Jiles took a quick look at the goggles and then handed them back. "Not sure, I'll look into it and see what I can figure out." Jiles folded the newspaper several times so that there was only an 8"x11" side showing and then he just stared at it. In his head Jiles was burning through every symbol he had ever encountered, which was ultimately going to take a while. "You're right Akima, they might not have expected us to blow through the walls. In one game of Age of Empires I was playing against two people and while I was fending off their armies, one of them cut through a large forest of trees to get past my walls. I hadn't realized that was possible at the time and it nearly cost me the game. However, after that, I began planning for such things. Speaking of, I'll have to get back to you on those symbols later. Akima does make a fair point, I would hate to give the enemy a surprise round by not being ready." Jiles tucked the paper into his bag and then adjusted... something on his back. Anyone who had worked with Jiles before, or watched him shoot enough, would probably recognize the subtle difference in the way he carried himself, even through the illusion of a Crystallux professor, to know that even though they couldn't see it he now had his bow in hand, and probably a few arrows too, and was now focusing on the task at hand rather than the other puzzles, but he still had that pleasantly relaxed smile.

Joshua: roger that Akina...I'll just Stand by in case you guys get hurt I don't know what good I would be in a fight anyway...After all I havent used these hands to fight ever since I chose to become a doctor I don't want that to happen again ...
( he looks at his hands briefly as a image flashes through his mind where their covered in blood and then he snaps back to the current situation though anyone who knew Joshua personally would understand what's on his mind ) anyway why not get the jump on tem if this really is a trap? ( he looks at Jiles and then to aKima) I would hate to be the enemy right about now. ( he reaches into his bag and removes his gloves as he puts them on his hands

( the gauntlet/gloves worn in the pic are what Joshua gloves look like http://static.tumblr.com/eue2zml/k6Xm98dec/judokun.png )

Hayate's expression didn't change much, other than a distinct annoyed twitch from the severe amount of noise from the twin AMT Hardballers, loaded out with something way off scale from the .45ACP ammunition that the guns normally used.

His hand dropped to the M-1911, knowing full well that the gun was a functional twin (The Hardballers were a knockoff of the Colt M1911's, actually), to his own. The big difference was ease of use, cleaning, and repair.

He sighed, as the entire group continued to make far too much noise.

He cleared his throat.

"If we're looking to hide? We're officially screwed If these Iscarion Flux people didn't know we were here before? They do now."

He shot a look around leaning slightly out through the large hole in the wall with interest... he did recognize this part of the tunnels from a job about six months prior, then focused on Don.

"Exactly how new is that map you've got? Cause if they've got the place rigged with traps? Our best chance may be to use... alternative navigation methods. New York City doesn't just have the subway. You've got close to a thousand miles of tunnels down here, and that's not even the **** they have mapped. May I suggest that we put some of those tunnels to use, or are the lot of you partial to getting shot, dismembered, burnt to a crisp, or even dropped into an unfinished drop shaft?"

He then shot a manic grin back.

"Not to mention, if that blip is reading correctly, the girl is using a set of tunnels I'm familiar with. It's got an indirect link with one of the sub basements for Trump Tower..."

He chuckled.

"Good times."

Akima was surprised by Hayate's knowledge and cleverness. Thinking for a few seconds she realized that their best bet was for Hayate to lead them through those unmapped tunnels.

"Don," she said somewhat imploringly, "Are you familiar with these un-mapped tunnels?"

Don smiled. "A trap. Now that is a novel thought. The fact you are all starting to think is great. Now this is gonna get interesting. This is no longer an escort mission. Am I right Jiles?" Don turned to Hayate. "This map is very up to date, it's just a bit rushed. I'm guessing with your background though you'll be able to lead a lot better than I can." Don said as he took off the wrist chrono and handed it to Hayate. When Hayate had strapped it on, Don smiled. "Alright, which direction. Akima, your line order is great. All ya'll who aren't fight oriented get in the center so us with the boomstick's can keep you safe." Don said with a laugh.

