anyone know what .hackey is? It was shown in the trailer and I havn't seen anything else about it.

I believe .hackey is the radio show related to GU...

I noticed that the Movies section has been removed from the .hack//GU website, possibly because it is so close to the release date that all the information will simply spoil the story as it plays out.

I think the best way to ID who that Maha lookin' character is is to first ID the arm...

The more I look at the "Macha" picture, the more it looks more like Maha from SIGN than Mia or Macha the actual phase. I couldn't tell at first why the right side of her face is so dark, like an object causing a shadow or something.. But then I pulled up a picture of Maha from SIGN when I realized his face was half white/Half purple. This new "Phase" of Macha could possibly be a new hyped of version cobination of Mia/Maha (Seeing as the face is quite oblong, like Mia's) Or, I'm just looking at it too hard.. Heh..

I think it vaguely looks like it has the coloring of Maha and the same kind of "body type" that Mia had. >: Not much of Macha left in there.

Hmm, I liked the part where they showed a, in my opinion, struggling Tri Edge, perhaps Kite trying to break free from an AIDA that's controlling him?

All right before Tri Edge uses what is almost definetly Drain Heart...but aimed at the floor...

He's struggling because he's very damaged. Probably by Haseo.

That actually makes sence to me. I mean, we know that ADIA's are trying to control actual players. I guess since kite is so powerful, the adia chose him. maybe a kind of "if we can get him, everyone else is easier to infect"

Yeah, I know Tri Edge is also hurt. I was thinking maybe the more hurt Tri Edge becomes the weaker the control of the AIDA controlling Kite (assuming Kite is Tri Edge of course).

Second of all the Avatars/AIDA like Skeith seem to act like the Symbiotes from Spiderman in a few ways. They give the host great strength, new abilitys, amplify urges (psycho Haseo...) but seem to slowly try to take control of the host (Haseo fighting with Skeith).

I'm going to go off the current topic and talk about the video's that were put up today. I like that they put traps and stuff in the dungons it makes it a lot less repeditive which was one of the biggest drawback of the original games.

That would indeed be Data Drain. We're referring to a different scene.

About that box/file cabinet/computer thing that appears in the last part of the trailer, with Haseo, Tri-Edge, and the others...

If you think about it, it's very much possible that Tri-Edge, or the AIDA's in general, are trying to access it.

I don't think so. I think the black box is a physical part of the outside world.

No, it's a part of the game. No one CC Corp. from has ever seen the contents of that specific file because Harald put a lock even they can't crack when he sold Fragment to them. In the trailer, that thing is in one of the deattached white areas outside the normal gamespace, which is a pretty safe place for Harald to have placed it in.
