((Continuation of the recap (fair warning. this is a long one). I claim no rights to any of the stories or story pieces i post in the recaps (except the portions that i originally posted myself). I would also like to add these are not only my words but the text from the posts as well. Please keep this in mind when reading. Thank you))
RECAP PART 2:
2:47 PM..
Jot had just gotten home from school and the first thing he did was log in..
"I'm still in these clothes, what happened yesterday!?" said Jot not surprised. 'I'll have to get used to them now... Great, now no one knows who I am now!"
Jot noticed that there was no pain in his wrist. He walked towards the Chaos Gate.
" Delta [Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground]!" yelled Jot.
Jot was warped to a beautiful cathedral that veryone one knows well, the Hulle Grahz. Jot ran towards the door and when he got there, he saw a character screaming.
"What's wrong?" asked Jot, but it was too late, the character had warped before he could finish. "What was that about a god?"
Jot walked over to the front of the cathedral, but only to notice that somethign was wrong.
"Where' the statue of Aura?!" said Jot to himself. The gitr he saw the dya before seeped into his mind. "Could that have been, Aura? Wait, no way! Things like this never happen to me, but, could that have really been Aura? And does that mean the what happened yesterday is connected to the missing statue? Is that what the guy was refering to, Aura is missing!"
Jot hough to hismself what were the consequences of [The Wolrd] without Aura.
"I wonder if he knows? said Jot before he wapred out of the area. When Jot got to Mac Anu, he stared running to the heart of Mac Anu, the CC Corp Hq in the World...
Dark Blade had been in Hulle Granz for a long while after his episode of discovering Aura was missing. Another player had disturbed his contemplations while he was there and gated back to Mac Anu. While in Mac Anu Dark Blade had steadied his resolve and decided to break the seal he asked Aura to place on the bracelet she had given him. Upon the unsealing Dark Blade endured unspeakable pain while the 2 halves of the bracelet remerged. After the bracelet had become one piece again he discovered his character's design had become altered. He spent as much time as he dared to waste looking at his new form. Soon after his inspecion he went to Wailing Capital Wald Uberlisterin to begin his search for Aura.
(Nemfora) - Dark Blade searched underneath him but Nemfora had hacked himself up into the sky with Lenae. He stood on his created platform. It was streaming with binary, he never really got the hang of graphic design.
"Why.....why..... why are you doing this to me?" He could hide it no longer. The proud hacker was crying and his voice revealed it.
"I don't hate the AI's and I only used them once. It was a mistake, but WHY are you bringing me back to the pain?" Nemfora trembeled. They were back, the memories. They flowed through him like poison. He could see the news headline "Ten CC Corp Men Comotose". His M2D was blurry in the real world and online. That's when Lenae slapped him.
The struck was sudden but meaningful.
"Don't you get it?" she snapped.
"This is an oppertunity for forgiveness! You can be saved!" she looked at him, almost staring at his real eyes.
"It won't be easy I promise, but the bracelet will help!" she looked so determined.
"But..." he sobbed, "that's half the problem! You turned on the light... and when there's light....."
"There's shadows..." she must've already considered this.
"I know, but I prevented it by sealing the Dusk bracelet. As long as it remains sealed we are safe." She eased the discomfort. Then they heard Dark Blade call.
"Lenae! I know you're here. I activated the bracelet! Now we can find her!" Dark Blade looked around for Lenae, but high above both faces were full of terror.
"Oh, no...." Lenae said
The ground began rumbling and Wailing Capital Wald Uberlisterin the land of the dead, resurrected it. From the shining light of the bracelet came shadows, and from the shadows......came. Nemfora couldn't stand to speak the monsters name. From the shadows came....
The White Knight returned from another successful trip into the dungeons. At this rate she'd make her job extension in no time. Still, she couldn't get the image of the girl out of her mind. With no where else to turn, she logged out and jumped on to the message boards. She wrote up a quick message and posted it.

