Re: Shooting Star
"Of course. Did you really think I would just leave behind my little sister, Zelos?" Remia said as they walked out into the sunlight.
Well across the clearing, Hijira was tending to a wounded man when someone called out to her from the forest. Turning, she saw a young woman walking from the forest with long, dark hair and a long, brown rod on her right arm. "Umm... can I help you, Miss?"
"Yeah. I'd heard a Dragon's roar coming from over here, and I thought I might come and fly it, but it seems the Dragon's flown off already," she replied as she looked around.

Re: Shooting Star
((Who is that? I don't see a person like that with a character sheet.))
Hecate finally managed to get the last of the wounded treated. The dead would have to be dealt with once they had eaten and gotten a bit of rest. The ice had melted with a bit of help from another wish maker, but it didn't take away the pain her ankle felt. She would have to see if they had any of the pain killers left once she finished cooking a meal and rationing water to those who remained. She knew there wasn't much they could do but attempt to rebuild the museum in hopes that it would stay a strong base. They still and problems with supplies, so it would be hard to tell if they would have to move.
She put meals out for everyone in the display, placing cups of water near the trays. She couldn't use any of the gas, but she hoped the slightly warm soup would help people stay a little warm. She stood there, gazing for a moment, trying to figure out if bringing out more blankets would help anyone who was still cold.

Re: Shooting Star
(New character of Neko's that was approved yesterday or early today by Haseo. Probably hasn't had time to add her yet. ^_^;; )
Zelos looked at her and nodded. "Of course I didn't. SHe is your family," he said as he looked around, as if sensing something. "Family..." he asked himself quietly. Did he have some? He couldn't really remember... but he had a hazy image... of a person that looked human. Could it be he really DID have living family still, as that man... whatever his name was, had said? "Let's go get her. I'd like to have as much strength on my side as possible. Yours and hers should be more than enough. IF for no other reason, we can use our powers to wipe out the other sides fighting. Nothing quite like being the rulers of a dead world then to kill off your targets."
The two returned to Hijira in seconds and were looking at her. Zelos looked at Remia and nodded. She could handle this. Still, the woman with the eye in her chest and her arm... something was strange about her. She made Zelos... uneasy. Who was this girl?
Elsewhere, Dale sat in the center of a town, tuning his lute as he looked around quietly. The man smiled as he began to pluck the chords quietly. At first, the music was not but a humming. A few of the local boys were in a scuffle. Two were holding different sides of a handkerchief and trying to stab at each other with knives. The other four boys with them watched quietly as the two fought.
"It looks to me like it's time to rumble!" the first boy said as he stabbed.
"But it is you who will take the tumble~" he said, his words becoming musical as he spoke the last bit.
"I'm sorry, hun, but did you just sing that?" a woman passing by asked.
"Of course I did not~! Wait, yes I did~! the man said as he couldn't help but start singing. "I'm sounding shrill~ against my will~ and cannot stop this singing."
"And in my ears I swear I hear a quite distinctive ringing!" the other boy holding a knife stated.
"This silly game~ is very lame~ and someone's going to pay!"
"An unknown force~ but where's the source~ that has us in its sway~!"
"Who is doing this to us~?!" another boy asked, sliding between the two and knocking the handkerchief out of their hands. "And on this we must concur~!" he paused as the people started gathering together.
"The dastardly~ Despicable~Disturbingly~ Inexplicable!" the group sang together in tune.
"And infinitely kickable!" a large man said.
"That dirty rotten rat is~" all the people in the square sang as they turned towards Dale.
"The Music Meister!" Dale sang loudly as he rose up. "Put down your arms, my friends. Your arrows, guns and sword! Your resistance to my charm now ends when I belt these power CHORDS~!" he yelled loudly as everyone around dropped what they were doing and moved towards him.
"Good guys~ and bad guys~ it doesn't really matter! You all are just slaves to my hypnotic patter! Let me regale you with my story! You'll know you have no choice, but to do my evil bidding~ when you hear this booming voice~! I'm the Music Meister!"
"The Music Meister~!" everyone in the town who wasn't a wishmaker sang as they rose up and moved towards the center.
"And everyone just fawns!"
"He's the Music Meister~ and we are all his pawns~!"
"And so for me it's destiny, to be the maestro of villainy~!Yes, I'm the Music Meister~! And I'm here to settle the score!" he belted as the town began to follow him, everyone connected by lines of music extending from his lute. "I have plans for you all, so let's get to work!" he yelled, moving towards Pheles' base. This was almost TOO easy. Almost.