At the end of the hallway the group was walking stood a hooded figure. The being seemed about medium height and was wearing a white cloak, the hood was up and concealed the face of the wearer. The Juvenile members of the group would notice the uneasy feeling from before was slowly turning into a feeling of anger. Cato would notice a push coming from the character of a psychic nature. In his mind he could see a pair of red eyes staring at him and a cracking voice was heard but was not sharp enough to understand what was said. In front of the party the Escarius Flux symbol flashed for ten minutes and became brighter as they walked down the hallway. The symbol floated slowly towards the cloaked figure and followed the mysterious being as it fled from the room. When the being ran out of the room the wall it had been leaning against cracked quickly and exploded revealing a staircase leading straight up. There was light coming from the top of the staircase and it floated gently down to the darkness which had recently filled up the long hallway they were walking through. the door to the left of the newly collapsed wall was a little further up the hallway, but was completely pitch black as the Escarius Flux symbol slowly followed the hooded figure who was running away.

Don grinned when he saw this and Drew Son and Boy proceeding to run ahead of the group. Don shouted at them as he ran. "Don't worry about me! Those who can't fight take the staircase which just opened up! The chrono says she's up there somewhere! She's the reason we are all here! If anyone wishes to come with me, lock and load! Your in for a show tonight boys!" Don said as He loaded bullets into the guns and ran through the door was the mysterious figure had gone through only moments ago.

The hooded figure stopped running and jumped up to a balcony which was up near the ceiling of the of the room Don and company were about to enter. The balcony itself was quite large and very big. There was a small chandelier in the large open room where the balcony was. on the ground floor of the large room Don and the group were about to enter, there were large amounts of odd marble chairs and tables scattered about. There were also foot and hand holds attached to the walls and ceiling of the room. If observation was taken, the party would realize they could use these to get to the balcony like the hooded figure had accomplished.

Hayate bolted, grabbing the edge of the wall at the stairwell with one hand and pulling as tight a turn as he could, continuing his sprint after the kid.

Ahead, he saw a low grate, half covering one of the tunnels... Drop hard, slide, rise, continue running. Another set of stairs, downward this time. Down, five at a time, hit the bottom too hard... into a roll to recover. A door.

He hit the door at full speed, knocking it wide open with his shoulder.

Joshua: I'll go after the girl! ( he sprints up the stairs kicking gravel from his speed as he keeps up with hayate and as makes his way to full speed he runs and jumps down the whole set of the downward staircase and he lands getting Abit ahead of hayate ....ow ow Ow it's been awhile since they made me do field training I have to get use to it ( he starts running at full speed once again) There's no ruling out they used that hooded man as a distraction we have to find this girl! ( he slides as he takes a turn tight as he keeps running and finally stops as he sees hayate knock how way through the door he follows) so what's the plan we run and get to her before they have a chance too?

Hayate very quickly moved himself, and Joshua, out of the open, easily hauling the Juvenile to the side and behind the cover of the wall, as he spotted a small camera that had begun swivelling their way at the sound of the door smashing open.

He scooped a rock up, drawing his falcata from his back, planting the pommel to the ground, pinching to the back of the blade to use the reflection to look around the corner, waiting for exactly the right moment...

He stood, stepping out and slinging the stone, knocking the camera from it's placement with a loud snap of electricity, and a crash of metal hitting the ground.

He then picked the Falcata from the dirt, spinning the blade and replacing it within it's scabbard.

"We move quickly, quietly. Stay behind me, and for the love of all that is ***** holy, don't vault ahead of me again, Doc. I know these tunnels. They're not safe, and some of them aren't stable."

He glanced at the camera.

"Local interests are getting smart, though. That camera was a standard lock case model three months ago. If one sees you, or me, we're screwed."

He shrugged, opening the small watch around his wrist, watching the purple blip.

"One hundred yards south, fifteen west, four north, and sixteen east. We should be able to head the kid off before she hits the northwest junction point..."

