Well since this is a place to ask questions of those who have played, so: Can you chance your other party members equipment any other way than giving them better weapons?
If there is a way then I haven't found it.... ^^;

Nope, though you can improve and customize all their lower equipment for no reason... I can easily see them adding this feature in the next game, it fits with the other things they're doing...

You mean you don't have Sakubo as a party member?

I have a question or two:

1) what are the requirments to do Haseo's brandish job extend and how long does it usually take?

2) does Haseo's weapons show that chainsaw characteristic when you use them? I could never tell from trailers.

Okay, thank you Kuukai.
I hope they will put that function in the Vol.2 but it goes quite well without it as well...

Level 22 or around there I think (and you have to be at a certain spot in the story). You have to solo a maze quest that you've done once before with your party. It took me like 10 minutes I think 'cause I was underleveled so I just Metal Gear Solid-ed it... (much easier with one character)

Some of them do. In that dungeon you'll get that sword from the opening.

How long is GU? I'm hoping it lasts at least as long as Infection and Mutation put together.

Well I gues it is quite long, I have only played 27 hours and doesn't seem to end too soon...

But anyway, has anyone beaten Doppelganger lower than level 50?
I just encountered him for the first time and I was at level 27 and he beat me in two hits ^_^; but I got revaived three or four times because I encountered a strange lucky animal.
That reviving didn't help at all though...

And he just walked in to the blue battle ring without any kind of warning when I was fighting trhee other monsters...and it was wierd to hear the usual batle music and after that the creepe Dopelganger. But how nice of him to just walk in to the battle rings without any kind of warning...this is the best encounter ever! :D

I've already seen posts from others who've said that statement turned out to be ****. I never really believed that they would make each installment 30-50 hour individual games, instead of a fairly short game cut into 4.

30 hours? Only if you enjoy doing everything at a slow pace - You can easily complete all 4 of the original series in 5-11 hours max, any extra time spent is time you decide to add.

You have to be level 20 for the job extend.

Thanks, for the info.

I have another question: What exactly is the doppleganger and why do you have to fight it?

The doppleganger is an ingame event, so it's not a Blackbox thing. It's something all players deal with like monsters and grunties.

Basically, if you stay in a field too long, a clone of your character will stalk you down and try and kill you, and if you beat it, prizes! :D

i like to dungeon crawl. I play as if i'm an actually playing 'the world'. i might check out a dungeon or two. i would change the dungeon area each time i went somewhere. by doing that little each day it feels as if you'rw actually playing an MMORPG and it feels different each time. its sort of fun. though i might want to watch my back when dungeon crawling in G.U.. i don't want my clone coming to kill me. you can run from battles right? i'm assuming you can(duh) and the doppleganger's stength. is he really that strong?

Then should I bow before you? 8)

As for the game, where do you first meet Kuhn and what level is he when he joins your party?

I don't know what level he was when you first get him, but you first meet him by the shining, white tree just after you first see Endrance. He's also the first instance of an Epitaph Wielder and fights off an Anna with his Magus Avatar.