Re: Shooting Star
((Correct. Haseo okay'd her this morning. EDIT: he updated, so she's there now.))
Zelos wasn't the only one. The Seihou sister were also a bit wary of her, more Remia than Hijira though. "I see... I'm not 100% sure, but my sister could probably tell you. She was involved with it," Hijira replied to the woman as Remia and Zelos walked up and Hijira jugged over to them. Though Hijira didn't see it, The Woman had leveled her strange rod at Zelos and Remia until she noticed Hijira run up to them and Remia move defensively in front of her sister.
"Huh... That's rich. Protecting your next meal, Bloodsucker?" the woman stated as Remia smiled.
"Protecting my sister, actually," the Vampire replied, making the woman pause. "The better question is, who are you?"
The woman smiled. "You aren't just another monster, are you? The Name's Analise," said the dark-haired woman as she lowered her arm. This promised to be good.

Re: Shooting Star
((LOL, assuming I have time. That’s silly. Oh hey! Updates by the way. Also! LET’S DO THE TIMEWARP! It’s just a hop to the left.))
~Three days later~
“Drat! We missed him,” the Puppeteer whispered “Let me down now.” Quentin did as she commanded, “And I wanted to show him my new toy!” She straightened his hat, and sat in Pheles’s throne. Pheles’s base was far, far more luxurious than Phorkyas’s base, and seemed to have been an entire city to those who knew no better. Pheles’s throne was in what would have been city hall. Quentin itched his ear, on which the Puppeteer had kindly branded on his right ear, or rather pierced, as it was an earring with Pheles’s emblem, which bore a striking resemblance to the Cross of Saint James. She had also, removed and destroyed his chipped glasses.
Hero woke up to find his shovel missing and an empty stomach. “!” He quickly searched his pockets for the one thing he wanted no one to have, the match. He stuck the match, and turned it off again, making sure it was working. He then stood up, and tried his best to close his torn jacket.
“Dammit! That’s the fourth person in two days!” Tristan curse, referring to the man with the smashed in head laying on the floor. “Whoever the hell is doing this is going to pay!” He picked up his spear, and hurried off to Hecate, who was receiving complaints about work on the repairs not being done. “When Frank was killed, someone took all the lumber he had!” “Whoever the killer is, he took paint cans too!” “Hey,” Tristan’s voice rang out “Jack’s gone too. Same thing.” A small uproar began, “We have to find this killer and give them what’s due!” “When I find him, I’m going to twist his goddamn head off!” Other threats and insult flew across the room for a fair reason, but Tristan weaseled his way in, “Hecate…when is Phorkyas coming back?”

Re: Shooting Star
"She said exactly three days." Hecate spoke once the people began to try and work again on the rebuilding of the museum. It was easy to tell that she was worn out from taking care of them and attempting to not tire herself out in the process. Still, she had promised Miss Phorkyas that she would take charge and that meant being able to do something about the thief and killer in the base. "I'm going to make sure nothing else is missing." She answered, picking up a pad of paper that she still had and kept using until it would deteriorate on her. She had to keep track of things somehow.
Re: Shooting Star
"It sounds like somebody needs some Bravo Encouragement!" Boomed Captain Bravo's voice over the din going on around Hecate. People had learned quickly to get away quickly when Bravo decided to give people encouragement and so they broke up immediately. "Travel in Bravo Pairs!" He shouted after them. "I finished Bravo Rebuilding that wall and Bravo Chopped up some more wood. Do you have another task for me?" It seemed like Bravo had been going nonstop for the past three days, this wasn't quite true, he had slept a little late last night, but his wish had been to protect others and so long as he was doing something related to that, such as rebuilding the museum fortifications, his endurance was practically boundless.
Erza had done her best to avoid getting dragged into helping, but Hecate wasn't exactly someone you could hide from very well and she wouldn't let Erza get out of it via any games of chance, especially since Erza had a knack for tipping the odds in her favor, no matter the game. She was on her way back to see what Hecate had in store for her next when she heard Bravo and saw all of the people running away. That idiot's still here? She sighed and stepped into the room, "Hey, I finished with that thing." She slumped down in a chair just inside. "You figure anything out about the killings?"