Has anyone else witnessed a glitch character that looks like a girl near the bottom of Delta Hidden Protected Fallen Angel?
Rika sat back in her chair, with her M2D off to her side. She had some homework to get done, but decided to keep the forum window open in case someone else saw the girl too.
"What do you mean " That's not of your concern!", I now him, now let me in so I can tlak to him!" requested Jot.
'Sorry sir but-"
"Let him in, I was expecting him.."
"Lios!" said Jot surprised. " I need to speak with you, its very important that you shoould know!"
"Let us go soewhere private, follow me" said Lios. As they walked, there was an akward silence and Jot felt like he was bieng watched or something. The Silence broke when Jot asked:
"Do you know about what happend to Aura?"
"Why do you ask?" asked Lios
"Somewthign happened, cant you tell, look at me!?" said Jot.
"He does seem different, wait, whats that on his right wrist!?" said Lios in his mind. As soon as Jot saw Lios looking at the transparent bracelet that always seemd to be invicible to Jot, he cover in with his left hand.
"Jot, tell me everything that happed.."
Jot explained everything..
Ryoichi gated in, and he remembered almost immediately after the strange bracelet he had around his left arm. What is this... thing? he asked himself in his mind, as he gated out to delta hidden forbidden holy ground.
"Cubia..." Said Dark Blade solomley as the beast slowly ascended in front of him.
So what he had been told was true. But something wasnt quite right with the creature. From rumors and what parts of information he could put together, wasnt Cubia supposed to be some kind of purple color?
This ... Thing ... Was so dark, it was almost black.
"Maybe ... Maybe its not complete yet! Maybe i can stop it before it goes too far!" Dark Blade quickly ran over his list of skills and found what he was looking for. A new scythe skill, which, he assumed was given to him with the unsealing of the bracelet.
"NIGHT'S EMBRACE!" He yelled as he brought out the blackest scythe he had ever seen. The thing appeared to absorb the light itself. There was no mistaking the dark aura resonating off the weapon.
'Where did I get this thing?!' Was all he thought before ...
An enormous line of darkness issued forth from the scythe as it passed in front of Dark Blade. Slicing through the random pieces of stone in front of him like they were nothing the attacked continued to grow in size.
Sadly the sttack had no effect. The Beast countered with it's own attack. Dark Blade was overwheled and thrown back. Dark blade was knocked out but Cubia brought its attention from him.
After a thorough seach of the area again Darshe found nothing. "Man...I guess it really wasn't an event character.....maybe I should check the board again.."
Deciding to do just that he logged out and soon spotted the new post about the girl in white. "So someone else actually saw her too?"

Rika finished up the last of her math homework, and looked back at the forums. Lo and behold, there was a reply. She looked it over.

Maybe she only appears in fields that begin with Hidden, or maybe she's some kind of random monster. She looks familiar though, I don't know how, she just does. Darshe having been free the wholse day had nothing better to than than spend his time trying to solve the mystery. Though with no leads he was getting frustrated. To relax he decided to go to a lost ground the first one that came to mind was Hulle Granz which seemed to be an almost famous lost ground these days but seeing as the sorts of players who gathered in lost grounds usually had more information than others that was probably for the best... He gated in and noted something was off...but what? That he wasn't sure..but it just felt wrong he stepped inside the cathedral only to see the very familiar statue was missing "What the....?"
White Knight gated into /\ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, after everyone in town told her about the Statue of Aura inside the cathedral. She thought that this would give an answer to the mysterious glitch event character. She looked around the local as she headed for the giant door.
Nice place. Wiseman wasn't kidding. Wonder where he is now...
She opened the doors up, and went inside. She saw Darshe there, but noticed the statue wasn't.
Oh, what a rip off... came to see the statue, and it's not even here anymore...
She waved at Darshe
Hey, I remember you from the boards, you saw the girl too, right?
"NO!" Lenae screamed. She felt terror going towards Dark Blade.
"LENAE GET BACK!" Nemfora screamed! She turned to face him.
"Nemfora you do care," she looked relieved.
"NOW'S NOT THE TIME, MOVE!" Nemfora was to late. The shot was fired and he jumped in the way. Purple rings surrounded him streaming with data. He felt a terrible pain.
"NO!" Lenae screamed.
"Lenae," sighed Nemfora as he fell to the ground. "I will stay calm. I know I do not have long before I fall into a coma. Please I need you to get out of here now!" Lenae was struck with grief but she knew he was right.
"Goodbye Nemfora, I promise to bring you back!" Lenae stuttered crying.
She vanished in a white light just as a man named Renjishi Kenasaki
hit the floor of his bedroom. A solitary tear of blood went down from his M2D.
Darshe turned instinctively defensive but when he realised she wasn't a threat he relaxed. "Yeah. I finally remembered where I'd seen her before...but the statues gone...It was right there...on the altar covered in chains. Something like that doesn't just get up and move!"
" Who does he think he is relling me " Are you on halluciogans?" Seriously, the nerve of the guy, Im just gald Dad doesnt fire the creep!" said Jot pissed off. "I need to do my own investigation. TO HULLE GRANHZ!!!" said Jot excited for his new adventure.
Just as Jot warpd to the area, he felt thre burst of pain in his right wrist agian, but this time, it was terribly hurtful. " Why does this keep happening!" said Jot when he got to the area."I'd better go check it out!" Jot ran towrds the cathedral, but only to encounter two players. He approached them and said " Hello there, my name is Jot and I was just wondering, do you know anything about the missing statue?! Sorry to be direct, but Im kindda in a hurry?!" One of the player glanced at his wrist with the same eyes as Lios'. "Excuse me, why are you atraing at my wrist?" asked Jot uncertain of what he had now done.
Dark Blade had passed out but he did not sleep calmly.
"Where ... Am I?
'Hello? Excuse me. Miss? Do you mind if I sit with you?'
"Thats ... Me?"
'I'm Dark Blade. Dont let the name fool you though. I'm a pretty nice guy. So whats your name?'
'Aura? Thats an interesting name. So how'd you come up with it?'
"Aura? Whats going on?"
'Sooo ... You didnt come up with it?'
'Your father gave it to you? You mean you couldnt come up with a character name and asked him to think of it?'
"Thats right ..."
Dark Blade dreampt of how he had come to know the goddess of "The World"
"The day came when I heard an incredible story from Aura. At the time I just assumed it was her background story that she role-played to."
"But one day I saw her do something I had not seen even an admin do. She created an NPC on the spot. After this I grew scarred, and tried to stay away from her."
"I filled my days with soloing and anything i could think of to keep my mind off of her. I even stayed completly off the delta server to distance myself from the Hulle Granz."
'DIE YOU USELESS FOOLS!'
"In my mad attempts to stay away from her I started to become violent and slautered countless players."
"Once I had finally calmed down and realized what I had done. I found that there was no excusing it. That there was no way I could go back to her without seeing shame and disappointment in her eyes."
"But as it turned out. She found me. Not surprising when I really thought about it. She probably knew where I was and what I was doing the whole time."
'Do you feel better now?'
"I had expected something different from that tone, that smile. I was prepared for anger. Not understanding."

