((Wow! I guess I have to post long posts too now))
(kyo hid behind a rock and watched as the strange hooded knights wandered the hills and murdered a fellow PK who was hiding in a tree nearby) "What is this?" (Kyo said under his breath. He had thought this was going to be an easy kill! A large group of undefended noobs being slain by over 200 Pk's! but alas things were now how he had thought they were. kyo snuck out of his hiding spot and moved towards an unsuspecting party of 3 hooded knights. Kyo placed his sword at the ready and in a blur of motion 3 thuds were heard as the 3 troops died. Kyo decided it was time to play a fun little game. He moved through the bushes until he discovered a large group of the hooded guys. He moved into the open and made a loud noise to draw some attention to himself and waited)

Just then, Marth gated into Last Breathing Nothingness to see what all the fuss was about. He quickly found out what was going on by eavesdropping on a group of PKs who happened to be talking nearby. Apparently these PKs had banded with others in order to kill a bunch of new players, but hooded soldiers like the ones he had seen a minute ago were trying to put a stop to that. Their hoods were unlike his, and in the Wavemaster’s opinion they looked rather quite silly.
Right now, he was considering which army of cowards he was going to fight for. On the one hand were the cowards who took pride in killing the weakest of the weak, a practice that made him recoil in disgust, and on the other hand were the cowards who felt it was their duty to stop PKs from enjoying the freedom The World offered, namely by PKing them back. It was a futile effort to fight here: neither side shared his ideals, and he saw no way he could exploit the situation. In the end, he decided he would side with neither, and simply watch the battle from a safe position atop a nearby monument.

(OOC- umm, I think everyone got the wrong idea about my last post, the battle was intended as an into for the knights, I ended the battle with out telling any spefic details at the end of my last post, all I said was it just ended. but since you guys want to run with the Idea i'll edit the post to fit the story. However realize That I'm ending it right now. This was never ment to be a completely major event that involved everyone in the rpg. I planed on triggering such a battle later on, not right now. (oh yea and if you think the Ret. knights are funny, obviously you guys have never been involved in Runescape clan life.
) Now on with the story)
The charge of the knights had cut off the Pks from the low levels, affectively giving the players time to gate out before much damage was done.
“ Remember men! Don’t kill anyone who doesn’t attack you First!!!!”, ordered Fireblade reminding the knights of their orders and rules of engagement. Fireblade was now in the thick of it bringing down Pks with just one blow. His swords were, well: lets just say they weren't very common weapons. Even though he was only level 50, Fireblade had the stats of a level 80 due to the swords he carried. They were in fact that powerful, however it just wasn't the weapons that made him tough.
He had been studying martial arts and weaponry since a young age. He'd always been inspired by combat starting with Kari-tie in kindergarten to advanced to swordplay when he become older. The world just provided an out let. And he was enjoying himself thoroughly.
In the midst of battle a million thoughts ran through his mind.
---The PKs were ruining “the world” by continually killing low levels and other people, for no better reason then amusement. Although Fireblade was in fact killing players himself, he was doing it with the satisfaction that he was bring justice on those who killed just because they could. And although some might call this a fight futile, he knew better. Although Pkers just had to reload the game and log back in to kill again; what made it worth while was that for every low level player that escaped and was able to save some progress they would them selves become stronger. Then in turn be able to fight back.
Although it ran the risk of those low levels turning into Pks themselves. It was worth it because now players had the alternative to join the Ret. Knights if they so chose to do so, and even if they didn’t the Ret. Knights would continue to protect the weak.---
Coming back to the battle Fireblade found himself in a group of Retribution Knights perusing a group of retreating Pks. The PKs seeing they couldn’t escape turned to face Fireblade and his group. Out of the corner of his eye Fireblade barley saw movement. Reacting out of combat instinct he swung his sword back wards just in time to block a type of heavy blade in the shape of a katana. Fireblade turned to face the player who was holding the large sword; he was dressed in full white, had blue hair, but had red demonic eyes. Glancing to his right, Fireblade noticed three knights dead.
Glaring at the player he said, “You’ll pay for that.”
Staring straight into the other’s eyes Fireblade clenched his swords and read the other’s name...Kyo.
Kyo made the first move: he raised his sword above his head and brought it crashing down on the ground where Fireblade had been a second before. Fireblade had side stepped to the right just in time, he returned the favor by swinging at Kyo’s left arm. With the end of the sword still near the ground Kyo used the part of the sword closest to the hilt. He raised it and blocked the swing. Fireblade immediately swung with the left handed sword. Kyo simply shifted his weight and used the same technique to block this attack as well. Kyo then shifted his grip on the large sword and the stance of his feet. He did a complete clockwise spin aiming the sword for Fireblade’s feet. Fireblade was easily able to jump over the attack as it passed beneath. They stood facing each other. Fireblade took the opportunity to look around. The Ret. Knights had done their work, all the low levels were now out of the area, and any remaining PKs scattered. He looked back at Kyo and thought- Of all the Knights only the Legion Commanders can match me in skill, and only Faylin could easily beat me. She’s been fighting years ,even before I ever picked up a controller, she’s older in real life then the game implies. Yet here stands a fighter equal to my skill. Then Fireblade spoke, “I know your name now Pker, and you have no idea who I am. We’ll meet again I think.”
With that Fireblade raised his sword in the air and cried out loud, “Retribution Knights, GATE!”
And with that. All the Knights in the field vanished. The battle ended ,and as soon as the Knights got back to town they re-gated to the meeting field: there they effectively disappeared from sight.