Re: Shooting Star
"Nothing that I can conclude." Hecate spoke, making sure her glasses were on. She had been making sure to use her wish only when people didn't notice. It had taken a toll on her as well, but she had to be strong. "All I know is that this person is easily able to hide themselves. Thank you for your help, Miss Erza." She knew that the woman could easily leave and go to another person for help. She would have to thank Captain Bravo as well. She placed the pad down with the clues that she had been able to gather. "If you can think of anything, please let me know. Miss Phorkyas will be able to help when she gets back." She had another pad of paper with the clues just in case she needed to remember.
She turned and headed to where Captain Bravo was, glad that she still had something of her own to thank someone with. It was her favorite candy, caramel. She also liked butterscotch, but it was rarer to find that around. "Mister Bravo?" She spoke, approaching where he was currently working. "Thank you for all your efforts."

Re: Shooting Star
Zelos looked at the three women and crossed his arms with a laugh. "Okay, so that lady wants to come with us. I'm sorry I haven't explained what we're up to, but, I need to make sure I was far enough away from other unnecessary WIsh makers... I.E. anyone on either of those two sides of worthless humans. I can't tell you what I am quite yet... but I'm not completely human either. Still, I am not a Wish Maker, nor can I become one. I feel that will suffice as an explanation," he said as he looked at the sky. "For now, there are things I can tell you... and that I need to find a source of great wish energy... killing wish makers works well, but I suppose finding gods from this world and killing them would have the same effect as wish makers. Aside from that... apparently my brother..." Zelos said as he rested his finger against his forehead as if adjusting glasses as he looked at them, "is out in this world somewhere. I wish to find him..." the green-haired one said as he stood up. "WIll you help me in these two endeavors? I promise I can reward you if we succeed."
Dale continued to dance along, playing his lute as the town continued to line-dance side to side with him. "LEt's do the time Warp again!" he said as he stopped in front of Pheles' base. "Hey! I'm here for an interview. I need the boss to open this damn place up and let me the hell in!" Dale yelled as he kicked the door. "I've got a sacrifice or offering or whatever and everything!" Dale yelled as the people continued to dance against their will. A number of them were worn and decayed from not having eaten and dancing and singing for three days. "I need to nourish my new pets before they expire!"

Re: Shooting Star
A hand rested on Hecate’s shoulder, “Thank you as well little miss, you’ve done a mighty fine job of controlling this place. I’ll take it from here.” Billy dropped a sack full of meat for the people of the base. “Sir, can I ask that you help Hecate with these supplies while I check in? Also, Hecate needs help in the kitchen, we’re feasting tonight,” Billy shouted. Deep in the corners of the room a pair of scarlet eyes glared at Billy; no one could sense the malice that hid beneath them, as the boy held his toy tight. ‘He’s the man who I kill. If I kill him…’ His mind flashed with one of Pheles’s illusions. He remembered it vividly, Pheles had him in a torture rack, the rest was too much to bear, and he began tearing up.
Quentin’s hand touched the door as it exploded open. “Sic ’em boy!” ‘You’ve got to be kidding me!’ He raged through a line of people, each person exploding on contact.

