I'm sure we'll find out when we actually get them a party members or they'll say it themselves.
I have no idea about Haseo. I didn't even know the fact you mentioned <.<

He was the leader of the Twilight Brigade, which is disbanded in GU, so he's no longer a Guildmaster, or even a Guild member, as far as we know.
It was later confirmed that the Guild he joined and became Guildmaster of was indeed Carnard.
We already knew for a while that Haseo would become a Guildmaster due to the fact that he is seen with a Grunty that looks like him, which are unique to Guildmasters.ForteGSOmega wrote:I have no idea about Haseo. I didn't even know the fact you mentioned <.<

Her hat changes configuration and her expression is different. That's not really beyond the scope of the system...
Guilds stack. You can be guildmaster for one guild and a member of another. Haseo is more or less a member of both Ikoro and Raven (if he's not in Raven officially it's only because it's a dummy guild and doesn't matter).
Pai is a CC employee and member of Raven (though again it's not much more than a cover name for G.U. so it doesn't matter), and so is Kuhn, though he's the founding guildmaster of Canard and used to be vice guildmaster of Kestrel before that (they've never found a replacement). Saku assists Bordeaux in umm, "business", so she seems at least loosely affiliated with Kestrel.

It is more of being able to participate with other guilkds rather than an official member.
As the system would only list one guild you are associated with in your display. The guild thta is displayed is the group you ar eofficially in.
But as long as you have the "key" to access other guild, you can participate in other guilds even you are ot officially in the guild, but you are not allowed to use that Guild's utility. Haseo has the keys of Icoro, Moon's Tree, Festrel, and Raven. He can go inside their guild home as he likes, but no access to the Grunty benefits.

Well, they talk a bit more, and some tells you funny side story. Like there is a PK who tells you about how her husband in real life is unloyal to her, so she found out he is playing The World and logs into the game to PK him. And whe you talk to the husband, he'll tell you he logs on to The World to escape form his wife, but is now scared when he finds her coming after him.
Some other character kinda shows how famous... or infamous Haseo is. A lot of PKs recognize him and have grudges over him. And once Haseo won the tournament, most of peopel would reocgnize him as the champion.

According to an email from Gaspard you can officially enter more than one guild, 'cause they stack... The "guild slot" might either get longer in this case, or only display one of them. The singleness of the slot might just be an oversight...
Edit: Also, like all the main grunty options are master-only anyway. Remote shop administration and warehouse admistration are a guildmaster's responsibility I think... Also, the guildmaster is the only one with a scroll attached to collect information for the ryu books... Everyone might be able to use the forge, but you can't really say for sure...

Well, PKing isn't bad. In fact, you could look at it as exactly the opposite: killing is bad in our world, but The World exists to provide a place where anything is possible, and you don't need to feel constrained by laws or moral restrictions while playing the game. And it's obviously something the creators of the game intended, or they wouldn't let players do it. This guild is made up of people whose enjoyment of the game comes from PvP combat.Umbra wrote:I'm surprised to hear that someone who loves The World worked for a Guild predominately made up of PKs
PKing is generally considered different to PvPing.
PKing is when you attack players of a lower level for no reason, fight without a prior agreement to engage in combat, or PK your own party members in the Field.
PvPing is generally agreeing to fight and carrying that out, or simply fighting in the Arena.
While Gabi and several other members of Kestrel do not PK, the Guild is known for it and the majority are made up of PKs. The majority give them the name, regardless of what kind of organisation they are.

There are a few more you encounter during gameplay:Umbra wrote:Kestrel: Gabi, Bordeaux, Negimaru, Grein
Tsuki no Ki: Keyaki, Atoli, Sakaki, Kaede, Matsu
Carnard: Silabus, Gaspard
Raven: Yata
Ikoro: Taika, Tenroh
Project GU: Piros the 3rd
Iyashi-tai ("Healing Force"), which consists exclusively of Gaspard-type harvests. You see them in one of the gameplay videos.
Trifle, dunno much about them...
Empireo, ditto.
