Skadi kicks Kain before hopping back up to her feet. "Of course I'm okay." She lets out a cough, grabs a rabinashi and throws him into the ranks. "Who asked for your help?" She walked over to Kain and picked him up by his scaled arm. "And the hell is this? I realize my form is perfect, but find your own body. Copying another, especially one of the opposite gender, and especially trying to imitate me is asking for your body to kick you in the teeth. And another thing, stop copying my techniques. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. There will be no more practitioners of the Hecatonchires style." She let out an exasperated breath. "Which reminds me, where is that cursed uncle of yours. He should have come running to try and steal it again by now." It was then Skadi noticed an uneasy feeling in her stomach. Of course, he's here. Always trying to follow me and take whatever scraps he can find. "Oh, and Kain. Thanks for the help." She ruffled his hair before going back to killing.

"Of course she's still alive. A few measly bolts of lightning wouldn't stop my precious Skadi." Said a Rabinashi with an appearance almost exactly like Skadi's except older, wearing armor, shiny black scales, and despite appearances was a man. He sat down after a quiet bravo of Skadi's return. "My prince, should we assist her?" "No, she acts of her own accord. We will not put ourselves at her beck and call like dogs. My wife will come crawling back to us eventually. In the meantime I have no intention of wasting resources fighting her. We'll be leaving shortly. Let me know if she does anything of particular note, also inform the commander." Skadi's husband picked up a glass of red wine as he watched the assault.

Fionn let out a light laugh at the family reunion in spite of the situation. Then he brought himself down and assessed the situation.

We have the rookie mage, the strongest rookie, a singing swordsman, the invincible sword princess and one of her relatives against.... a couple thouasand rabanashi

"Odds look good." Fionn swung his sword around a couple of times. "If we take out a couple hundred each, and then Invincible Sword Princess and I handle any stronger demons that approach, we may be able defend the castle and reach the portal."

Fionn looked to Skadi. My entire people were killed by the Rabanashi, but perhaps I can't call any demon a Rabanashi simply because they're a demon.

"I am going to trust you. Although your temper seems short it could be beneficial if forced against the enemy."

Skadi laughed. "A short temper? No no, I'm actually quite calm right now. I'm just very expressive and honest. I like you knight. So I will do you this one boon of fulfilling your request that I slay the strong ones. However, if none present themselves. You must face me in single combat. What is your name and title?" Skadi began forming a battlefield in her mind, specifically recalling the locations of all those cowardly mages who made that pathetic attempt on her life. She'd be cutting paths straight to them.

"Alright Leo lets go!" He grabbed his wrist and started running off towards the portal.
"Don't ask me how but I just have this feeling of were its at!"

Alex:[he pondered the thought for a moment] well.....how about forming an alliance with us?

[truthfully he had no idea about the portal, he only protected it on instinct]

Fionn looked to Skadi.

She is indeed not as other mindless demons are; beasts that seek nothing but blood and more blood.

Fionn straightened his posture. "I am Fionn the second, son of King Fionn the Fianna Éireann," He looked down to the ground and lowered his voice, "However, after the Battle of Gabhra, I suppose now I am more well known as the Scarred Prince."

He returned to his proud posture and raised his voice, "I accept your terms," Fionn moved his gaze over to the swarm of Rabanashi once again beginning to approach, "although I will be quite surprised if there is not a single worthy opponent in this army of demons. I suppose there is only one way to find out though. Alex I, I trust the son of a dragon slayer will fair well against a few demons, but if you need my help call to me." Fionn raised his sword and began to rush toward the army.

As he ran Fionn yelled, "Truth in our hearts, strength in our hands!"

The portal looked odd too him. Was it just him or did everything seem to blurr. He turned around to look at Leo.
"Come on we must hurry! I can feel a strong rabanishi presance!"