"I couldnt help it ... I just started crying."
"She hugged me. Not my character but me. I could feel her arms around my shoulders. I had never felt so comforted in my life. I vowed to protect her. I swore never to raise my hand to someone other than in defense of myself or another."

"Some friend I turned out to be. When she needed me most. I was not there. When I promised to never raise my hand in anger again. I did."

"Now Aura. I will find you. I will rescue you. I will not be afraid to cry. Aura, I WILL see you smile again."

Somewhat surprised by the sudden crowd Darshe looks from one to the other "My my....quite a crowd. You're all here about that? I didn't realise it would draw so much attention.I don't suppose anyone knows what happened to the statue here?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just removed, since it was speculated that the girl left, however... it could've been the girl who removed it." Ryoichi said plainly.
RykkuAlsheid looked around, then back at the empty pedestal.
The statue of Aura, right? My cousin told me everything about it... how does something that's chained to the walls get up and walk away?
She ran her hand along the rail, and looked at the inscriptions
Skeith... Innis... Magus... so this is where it started...
She seemed to be in some kind of peaceful state.

Somewhat surprised by the sudden crowd Darshe looks from one to the other "My my....quite a crowd. You're all here about that? I didn't realise it would draw so much attention.I don't suppose anyone knows what happened to the statue here?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just removed, since it was speculated that the girl left, however... it could've been the girl who removed it." Ryoichi said plainly.
RykkuAlsheid looked around, then back at the empty pedestal.
The statue of Aura, right? My cousin told me everything about it... how does something that's chained to the walls get up and walk away?
She ran her hand along the rail, and looked at the inscriptions

She seemed to be in some kind of peaceful state.

Dark Blade didnt know what to do. He hadnt felt this comforted since Aura had hugged him. He only could think of one thing to do. He hugged her back.
"Together then. We will find her."
Dark Blade noticed the small dragon next to her had one of it's eyes slightly open and that it was watching them. He pated the creature on the head.
"I hope to have your help as well little one."

((Nah man. Im a big RP person. I was just asked to do the recap so people could keep things straight withought having to go back and then forgetting something when you were posting about a previous portion of the RP. Plus alot of people hate going back over pages its nice to have alot of the story near the current front page))

Riku walked away since he wasnt being noticed and they didnt know anything about Aura so he assumed he didnt know anything about the other char. He went back to the root town thinking there wasnt much to do. Realizing he hasnt been playing much he went to a area of his choice and leveled to 87. After that he decided he needed to do something to figure out what was going on. He went to his house to think.