Re: Shooting Star
Hecate relaxed as she saw Billy there. She removed her glasses slowly, cleaning a few spots on them that had formed when she was helping do some repairs earlier. A strange emotion was coming from a direction, but it wasn't directed towards her. Who was it that was exuding such a strong emotion? Normally she'd be perfectly fine at zoning it out. Yet this emotion was so strong, reminding her of what she had left behind. That loneliness and shock as the truth was revealed. Still, this emotion was strong enough for her to feel like it was entering her and attempting to do something strange-
Her hands dropped her glasses, body starting to collapse against Billy.

Re: Shooting Star
He waved the offer of the candy off. "Keep it, you work harder than anybody else." "I'll take it." Erza said helpfully and she straightened up in her seat. "If you put half the effort you spend trying to get out of work into doing it, you wouldn't be so exhausted." "I've never worked so hard for so little in my life. Actually, I've never worked this hard period."
He caught the glasses an inch above the floor with one hand and put the other firmly on Billy's arm, not enough to be painful, he's just trying to make a point. What did he do to Hecate? I didn't see anything, but maybe it's touch based. "Sorry, who are you?"
When did he- He's fast. I guess what the others have said about him isn't just talk. Erza glanced in the direction of Raymond, When did that kid get there? Was he here before? I must be getting exhausted if I missed that. She looked back at the possibly mentally impaired man, Hold on I'm exhausted and I've been sleeping and sitting whenever the opportunity has presented itself. And from what I've heard, he's only ever stopped long enough to ask Hecate for another task. How is he still standing? And why the hell aren't his clothes the least bit dirty? I'd almost kill for clothes like that.
((So, we now have the ultimate saw and the ultimate armor in this role play.))

Re: Shooting Star
Dale merely side-stepped the catastrophe that began behind him as he entered into the building. "With my freeze ray, I will stop~ the world! With my freeze ray, I will find the time to find the words to~ tell you how~ how you make~ make me feel~ what's the phrase. Like a fool~ kinda sick~ special needs~ anyways~. With my freeze ray I will stop~ the pain! It's not a death ray or an ice beam, that's all Johnny Snow. I just think you need time to know that I'm the guy to make it real! The feelings you don't dare to feel! I'll bend the world to our will! And we'll make time stand STILL~! That's the plan. Rule the world! You and me, any day! Love your hair," Dale paused as he noticed that his powers weren't working on the guards. "Well damn... the good doctor would be most displeased. I suppose this is the difference between you guys and that masked chick's group."
Dale looked at Puppeteer and remained silent for a moment. "Well... what the hell am I supposed to do now. I come looking for the infamous leader of this group, and instead I find a chick with a rabid dog with a metallic arm that blows things up. Hey, lady!" Dale yelled as he pointed at her, "I'm here for an interview. COme down off of your throne and let's get this started!"

Re: Shooting Star
Analise laughed at the question. "Sounds interesting, at least. Sure, I'm game," she replied in her normally confidently manner. The last three days with this new girl was... Interesting... to say the least. Other then to state that her wish was to control the Ultimate Power, and that she was good at incinerating things, her power or powers were a mystery, for the most part. They did know, however, that Remia didn't take well to exposure to her powers, her skin acting as though she stood in the Sun. "An interesting decision though, to go after Gods and all. Can you win?" she asked as Hijira 'read' up on another of her weapons, and Remia napped in a shady, nearby tree above her.
Re: Shooting Star
Zelos nodded. "Of course I can. Who the hell do you think I am?" Zelos asked as he paused. "Wait, you wouldn't have an answer to that," the man stated as he looked around and sat down. "I can sense where Elemental Coalescence are," Zelos said as his arm transformed. "When my arm begins to react by glowing and releasing an 'a' note pitch, we'll know we're close," the former god said with a smile as his arm turned back. "Also, I know kind of how your power works. My brother has something somewhat similar... I think... I recall something of his power, but not much of it," the man said with a sigh. "But I'll reward you when this venture to wipe out the gods is over."

