Damn... so this means he can be anyone else with the same age... well, I guess he stopped playing, after all, he wouldn´t be fanatic enough to play so much.

True, though the japanese site got it from the extra booklet, that came out the same day as Volume 3, stating that Taihaku was Balmung, so until there's solid evidence disprooving that, I'm going to go with that, though if they posted a scan, it would have helped much more.

That would explain why Taihaku was trying to teach Haseo, but I saw him more as Sanjuro.

I never played Devil May Cry, sadly, so I don't know much about it other than the fact that the two main characters are based off of Dante and Vergil The Inferno.

Oh well, I thought of that because he is the Guild Master of Ikoro, which means he´s probably the best of the best, and thus must have wisdow to be such thing, he showed that in ROOTS from my point of view

There´s still hope that he´s Taihaku, their personalties match if we think that he got older and thus more mature, but only Kadaaju can answer this.

If you remember well it is another blade Taihaku found, or it was given to him by Sakaki... anyway it´s infected with AIDA, because it´s not the weapon he found at the end of the Forest of Pain in Roots, so he got it after, maybe when Sakaki attacked him.

Apparently, that's not the case. AT is pretty certain that Taihaku isn't Balmung, he informs me that Taihaku's age was given recently and that he's in his late teens...

Apparently, Kuukai gave him this information, so you're welcome to check with either of them.

Maxwell is the weapon Taihaku was given by the Harald AI in the Forest of Pain, it was never given to him by Sakaki.

Well, I guess that tosses him back up in the air then. Personally, Im starting to see a huge possibility of Ovan being Balmung myself. Especially now that Yata's personality has been confirmed...