The smile that had been adorning Jiles's face was twisted by the sudden fury and he fired off an arrow after the hooded figure with an angry shout, although with the illusion the shot looked like he had just thrown a giant crystalline spear formed from his jade arm. "Tch." He looked at the stairs then after Don and that freaking white robed figure! And everyone here was being so stupid! People running around in the dark when they couldn't even see their hands in front of their faces! And Division Infinity sending so many overly qualified people to go play hide and seek with a TEN YEAR OLD! And Monet was being so- Wait. Why would I be angry at Monet? Oh that jerk. When I catch him I'm going TO- Take a deep breath and calm down. Jiles lowered his bow, slowly, and took a deep calming breath. "Follow and murder that guy or go find the girl? Only one thing to do." Jiles pulled out a die, rolled it on the ground, picked it back up, and flew up the stairs, the grin slowly resettled on his face as he distanced himself from the source of his rage.

Jiles silently glided across the ground after Hayate and Josh. When he caught up, their path had gotten blocked by a collapsed piece of the ceiling and Hayate was trying to figure out a work around. "Thanks for waiting up." He commented amused by the predicament as his feet returned to the concrete. "Alright, let's do it Josh." A ghostly illusion of the other Juvenile moved to show him where Jiles wanted the doctor to stand for the lift as he took a similar position on the opposing side. Between the pair of juveniles they could have lifted an entire ton of debris at once, this was not nearly that much and so they moved the mere several hundreds of pounds piece of stone as though it were a box spring. "Where to now?" He asked pleasantly as he actively thought of not the white hooded man.

Cato finally caught up to the party that went through the left door. Once he had, he begun to sense the presence of the hooded man. He then began to concentrate and attempted to peer into the hooded figure's mind. But just then he had the vision of the red eyes again and a burst of power hit him. Cato fell on his back. Luckily the force of the blast was relatively light. Cato scrambled to his feet.

"Be careful, everyone. He's no ordinary man. He has the same kind powers I do, likely on a more powerful scale than mine. Guard your minds! THAT man is the source of the uneasy feeling you guys had earlier! He's a psychic, and our presence may have angered him!"

He remembered what the Locos Dragon had told him about fighting by his side. The words formed in his mind.

"Your assistance is needed. We have encountered the enemy underground. He is a psychic, like me. I think it's time to work on those spells."

"Damn it!" Akima hissed, debating whether to go after the girl or the white-robed figure. And Hayate chose to go after the girl as well as the others. She couldn't leave Don and the figure to themselves. Besides, bringing the figure in for questioning could lead to some useful intel. Damn it all to hell, she didn't want to trust Hayate on his own, especially when a child was involved!

"Damn it," she said again as she chased after Don and the figure. "Don't make me regret this," she said to herself. She followed Don into the other room and took note of the figure starring at them from atop a balcony. Akima took stock of the environment and plotted out a course she could take to climb up there.

"Cover me," she said to Don, while tucking away her staff, before running to a nearby marble table, jumping onto it, and from there, jumping onto the wall. She quickly climbed up and took a left-strafing leap, spiraling a bit, and pulling her staff out again. She landed perfectly, in a battle stance and took a swing at the robed figure.

Jab, swing, downward-diagonal-left, swing, jab.

Don's eyes went wide as he saw Akima pole vault past him and up to the balcony, Don heard the sounds of combat and shouted up to her. "Don't be reckless! You could get killed! We don't know what our target is capable of!" Don said as his eyes flashes bright yellow as he landed on the balcony from the running leap he had taken. When Don landed his coat fell to the floor and in Don's place was a black Velociraptor with bright yellow eyes. It had white claws and talons in addition to being a good deal larger than your average raptor. Ripped muscles could be seen on the raptor as it reared forward at the assailant "Leave her alone!!!!!" Don roared as he body slammed into the mysterious figure with all his might. The shockwave of Don's landing knocked Akima out of the way. The being flew forward towards the far end of the room which the balcony opened up to.