Son of a dragon slayer? I suppose a great deal of respect is passed from father to son with these knights. I hope he is worthy of that respect. And this Fionn, a survivor of the Battle of Gabhra? Skadi looked down at her blade, I remember feeling that battle. There should have been no survivors. I'm not sure if I want a good opponent here or not. Either way, I won't get the answer I'm looking for just standing around. He's got some pretty good lines too. She waded forth, making her way to the nearest wizard, as soon as he saw the blood spray closing with him he tried to scramble away, but he didn't get ten yards before a blade found it's way into his back. "Coward, at least die with honor by facing your enemy." She made her way quickly to where three of the weakest mages were gathered, many were getting out of her way. They attempted another lightning bolt, Skadi intercepted it with her blade and sent a counterbolt coursing back through them.

He could feel it, Skadi was close. He looked down into his wine, the face reflected there was like that of Skadi's but it wasn't her. He felt a pang in his heart. Thought I'd done away with you already. "I am going to see my wife. We shall leave as soon as I return." He walked towards the next mage in Skadi's path and arrived just as she had run him through. "My love, I have missed you." Skadi hesitated before turning to face her husband. "Still masquerading as me, I see." "It was the only way I could stand to bear your absence." "Right. So, have you come to try and take me back home?" "What? Oh no, I simply missed you and wanted to see your lovely face again. Though I must say, your time here has treated you well. You look younger than when we first met." "Is that supposed to be flattery?" He sighed and drank the last of his wine. "You always were a hard one to please. And I admired that in you. Still, you have killed some of our men." "Your men, not mine." "Nevertheless. I must exact retribution, even if you are my love." "Love, you say? The days of our love ended long ago." A massive zanbatou grew like a tree out of his shadow, it towered over even the tallest of Rabanashi on the field, the hilt alone was taller than Skadi. "Just like old times." She mused as she put away all but her arming sword. "Hmmph, you're not even using normal steel, how do you expect to stand against my soulsteel weapon?"

He swung the blade downward and Skadi dodged to the side and leaped into the air as the blade suddenly jerked after her. He's as strong as ever it seems. She planted her feet on the edge and launched herself towards her husband. She felt the weapon drain some of her strength, but she pressed onward. The tactic might work on non rabanashi and even some of the lesser ones, but she was hardly of that caliber and besides. This fight wouldn't last long enough for it to take it's toll on her. As she closed with him he swung the bottom of the hilt up to intercept Skadi, the moment she had been waiting for. It was true unlike most users of such large weapons he was still a threat even at close range, but this meant the blade would be parallel to the ground and she would be close enough to the base now. She hopped over him and slammed the tip of her lightning charged blade into the base of the zanbatou. A massive lightning bolt flew down through the blades, shattering the Zanbatou.

He stepped through the protal and noticed that things seemed to be calming down.
"Looks like we missed out on whatever was happening..."

Fionn had managed to build a pile of almost seventy Rabanashi bodies around him. Three small demons lunged at him, but with one slice they all flew to the dirt and stayed it further with blood.

"There may be almost a thousand of you left, but how many actually have the strength to manage one hit on me?"

A beast reaching an entire foot above Fionn's head stepped forward out of the cluster of surrounding demons and corpses.

"Very well." The beast appeared to be a mix between a giant man and a brown wolf. Fionn charged at the wolf man with and thrust his blade forward, but the creature jumped clean over the man. Fionn spun around with his blade out, only narrowly missing the wolf's stomach.

"You are indeed masterful at fleeing, you flee covered mongrel, but can such a blasphemous and disgusting beast strike down an enemy?"

The beast howled and spat. "Human. Die!" It pounced forward, teeth and claws hungry.

"Allow steal to fill your stomach!" Fionn threw his sword at the demon. It spun twice before reaching the beast who struck it to the side. Unfortunately for the powerful Rabanashi, defending against the blade had left him undefended against Fionn's knuckles. The Fiannian delivered a punch down the wolf's throat, breaking its teeth along the way. Fionn removed his fist from the now stationary beast and brought an elbow down onto its skull, shattering the bone into several fragments.