Nothung logged in for the first time in a long time, a couple of years actually. All of the people he had played the game with had quit shortly before himself. He had, however, maintained his account for The World he wasn't sure why he had he just had. The first thing that hit him when he tried to log in were a bunch of updates. "Ok, Ok, Ok, yes continue, no I do not want to download that. Just hurry up and finish with the updates." 20 minutes later. "How much longer is this going to take?! Huh, oh thank goodness. Finally. No I do not want to read the ReadMe just let me log in and play." He finally finishes logging in. Finally I was starting to wonder if it would ever finish. Well the place certainly does look somewhat different than I remember. An edge punisher runs into Nothung. "Hey watch where you're going!" What do you mean? I was just standing here you ran into me. A twin blade walks up. "Hey you better apologize for running into my friend." What are you talking about? He ran into me. If anyone should be apologizing it's him! The twin blade snickers and says. "It sounds like this guy wants to fight." The Edge Punisher responds. "Yeah it does, ok punk. Come to Delta Fly Away Daybreak's Bodhi Tree, unless you feel like apologizing right now. If it will get you to apologize then fine." "I'm not gonna be the one apologizing." The pair warp and Nothung follows.
Awaiting him are not just the pair from before but two blade brandiers, and two more twin blades. The edge punisher taunts Nothung. "You should have apologized when you had the chance kid. Get him." This could get troublesome. One of the Blade Brandiers charges Nothung but just before his attack strikes Nothung draws his blade with his left hand performing Vak Slash and causes about 30% of his health to disappear and the blade gets thrown backwards onto the ground with two searing gashes cut into his chest. The edge punisher barks. "You three go." The 3 twin blades charge at Nothung. He uses a burning oil lighting his blade on fire and then performs a BiVak Rom followed by a Vak Crack knocking 70% off of each of their healths. The first blade had gotten up by then and then the two blades and the edge punisher launch a combined assault on Nothung but he parries all of their strikes and is holding the Edge punisher's blade back when the three twin blades get back up. "Now!" "Vak Revolver." Nothung throws the edge punisher's blade back with a burst of flames and subsequently roasts, slices and dices all 6 of them several times. After the dust settles. Only the Edge punisher remains alive by a thread. "Who are you?!" You may call me Gram, the instrument of your demise. "Have mercy please." "His wrath undoes the wicked." "What?" Nothung finishes the edge punisher off. He puts his blade away and makes the sign of the cross in the air over their bodies, he then warps back to town. He proceeds to warp to Sif Berg. "At least Sif Berg remains the same."

White Knight just wandered around Mac Anu for a couple hours, killing time until she had to go to the hospital to see her sister. She had finally grown to level 10, killing so many monsters with Balmung's Sword. She sat at one of the piers, and looked into the water. The water effects were amazing, she could actually see her reflection in the water. She then looks up at the sky. Such cool looking graphics made the sky look just like the real world. She promised herself not to be taken in by a sense of liminality, but it was just so pretty to look at. She got up, and decided it was time to log out and go see her sister. Before she finished, she posted up a message on the boards to Darshe.
To Darshe:
I saw her again, in the dungeon you said you saw her in. Just thought I'd let you know.
Rika took off her M2D, grabbed her notebook about the Twilight Incident, and left for the hospital.

"Rumor.....rumor......rumor......." Going through countless threads on forums and fan sites. Darshe was getting pretty fed up with the multitude of absolutely absurd rumors, ranging from glitched npc's that give you real world money, all the way to demons and curses that turn you into all kinds of odd things....somehow it was all tangled up with the epitaph,Aura,The eight phases....the only thing he'd learned as solid fact was the nature of the eight phases or rather he pieced it together from various rumors and matching up the consistant parts.

The first he did when he warped within the area was fall over on his knees gripping at his wrist. The pain was starting to numb his right arm where the bracelet was attached to, it had started around his hand but then developed quite fast over a matter of days.

Of course, how could he forget his status at the time. PKing and PKKing was the issue. He couldn't ask for help since most people feared him or hated him. " Stupid.. " He whispered, standing up as he walked out into the town slowly limping as the bracelet glowed again.

She got into her sister's room, and logged onto The World.
White Knight gated into /\ Hidden Solitary Maiden, not wasting any time getting to the bottom. She sat down in front of the Beast Statue, waiting for her friend to show up.

"Well...more like ask. I remember you mentioned Skeith and a couple others....they're the eight phases of the cursed wave right? But...Somehow those things got in the previous version of the game. I was wondering if you knew what happened to them or if they were still in this version.....SomehowI get the feeling they're connected to Aura somehow. I came across an old forum post from the originalversion of the game...someone said they saw something that looked like what I figure Skeith would look like chasing Aura...Is it possible the eight phases are after her again? Or is it something else entirely?"