The being stopped flying and crashed into the wall cracking it severely. The being got up back up as it's hood and cloak shattered into pieces and fell to the ground as if it had been glass. Strangely the figure was unscathed. There were small cuts and a few bruises but nothing severely damaging. The figure turned out to be a well built male with a height of 5'5. His hair was black as night and had silver streaks in it. His hair was of medium length and spiked up pointing in all directions. The male was clothed in a medium armored suit with an unknown composition. The male looked to be about eighteen and had a pair of glowing neon blue eyes. His face was one of shock that turned to boiling anger. "You don't even know me....yet you try to destroy me!"

The youth said as he pulled out an ancient looking revolver from his belt. The gun glowed with a blinding light for a few seconds as a stream of yellow and black fire with obsidian inside it flew out of the gun in a brief burst towards Don and Akima. It flew at them with increasing speed and emitting a high pitched squeal as it flew through the air. As the gun fired a voice spoke in the youth's mind. "Azeroth, be careful these two have the power to inflict harm upon us. If you'll allow me to control your muscles, I shall help you fight the Human." Azeroth closed his eyes and replied in thought to the voice. " Affirmative Omega. That's a great plan. You control my moves, I'll control our weapon." Azeroth opened his eyes and started running towards the party as he began to jump off the wall and ready another shot.

Back in Seal Arts room five the Locos dragon smiled as it closed it's eyes replying back to Cato. "You are right. I sense it as well. Whoever this boy is, he's not normal. I don't think it's a psychic power...it is something exotic...and new. Follow my instructions. Focus heat into you hands and rub them together when you feel a burn hold them out towards your target. This is the unlocking step for your powers. After this, just focus your thoughts and your spells will come to you. These first instructions are for your attack spell. For you second spell imagine a crowd of bubbles surrounding your target and think of wanting to cure their wounds. This spell will cure cuts and bruises. It will also mend broken bones. I remember your boss telling you to search for a book. The room ahead of you where your companions are has that book hidden in it."

Akima was stunned when the person managed to dodge each of her attacks, but she was completely unprepared for Don jumping onto the balcony in his velociraptor form and landing between the two, knocking them away.

"Could you be a bit more careful, you overgrown lizard!" Akima cried out. Then, looking at the young man in white, Akima said, "We suspect you to be involved with Escarius Flux. As such, we are placing you under arrest!"

Akima quickly dodged the quick stream of fire and obsidian and knew she had to act fast. Quickly, Akima threw a knife at the man's hand, cutting ever so slightly into his hand. In his shock, he dropped the gun

"Don, your turn."

Don saw the flames charging at them and did what he knew had to be done. The very ground they were standing on started to shake and crumble. Don ran at the flames doing his best to stop them from advancing. Don became engulfed by the flame as the obsidian hit his tough hide with a loud crash. The flame flew around Don's body as Don himself took the brunt of the obsidian shards. Don let out a cry of agony as he dug his claws into the ground as he took the hits. The force and power of the shockwave produced by the gun caused the balcony to fall causing himself and Akima to plummet towards the ground. Don Fell to over as his appearance went back to that of his humanoid self. Don was covered in major scrapes and a few of his bones could be seen. Don struggled to stand and he slammed his clasped his hands together and turned his wrists down. as he did this his coat hovered over to him and put itself on and Don immediately drew Son and Boy aiming them at towards Azeroth's Direction. "Feeling lucky moron? You attacking us disclosed your position, with that racket you made, our team is sure to circle back for us once they find the witness we came here for..your number's up." Don said with a smile as light flew off Son and Boy making a bright flash of silver and gold light.

Azeroth grinned. "Don't patronize me old man. You can barely stand." The youth had kept running leaving his gun where it had fallen. The cuts were minor but they would not prove to be too much of a problem. The explosion from his own gun had shaken Azeroth a little, but he had grown used to it. Azeroth jumped into the air and headbutted Don knocking the Anti-Paroxian to the off the remainder of the balcony making him land with a crash on the ground. Son and Boy flew out of Don't hands and landed next to Akima with a harsh grating sound.

The rubble of the balcony had landed in a rugged pile of rocks. Through the middle of the wreckage however, there was a path of rocks which could be ran up if the runner was careful in their footfalls. On the top of the small remainder of the balcony stood Azeroth smiling in satifaction. "Your the best they could send? The Division has really fallen short in the past few years...Pathetic."

