"There's an order from your company and they were going to ask you to pick it up." She pulled out two boxes, one with muffins and the other with danishes. "Please tell them we send our greetings."

"Please do take care not to trip. It would be terrible to not attend because of an injury." Her eyes closed while she went into her office. When they opened next they were Contractor eyes. "Peris-sama, another who listened to the conversation came." The figure nodded, sitting down on the plush like chair.

"Let me take care of this."

Cale lied atop a roof looking through a pair of binoculars as he tried to locate Sakura so that he could start building an identity to go with the face. Even contractors can form connections, Hei was a perfect example of that, although they rarely hesitated to cut those, but you never know. In the worst case he'd have a way to get a message to her, without walking up to her himself, and he might be able to start putting together a routine. Very helpful if he ended up needing to take her down. He didn't want to if he could avoid it, killing young girls was always something he detested, but he'd still do it. He'd just rather do it from the safety of a sniper rifle. He checked the area, he had set up flash bombs just in case of an attack, but he hoped that wouldn't happen. He'd have to find a nice room inside one of these buildings so that he could observe from a less conspicuous place.

Walking with a group of friends, Sakura seemed to be a completely normal girl. Her eyes showed no sign of even being remotely a contractor. The two around her seemed to be laughing at a joke she had spoken.

Cale couldn't breathe easily until the girl was well out of his sight. It was strange, even the best contractors seemed to have difficulty changing how their eyes looked and there was always a hint, but not Sakura. Most people didn't notice even the most blatant of contractor eyes, but having once been one himself and having to work with them so much he had come to know the look all too well and could spot even the slightest hint from a long ways away. What did they say at their meeting yesterday? Something about giving a person contractor powers, so maybe just maybe they were able to take them away. He'd need to get in touch with these people personally when he had time. He couldn't afford to lose this chance.

Once Sakura entered the school, sitting in the bathroom by herself, her eyes became blank. "Arishtat-sama, that drunk that killed Dev-sama's..."

"I know, we'll get back at him." The figure put one hand on Sakura's smaller one.

Cale sat at the designated location and drank water. Today's events forced him to make a concerted effort just to keep his hands from shaking, and he wasn't about to make that any more difficult with alcohol or caffeine. After this meeting he'd need to find a track or a gym some place where he could do something physical.

Katsu Yukimura appeared like he usually did, for a casual cup of coffee. He sat down next to Cale, placing a disc in his lap without hesitation. "That's what I've managed to track down so far, since Pandora's box doesn't open very easily." He took a sip of his black coffee.

Cale gave Katsu a disc as well. "That's everything that I got from last night." Sipping his water, "Hey Katsu do you...no, never mind. Thanks for the info." He slid the disc into his jacket. He'd head back to his room and check out the disc when he was done with his drink.

"You should finish your question." He spoke, holding a hand to his neck. The marks had still not healed from when Emi had attacked him.

Cale sat pondering for a moment, looking to the water as if it would give him some insight. "Do you know about any cases where a person is a contractor, but is completely unaware of it?" He wasn't going to look up, when he'd asked Dr. Schroedinger she'd said it was impossible, and yet...

"I've seen quite a few cases of that. I was almost killed by one a few days ago." His eyes narrowed, "Why do you ask?"

----

Staring at the trees sat a young boy. His hands busy sketching what seemed to be the foliage.

Cale stood and downed the rest of his water, "I think little miss Sakura might be one. Her eyes looked strange and she was behaving like a normal girl. I wasn't sure if she was acting or not. It was a random thought seemed like a stupid idea, I'm glad to know that it's possible. Although this might make my work a little more difficult. Anyways, you know where to reach me if you require my services. Have a good day Mr. Yukimura."

As he walked off he got tackled by a girl wearing a brown backpack and long azure hair in a ponytail. "Pardon me, I didn't see you running there. Are you alright miss?" Said Cale as he started to get up. "CALE! It is you!" Cale blinked several times as the girl hopped up and wrung his neck. "Alice?" "Yeah, baka, who else would it be?" "Baka, again?" "What?" "Somebody else called me that a couple of days ago." "What did you do?" "Don't worry about it. What are you doing here?" "I'm taking classes here. Who's your friend?" "I wouldn't really call him a friend. We're just working together."

Alice took Cale by the hand and dragged him back to his seat. "Hello, I'm Alice, Cale's little sister. How are you?" As Alice took Katsu's hand and shook it. Cale sighed and called for a couple of hot chocolates. Looks like I won't be leaving anytime soon. Oh well, I haven't seen Alice in a long time, now the only one I haven't seen in the past week is Richard. Cale looked around half expecting to see his younger brother.
-----------------------
About 30 seconds earlier.
Alice had just gotten done with her classes and track was tacking a break that day so she was walking back to the home she was staying at when she saw unnaturally natural long blue hair tied into a ponytail and sitting atop a cowboy outfit. There were only two people she knew who wore anything like that, and one she knew was in Texas which meant that this might just be the other. She saw him leaving the cafe and took it upon herself not to lose this rare chance. She really only saw this guy once a year at best after all. So she ran, and tackled him before he could disappear in mystery again.

Katsu's eyes narrowed, feeling a bit out of place among this person's presence. "Nice to meet you, I'm Katsu Yukimura, a reporter." He was like his usual self, open and free to talk with the best of them. "I hope your classes are going well." His eyes still were narrowed a bit, something was off.

----

"Hmmm?" He blinked, holding the sketchpad closer to him. "Who are you?" He looked nervous, as if something were after him.
