Few Questions for those who've played.

1) When you finish the game, do you get a data flag?

2) Does .hack//Vol4 data flag do anything to affect the game?

3) Does the Altimit OS still have customizable wallpaper / music?

to 1.) I got something that seems to be a dataflag, and I´m more than sure that you can import your chars + items in Vol2 because lvl-limit in Vol 1 is LVL 50 and 999 EXP. There was no specialdungeon at the end of Vol1, though...

to 2.) Can´t say anything about it, I never finished the old games; I´m still planing to do so, soon...

to 3.) yes, you can still unlock backgrounds, music and videos. As a little bonus, you can overlay a color on the background. I have a Haseo Wallpaper which I colored dark blue at the moment^^

2) I believe cleardata from any of the four games gets you an Another Birth sidestory novella. Data from fragment gets you an Udeden one.

1.) Yes. About the secret dungeon, there was one for me. I got the e-mail about it after loading the clear game save. Throughout the game, if you read all the BBS, you should come across, in a few dungeons, an annoying demon that talks a lot of nonsense and summons 3 imps to fight for him everytime. The secret dungeon is the final showdown with him(or rather, the giant monster that he summons).

2.) As someone said in another thread, short stories are unlocked for loading each of Vol.1-4 and Fragment saves.

3.) Yes.

Are these new stories or just parts from Udeden and Another Birth simply added in to explain certain things in the game?

This makes me wonder how people in the USA are going to get the extras from the Fragment data. We don't have that here.

It´s shortly after the start. You´ll begin when Haseo just started the game and you´ll play a "tutorial-field" with help of 2 players. Shortly after that you´ll meet Ovan, then it switches to 8 Month later when Haseo is allready a PKK. A few Movies later he get DD´d and is a lvl1 Char again, so you won´t be able to play as badass Terror of Death in part 1^^

New stories. I'm not sure if they're related to G.U. or not 'cause I don't have the game yet. They might just be like some of the stories in AIB2.

One of those field guys who looks like Gaspard seemed like a Harvest (in the field video)

Might have been female though, how can you tell? ^^;

Well then I'm out. But one more for me: does Endrance ever take the form of Macha, and if so, does the appearance of his avatar justify his title of "The Temptress" being in the feminine form (ie: does it look like a female avatar)?

An official CC2 trailer would contain spoilers? -_-'

I believe that screenshots and confirmed introduction to Piros the 3rd answer that question.

The questions I would like answered are...

1. Do any of the Avatars besides Skeith, Magus, Macha and Tarvos appear at any point in the game?

2. Do we gain any party members other than Atoli, Kuhn, Pai, Silabus, Gaspard, and Piros the 3rd?

3. Are there any other characters that have yet to be given names outside of the game? (For example; the girl seen in the arena in one of the latest trailers)

4. Is there any mention of the Roots cast? Sakisaka, Tabby, Naobi, Tawaraya, Ender, Phyllo, B set, Gord or Nasubi?

5. Are any of the GU characters confirmed as members of Guilds? (Outside those already confirmed)

6. Does Haseo join Carnard?

7. What is the purpose of Raven?

As you can plainly see, I have numerous questions, and I don't expect that every single one will be answered.

The preview for Volume 2 shows images of Ovan still with the seal over his left arm.

What I can answer:
- you´ll meet all avatar-characters, but the only ones you´ll "meet" in rebirth are Skeith, Tarvos, Magus and Macha.

- the mentioned Chars are the only ones you´ll get in Rebirth

- no PCs from Roots exept Haseo and Ovan made their appearence yet

- if Canard is the guild that Haseo is in at the moment, wie didn´t just join, he is the guildmaster, don´t ask me why xD

- no new infos about the seal at Ovans arm

Thats all for now. Sorry, can´t answer the rest, because my japanese wasn´t good enough to understand everthing about the story^^

Cyberconnect 2 lied us , because they said that the games of .hack//gu wasn't a continuated games , how the case of .hack infection , mutation , outbreak and quarentine . And the videos ruling on the net show us that .hack//gu 2 is a direct continuation of .hack//gu 1 because the max level is 50 and you don't fight with all the fases . . .

I am decepcionated . . .

Or you misread their meaning...

CC2 said that the GU series wouldn't be made up of replicas as was the case with the .hack games. In other words, there will be drastic differences between Rebirth and A Voice That Reminds Me Of You.

The GU series is a series specifically because the story follows on one after the other.
