Re: School from Hell
"None. I don't even necessarily live with my parents. They live in a different town. I hadn't wanted to move, so I got an apartment here. I haven't seen em since the entrance exams. What about you? Any family?"
Re: School from Hell
"Good, no awkward meeting the parents thing. I hate those. No, I don't have any relatives. Near as I can tell, I'm a test tube baby. I had a guardian, called herself Guardian too, but she up and disappeared one day. I've been looking out for myself ever since."
Re: School from Hell
"I see..." Gray wasn't sure what else he could say. "Well. Step one down! Now we're gettin started!"
Re: School from Hell
She smiled and shook her head in amazement of Gray's optimism. This is a suicidal endeavor. I hope we don't all die from it. "Is yours the one up those stairs there, or is it on the first floor? Also, I call dibs on dealing with Mack. And I'm pretty sure Luca's going to want to handle the Misshapen's leader too."
Re: School from Hell
"It's on the first floor. I'm surprised it worked. I suck at planning....I'm glad I had your help. Even though you shot me in the end..."
Re: School from Hell
"I don't make idle threats. If you say you're going to do something, then do it." She smiled at him, "Which is part of the reason I'm going to keep following you." She helped him into the apartment and then let him and her luggage go just inside the door and flopped on the couc/futon. "Those both bedrooms or is that door a bath?" She asked pointing at the door nearest the entrance.
Re: School from Hell
"bath." Gray walked over to his fridge and grabbed a water, "want anything to drink?"
Re: School from Hell
She kicked her shoes off at the bag. "Yeah, I'm feeling purple at the moment, you got any Grape Nehi? Or anything purple really?" Jesabell sat up with her back to one end of the couch and her legs stretching across the next cushion. "If not, then just surprise me."
Re: School from Hell
"Ah.....hmmm, Yeah, here catch." He tossed here a bottle. "Are you planning on living in my house?" This is information he probably needed to know for the future
Re: School from Hell
"Yes." She answered and took a sip of her drink. "Ah, that's good. It's been a while since I had one. You decided all on your own to turn where I was intending to live into an armory, so it only seems fair that you provide a replacement. Plus, somebody has to make sure you get to school in one piece."
Re: School from Hell
"Whoa whoa whoa. I never said it was the Armory, i said it was more like an armory than a council room...Does nobody listen to me?" He faked a pouty face, "Well, if you're to stay here, I suppose you should take the room at the back. It's a bit cramped, but it should do. I'll take the couch i guess."
Re: School from Hell
Jesabell stretched out on the couch, just barely reaching end to end with her toes. "But I'm already lying here. Getting up and going all the way back there would be far too much work."
Re: School from Hell
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wasn't talking about tonight anyway. I still have to get a lot of my stuff out of there. I haven't unpacked yet so there's still a ton of boxes blocking both closets. You can hardly fit half a person in there as it is."
Re: School from Hell
She waved him off. "Don't bother. I'd like my living area clean...ish. It sounds like I'd have to navigate a dangerous labyrinth of knick knacks and clothes every morning and every night, so leave them in there. This will be perfect for me." She scooted back to her original position. "I can live out of that bag perfectly. My big equipment will still be at the armory slash lab so I guess I'll be forced to do whatever it is most people who don't spend their free time breaking physics do. By the way, what's for dinner?" She sipped from her drink while waiting for an answer.
Re: School from Hell
"I'm just gonna clean it up anyways, And if you're staying here you aren't living out of a bag. There's two dressers and a closet back there, i guess we'll just make do." Gray shook his head out to think when the question of dinner arose, "I have...absolutely no idea. I haven't eaten since yesterday so...I Dunno. I guess you can order pizza. There's enough money for one in the cabinet. I'mma head to bed now."
Re: School from Hell
Jesabell jumped to her feet and threw Gray onto the couch. "You haven't eaten since yesterday! Do you do this often? How are you still alive? You're not getting away without eating something. And tomorrow, you're cooking." She went through his cubboards, scoffing at the lack of anything. "The first thing you do when you move in somewhere is find a grocery store and stock up on Mac&Cheese. How can you not have even that?" She opened her bag up and pulled out a couple of protein bars. Jesabell sat down next to Gray and haded him one of the bars. "Cheers." She said and unwrapped hers.
Re: School from Hell
"There's steak, and salmon in the freezer. And canned vegetables, potatoes, chips and Even Mac & Cheese, if you're hurtin for it, in the back bedroom behind a box labeled clothes...I just haven't unpacked yet." He sat his protein bar on the table and wandered down the hallway, "Night Beautiful!"
Re: School from Hell
Jesabell picked the bar up with a sigh, followed after him and pinned him on the bed. "I told you, you're not getting away without eating something. You are supposed to be our leader. You have to take care of yourself properly. Now eat." She opened the power bar and put it in his hand, easing off him.
Re: School from Hell
"I'm not hungry," he sighed. Gray ran his hand along Jesabells face, and placed it gently on the back of her head. He leaned forewards, and brought his lips only seconds from hers, let go, and fell back to the bed. He smiled slightly. "G'night."
Re: School from Hell
Jesabell shook her head slowly, "You're just trying to be difficult now. Fine, I guess you don't want your reward for your plan succeeding earlier, but you win this round." She got off the bed and stretched. "If you change your mind, it your stomach becomes vocal, you know where to find me." She took the bar with her and closed the door on her way out. Jesabell unscrewed the lid on her helper bout container and set them to work making and filing a dresser while she changed into an oversized t-shirt and pajama pants in the bathroom. She pulled a blanket and a couple of pillows out of her bag and curled up on the couch, the power bar on a nearby table.