Don looked up at Azeroth with a scowl on his face. The Anti-Paroxian looked like he had withstood quite a bit of damage and the bones in his left leg had broken. This was evident as Don's left leg was bending in directions it shouldn't be. Don grimaced in pain as he reached his arms out towards Son and Boy trying to reach them. Just a little further! Don thought as his other eye saw the guns only a half a yard away from him.

At seeing Don hurt, Cato remembered the instructions of the Locos Dragon... He imagined bubbles surrounding Don Chopper's wounds, tapping into his strong desire to heal his wounds. He concentrated and the bubbles had come to life and began mending Don Chopper's broken bones...

Cato then proceeded to climb up the rubble to the top of the balcony, and remembered the instructions for the attack. He rubbed his hands together and he could notice a faint spark, as his hands grew warmer. He then turned his hands towards Azeroth and focused. Just then the spark became a ball of lightning that danced around the air, heading for Azeroth!

Hayate nodded.

"With the area cleared, we should be able to get to the girl faster..."

He turned himself, digging over his shoulder into one of the top pockets of his pack, digging out a silver canister.

"Smoke grenade."

He pulled the tab and pin, and turning the output nozzle towards the opened space, illuminating a dozen or more trip sensors.

"That being said, someone doesn't want us to make it to her. Personal guess? Those are linked to anti personnel mines. I don't know about you two, but I damned well know what would happen to me if I had... about thirty six pounds worth of ball bearings shot through me."

"Eh?" Trip lasers, if only I had remembered to pack my giant mirror. Odd though, why would you use lasers this close to a subway? Jiles peered into the darkness that lay before them and the lasers revealed by the smoke. "Hm, I don't think so. The lasers are probably a bluff, it would take too much time, effort, and money to set all of that up in such a way as to be sure they wouldn't go off prematurely by the vibrations caused by a passing train, plus this is neutral flag CTF not assault so they shouldn't have had that much time. But there is a motion sensor connected to some wires up in that corner." All of a sudden the objects, walls, and other things in the room became outlined in a green werelight by an illusion created by Jiles. "They're triggered by detecting levels of heat higher than the surrounding area, if that book was right." He added with a smile. he placed a cool hand on Hayate and Josh, pulling them back as he moved ahead. "Stand back, I'll deal with it." Jiles strode through the room and adjusted the angle of the motion sensor so that it faced the wall. He turned his grin back to the others as he walked back over to them. "My fiance is an Octumas, they're skin is endothermic, and so mine is as well." He tapped his ear piece, "Akima, if you think things are about to go south, let me know and I'll head that way with all speed."

As they rather quickly passed the AP mines, Hayate glanced back, listening to the telltale whine of a triggered detonator switch... Five feet, ten feet...

There.

"Oh, hell. GO!" he shouted, the adrenaline hitting his system as he booked it, turning the corner just as the AP mines detonated, sending ball bearings into the concrete, stone work, and brick work lining the walls throughout the previous tunnel.

He looked back, grinning.

"Nice move, Iselsi. Definitely bought us enough time, moving the detonator. God knows what else they had rigged as the secondary detonator..."

He stood from his kneeling position, moving forward again.

"Twelve yards out, and a straight shot to the kid."

Akima grunted in pain, she was pretty sure she had at least one broken rib and her right ankle didn't feel up to specs. She was stunned by Don's resilience; despite the injuries, he was still going after Azeroth.

She thanked the heavens when Cato appeared and used some kind of healing spell on Don before sending a bolt of lightning at Azeroth.

She tapped her earpiece and replied to Jiles, "The girl is priority number one. Cato's here backing us up and Don's caught his second wind; we'll be good for now. I repeat: find that girl at all costs...even ours."

Thinking quickly, Akima grabbed one of Don's guns, gasping in pain as she did so, and tossed it to him. She grabbed the other, again with a gasp of pain, took aim, and fired.

"Burn in hell you sonuvabitch!"
