dothack.com has been updated with a list of the Infinity Eight characters, while there is nothing new in terms of artwork or screenshots, it does have a handy summary of each character. While some of the information is old, there is confirmation of new facts that I can see.
Haseo: We all know this one. PKK, The Terror of Death, hunting for Tri-Edge and former member of the Twilight Brigade.
Atoli: Again, quite familiar. Member of the Second Platoon of Tsuki no Ki under Sakaki, she appears to reveer him. She appears to be relatively new to The World and eventually you and her work together.
Kuhn: An optimistic player with a surprisingly fierce need to protect peace within The World. Kuhn has a weakness for women which appears to prove problematic. Nothing new here other than confirmation that he was Guildmaster to Carnard.
Yata: We all know he is a System Administrator and Guildmaster of Raven. Though it seems that the players do not know of his administrative status or the Gate of Uroboros.
Sakubo: Very little I could make sense of here. Suffice to say that we already know that she is both Saku and Bo.
Endrance: Apparently the champion of one of three Arenas, Endrance appears to be very popular and has a large fan-base.
Pai: I could make out next to nothing here. There seems to be reference to her being an Adminstrator of sorts and has some sort of argument or fight with Haseo.
Ovan: Saves Haseo from PKs when he first logs in and acts like a master to him. Disappears without a trace and has only recently returned. Again, recorded as being very mysterious.
Sakubo and Pai are first priority in terms of a correct translation, as I found little that I could understand.
Kuhn's former Guildmaster status further supports the idea in my mind of Haseo becoming future Guildmaster. Not only does this prove that Guildmasters can be switched, but if Kuhn, former Guildmaster revered by the current members of Carnard, displayed a liking for Haseo, then it would further reinforce whatever claim to leadership he has.

Do you mean that Cathedral fight that's been in every trailer?VKV wrote:Well I only want to ask about the newest longest trailer, and the question is:
What does Ovan exactly when Tri-Edge comes in front of Haseo in the form of that strange Azure Flame ball thingy?
It just irritates me since it sounds like he is saying something important.
So I would be really greatfull if someone could tell me what he says there.
He's saying:
"Half a year ago, Shino was killed by Tri-Edge and didn't come back. In the real world, Shino's player is also unconscious. She's in a coma, cause unknown. That wasn't an ordinary PK."
Ovan doesn't, at least not there. The big explanation about AIDA is given by Yata.marthwmaster wrote:He definitely mentions "AIDA" at one point.

That's gotta suck for people that got beaten by AIDAs. But I'm also sure that depending on the power of the epitaph wielder, it could come that even he or she wouldn't have the strength to defeat an AIDA (for example Haseo's pulverizing), perhaps for some AIDAs, more epitaph wielders would be needed to defeat an AIDA. Unless their avatar form has enough power to defeat it of course.Kuukai wrote:Ok, that's Yata. He says:
"PCs such as yourself are known as 'epitaph wielders'. Only epitaph wielders have the power to oppose AIDAs."
the two charcters that where metion in vol 4 of the magazine have been put on the character section on the site as well. There are Kaede and Matsu. I believe Umbra was right when he said they were probly supporters of whichever Platoon Leader they were with. I wonder why they moved the @home movie till now?
oh and the monkey thing says hi

They are. Matsu (Pine) is the leader of the seventh division, and Kaede (Maple) leads the third division (Keyaki and Sakaki lead the first and second). Fitting with the custom followed by all that guild's leaders, they're both named after trees.Nenja wrote:i wonder if Kaede and Matsu are two of the seven leaders(or whatever ever they called) of Lunar Tree