((Oh.. I thought that the battle was going to be a good way to introduce the characters to each other))
(Kyo watched as the hooded Knights and the one he had just fought gated away from the area) "Cowards."(Kyo hated it when his opponents fled the scene of battle but in this case he could make an exception) "We'll meet again I think"(Morgoth said aloud as he remembered the warriors words) "Maybe I've finally found a proper opponent!"(kyo smiled his cold evil smile
and looked up at the sky. Maybe the world could get a bit more interesting) "Yo Kyo!" (A Badger like character with Golden armor walked up to kyo. The characters spear was dripping with blood) "Hey whats up Urthwyte?" (kyo looked at his only friend in the world. Urthwyte was Kyo's friend and next door neighbor. He was always cheerful while playing the world.) "Yo kyo! Lets go to Mac Anu! (Kyo Nodded and the two of them gated to mac Anu and walked down the street and stopped on the bridge) "Kyo! We need to find some jobs! Lets go find someone who will hire us!" (The two of them stood on the bridge scanning the crowd for some to hire the two of them for a job)
((Urthwyte's a bounty hunter and Kyo sometimes helps him))

Hikaru gated into Mac Anu and sighed wearily, taking no notice of the other players.
Tha was too close...One more hit and I would've been killed...Better not stay too long though... she thought and sighed again.
'Hikaru of The Divine Blades', PKK of 'The World'...A heavy title to hold, but she ignored those who thought of her that way.
A hacker and a PKK, a strange and unusual mix...But she didn't hack to make her character stronger or get more items, or to destroy 'The World'...but simply to get to a place where she could be alone.

(Urthwyte was dissapointed and it showed he turrned away from this ex-possible customer and after saying Thanks anyway he walked away)
"don't worry he's always like that"
(kyo walked down the street and pumped into someone near the chaos gate. This character seemed to be taking no notice of any other characters)
"Watch were your standing!"
(kyo called out angrily)

(OOC: Since people have started posting here again, I'll restore my character's intro. But seeing as you guys are making your posts really short now, I'll need a little time to decide how I want to adapt.
EDIT: Aww hell, who cares. I'm going to write the way I want to. Not gonna let anyone influence me.
)
From a high vantage point above the streets of Mac Anu, Marth sat ever watchful, and gazed sinisterly down at the city square. He sat precariously, literally above the square itself, his weight supported impossibly by the tip of his staff, which hung over the edge of the roof like a flagpole. His wavemaster profession allowed him to do things, such as defy gravity, that would be impossible to do in the real world, and when customizing his combat technique at each new level, he usually selected these types of skills over other, more mundane abilities. What was the point, he thought, of being a mere mortal in this game?
As both a healer, and a master of group PKing, Marth had the unique distinction of both preserving life and taking it away in The World, and he liked the air of mystique this paradoxical behavior created for him.
He saw a player who looked like she would make for interesting prey. Bearing a slight look of mischief, the wavemaster quietly descended through the shadows of the buildings, waiting for just the right moment to strike…

The moment Marth had waited patiently for had arrived. While Hikaru was busy shouting at the one who had bumped into her, the wavemaster dropped from above. He was plunging headfirst in her direction, but being a magician he wasn't worried about that right now, and began to cast a spell as quietly as he could. "Kandar shailen. Fendual tadedge. Rain down from the heavens: PhaRai Don!" The clouds above crackled with lightning and a bolt came down, directly through the caster's body, and targeted Hikaru below him.
Rain looked up surprised at the rapid change in weather. "i wonder what's going on?" she looked above a little confused she could see lighting and what seemed to be a slight figure of a person she looked over and saw Hikaru "what's going on?" she said again in a fright "Look out!" she yelled not knowing what else to do but hope the girl heard her
