here."

He kept looking until he noticed well hidden behind a bookshelf was a familiar site. It was a sticker with the catalog number of the missing book! He finally found it. Cato made sure to take precautions just in case it was booby-trapped but found no such thing. He attempted to take the book successfully.

"This is it! Advanced Quantum Physics! Dr. Fielding must have used this to complete the Jupiter Array! He probably has no use for it now, but it would have been better if he hadn't gotten it in the first place. Normally my job would be done now, but... I've become far too involved in all this. I can't stop here, not while there's so many things to discover about... Well, everything..."

Just then, he noticed a presence behind him. It was Azeroth.

"Of all the... Well, I guess he didn't get away from us. Maybe this could even be to my advantage. There isn't much he can do with his hands locked behind his back. But why did he follow me here? In fact, who IS he?"

Cato looked behind him. Sure enough, he didn't remove the handcuffs from behind his back. Azeroth gazed at him intensely, as if trying to figure out something about him.

"Well that makes the both of us." He thought.

"I caught your name when Don shouted it earlier when we... Battled. My name is Cato. I see you're mystified by some aspect of me. Well, there's something I want to ask you since we're alone... What exactly happened in that lab? It looked like you were being used as a Guinea Pig for some cruel experiment. What happened in there?"

[Azalan]

Azeroth grimaced. "Well...I'd be more inclined to talk about it if I could get some of that healing. I have been shot after all..and it does suck. Alot." Azeroth said as he shifted the way he was standing in an attempt to deal with the pain. The wound was still fresh and blood was dripping from the bullet site. But for some reason Azeroth wasn't writhing in pain on the ground. Interesting. Though I attacked him, he does not seem to wish me further harm...but...why? Furthermore, how did he see my memories? Azeroth thought as he looked Cato dead in the eyes. Azeroth something is up, be on your guard. I can't tell his motives, but then again he could be harmless. Omega said inside the youth's mind.

"Fair enough." Cato replied. He then began to go through the motions of his healing spell, and shortly afterwards the wound was healed.

"I apologize if my colleagues were rough on you earlier. Now, shall we continue our conversation?"