Re: Shooting Star
Billy caught Hecate in his arm and stared off in the direction of the child, but not quick enough to see his face as he fled. ‘Wish-makers can’t affect her, so what could have done this? This definitely is not natural.’ He felt Bravo’s hand and turned to face him, “Nice catch! Oh, my name? I’m Billy!” He smiled warmly and looked towards Bravo then Erza, “She probably overworked herself, you two are?” He said pointing at Erza, and speaking towards Bravo. “They’re Erza and Captain Bravo!” Tristan chimed in, “They’re new around here, but they’ve been helping Billy!” Tristan seemed to straighten up around Billy, but that was because Billy was one of his idols, in a childish sort of way.
“My…hair?” The Puppeteer looked at her hair and reached for strands, “I guess it’s nice…” She ignored most else of what Dale had said, until he referred to her as lady. “Do not point at me you insolent little snot!” She noticed that his finger remained, identifying him as a wish-maker; while outside, Quentin’s inexhaustible powers ran train, blasting basketball sized hole in everything he touched. “You will refer to me as “the Puppeteer” and nothing else, do you understand?” She did not rise, as she ordered the guards who obeyed her command. “Check his clothing for weapons and the like.” They reached for Dale’s lute, which he held defensively, and found nothing else. “Just a harp, nothing much else,” one of the guards reported. “You can head on up,” another said, pointing down the hallway that led to the “throne room.”

"And you, miss PUppeteer, can call me either Music Meister or Dr. Horrible. Depends on the day," Dale joked as he adjusted his lute and headed towards the throne. "Now then, are you the boss of this outfit? Or at least that guy that's killing those stupid villagers that I drew out here with my PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWERS?!" Dale asked, cackling slightly as he did. "And also, are you the boss?" he asked her, "'cuz if you are, I think this is the place I might want to work," he stated as he chuckled.

Re: Shooting Star
Analise smirked. "So what you're telling me is, you're some kind of Divine Elemental Locator?" She asked before laughing. "Yeah, and I'm A Hell Raven that swallowed a God. Next you'll tell me that that arm of yours is a Divine Instrument!"
"They exist, you know," Hijira said out of the blue as she she rose and 'put away' her weapon scroll, tucking the rod into a dress pocket. "Divine Instruments are items, mostly weapons, that bear a strong connection to a God or Goddess."
"Uh huh... And what is supposed to make no believe this...?" Analise asked, skeptical to this claim.
The woman held up her hand. "Me. Or rather, my wish. To copy a weapon, one most know the weapon, its make-up, age, origins... all that comes together to make a weapon what it is. If I touch and copy it, I can tell where it came from." She turned to Zelos, Analise immediately understanding where this was going. "Zelos, would you mind letting touch one of your blades? If it really is a Divine Instrument, then it would greatly help me in my goal to uncover these legendary objects. Please...?" she asked as Analise laughed again.
"Yeah, let her touch it. If you do, I'll let her touch this," She lifted the Control Rod on her right arm. "Just to be fair. What say you, Zelos?"

He let his hand fall from Billy's arm. "Like he said, I am Captain Bravo." Erza looked at Tristan and shrugged, "Erza Starkes, under appreciated professional poker player, guilty as charged." She picked up a small rock off the ground and tossed it at Tristan's back. It fell woefully short, she just sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Would you like me to take her back to her room?" Bravo tucked the glasses into a pocket and offered to take the girl off Billy's hands. "I'll keep an eye on her, after you get her there." Erza offered, perking up a little at the chance to not do manual labor.

The Puppeteer looked down on Dale and repeated him, “Music Meister or Dr. Horrible? Are you kidding me? Quentin get in here.” She said as Quentin stopped dead in his tracks. He then bout faced and rushed back in the building. “This guy? Yeah, I’m the boss of him.” Quentin shot a dirty look but could say nothing. “Now what are your powers? Try them on this slave.” ‘I’m going to blow up her face, I’ll be up there in less than 3 seconds, and boom, she’ll have nothing left.’
Billy nodded and helped Hecate into Bravo’s hands, “That seems like a plan, Tristan come with me, tell me what’s been going on, why is half the place gone?”
