To get rid of the so-called "black box" is to eliminate the essential program behind the most successful MMORPG in history. Despite all the quirks of The World, there is one key fact about Harald's program: It brings in money. I don't recall whether this was clear enough in the translation, but AI Buster said that Harald's programs, the contents of the unopenable folder, were The World. Next to that, everything CC Corp had done was little more than what anyone in our time and world can do with shareware RPG-builder software. Unless and until they can write a replacement that's at least as good, CC Corp cannot afford to get rid of it, and let us not forget that Harald was a true genius programmer.

Not much in that last trailer. It's just recycled clips of Haseo and Tri-Edge at various points in the game.

Also, Shinsou Wotan's explaination about the impossiblity(or improbabilty) of CC Corp. deleting the black box goes hand in hand with mine.

Not to mention that deleting Harald's programs causes the game to stop working, so even if they did have a better method, they can't implement it.

maybe mixing the old game with one of there own is a way to give them more control but it might be an illusion. then everything returns to how it was before.

Ohhh! Thats a good one. If cc corp tried to augment parts of the core data with the stuff from the other game (in order to eventally phase out the blackbox folder) it could be that herald's AI's are trying to undermind cc corps attempts.

i think that is the only possible way to get around the black box. i mean you need the programming the box gives you and yet it gives the world a life of its own. if you can side-line the box sorta make it go into standby mode then the new program could give them more control. and maybe that is the reason no one could carry over their old characters bc they might contain some code that would nagate CC attempts.

You're making it seem like CC corp made the second game to control The World better. If you ask me, the only reason they spliced the two games together was because the former one was damaged, and the latter one was unfinished.

Yeah, the merging of the two games had nothing to do with the black box in regards to CC Corp. All I said was that the BB had carried over from the fusion and that it was possible that the AIDA's might be trying to access it.

The Black Box contains several key programs that are like the life support of the world. The box is undeleteable and is only accessed with a code only Herald knew. The Black Box contains a program that creates highly advanced NPCs such as Aura.

Well I only want to ask about the newest longest trailer, and the question is:

What does Ovan exactly when Tri-Edge comes in front of Haseo in the form of that strange Azure Flame ball thingy?

It just irritates me since it sounds like he is saying something important.
So I would be really greatfull if someone could tell me what he says there.