Fionn dashed to his blade, punching one short Rabanashi into the crowd along the way. As he reached his blade, Fionn saw an enormous silver object erect itself less than a hundred metres away.

"You need not all fall, but those that stand between I and that object shall." Fionn commenced slicing through the demons on his meander towards the giants blade.

Kain: { watching Skadi's battle} wow Shes so incredible......this does bring back memories if only brother was here to see this

Leo: { the moment he steps through the Portal he notices the pile of Rabanishi bodies and he gets a massive Headache} this is unbelieveable What the hell happened here!?!? { he looks around he notices the battle between Skadi and her husband}.... those 2... I know them? wait here barbatos.....{ his feet begin moving on their own as the slow walk turns into a Run} grrrrraaaaaggghhh!!!! { he starts running towards them}

Kain: no no CRAP! { he tackles LEo to the ground} if u go over there you'l be killed! you need to be alive I can't have my little brother dieing on me now

Leo: Get of me! Im not your brother

Kain: youve even forgotten me eh { leo throws kain off of him}

Leo: you know who I am?...TELL ME! { he draws his blade}

Kain: I see you still have Fathers sword....{ he draws his Katana}....this brings back memories for me I'l just have to make you REREMBER! { he clashes blades with Leo} come on brother Rerember you Are rerember what you Are

Leo: { he knocks Kain TOwards Skadi but kain Stops him self by re setting his Footing}

Kain: not bad!

{ Leo instantly Dashes across the ground as he stabs his blade at Kain while he manages to block the blow it causes some sort of a shockwave Across the Area}

Kain:... Uh hello Requesting a strategic Withdraw Auntie!!

"AH! Leo! wait!" He quickly tried reaching out to grab his arm, but it was too late. He was already half way across the area and already in battle.
What? I can't move?

((Thought this died, oh well I'm not complaining.))
Skadi began circling her husband who was looking down at his shattered weapon. "Indian giver." He commented dryly, tossing the hilt aside. A pair of blades, seemingly made of pure shadow, appeared in his hands. He twirled them as Skadi sheathed her arming sword, it wouldn't be much use against shadow blades, "That's not terribly fair." "No, it isn't, but I prefer to win. Of course, you know that well." He ran headlong at Skadi and she at him. I suppose there's really only one way to not lose this fight.

She ducked beneath his double sweep and came back up directly in front of him. The blades shot inward as she grasped the back of his head and kissed him. The kiss caused him to falter and drop the blades to embrace his wife. The nearby demons knew better than to interfere with this and focused on keeping anyone from interfering. After nearly a minute they broke apart. Skadi picked up the shadow blades as her husband ran his hand over his lips. "I suppose that is a fair trade, my love." "Agreed, husband. Should you not attend to your men?" The shadow blades disappeared. "Alas, I must. I shall also be preparing a gown for you to wear when you tire of this and decide to return home." He melded with the shadows and left.

Skadi withdrew her twin swords, ready to return to the work of mage slaying. The shadow blades were nice, but could really only be used in Radiata or by Rabanashi with enough power to sustain them, which her current body did not yet. "So, who's next?" She asked, the nearby Rabanashi were stunned that despite the two new wounds on her body Skadi still seemed ready to slay all of them, and with that they just did their best to keep their distance. Skadi looked about thinking that maybe she should take a short breather before continuing. She slammed her fullblade into the ground and sat leaning up against it.

A small cirycle of wind blew around his feet and he quickly charged at Leo
"Snap out of it!"
He held out his palm towards his face. A small cirycle formed in his palm, a gentle burst went out word and blew past Leo's face. Gently makeing Leo fall asleep. He picked up Leo and slung him over his shoulder.
"Geez Leo..." He looked over at the guy Leo was clashing with. He couldn't tell if he was real or an illusion.
