The guards returned, their eyes carefully looking into the curtain. As they approached, they bowed in some respect. "We took care of the problem Platinum-sama, Pearl-sama." The two men remained bowing until they saw a slight movement that was in their favor. The festival at this point was rather over, or at least the public being allowed to enter for the time being. Pearl moved up first, following the attendants as she looked at Platinum. Why had she not said anything? At least in regards to who might be important in regards to who might have caused the disturbance. As she left, she noticed Platinum had not yet left.

"Bring the man who has been arrested here." She projected towards the two guards. "I have questions to ask of him."

Kirion: ( he's stripped of his staff and his belongings as he's tossed into a cell at the police station) hey wait a minute no you have the wro-

Officer: shut up!

Kirion: ah! I'm sorry! ( he sits down on the floor)

Shuria: well what are we going to do now the only person who would remotely bail us out would be sparrow but he was taken to the hospital

Kirion I have no idea...we could use magic to get out of here but I don't want to have to resort that... let's just wait to see what happens

Silvers padded outside a clean room a cup of coffee long since cold waited for him on the sill. Dr. Silvers wasn't a surgeon, but he could read an X-ray and had had to make a call when he saw his godchild's. The fall had done tremendous damage and it was evident should he survive Sparrow would never be able to ride like he used to, and they were still going to have to open him up for surgery anyways, so he used his power of attorney and pulled Sparrow out of the hospital and moved here to his employer's facilities and signed a waver. Silvers now waited for the surgeons to finish the installation there in the Cybernetics Connection Corporation's waiting room and prayed that he hadn't just killed his son.

Kirion: ( he leans back as he closes his eyes)

Shura: ( she sits beside Kirion and rests her head on his shoulder) so this is how people treat mages these days huh? As some kind of enemy they have no solid proof that your the one who summoned that dragon

Kirion: it's not like they have solid proof I wasent they took me under the assumption they were just probablly trying to be careful besides we get to sleep under a roof in how long...its no big deal I'd say we're alittle lucky? ( he smiles at her)

Shuria: I don't get it...you allways have that stupid smile on your face even after everything that happened...you know sometimes I wonder if things turned out differently if I wasent the black witch would you of still been kicked out of your hometown?

Kirion: probablly I was a real trouble maker you know even before we met I was allways getting into fights, staying out to all hours of the night and hanging out at the shrine even though the elder specifically said that noone should ever go there. What's with you all of a sudden?

Shuria: what I'm not allowed to think about these kinds of things?...idiot!

Kirion: what the hell was tht for?! I was just asking a question! ( th two decide to wait in the cell until somebody comes to bail them out)

In front of the cell, two guards appeared. They had a pin on that showed they were of a special nature. "Kirion Firefly and companion, you have been summoned to appear before Plantinum-sama." One spoke, motioning towards one of the police officers. The officers were confused on why she would have been aware of any arrest, but did not ask. The two were escorted out of the jail and brought into a car that was impossible to see into for anyone who might attack. The car drove, going into an underground garage. As the car stopped, the first guard moved towards the elevator, opening it up and motioning for the second guard to bring the two in a sense 'guests.' The elevator landed gently, the one guard allowing Kirion and Shuria to go in first. The curtain was down still, Platinum's shape still a shadow.

"I have asked you here to clarify something of importance, user of ancient magic in search of an important part of yourself." Her voice was going to Shuria as well, more so out of respect.

Kirion: Who are these people? Who ever lives here must be pretty important to have their own security force... umm well thank you for bailing us out of that jail cell I was worried we'd be stuck there forever but umm Where exactly are we?

Shuria: ....your a mage and a pretty powerful one at that. ( she looks to see platinums shadow in the darkness) well then if you have a question then you could ask away but I doubt we could really provide the answer your looking for..

Kirion: but how did you know I studied ancient magics?

The area changed, a traditional tea room now all the Kirion and Shuria could see. Platinum was sitting across from them, her hands in her lap. The tea itself would taste alright, but woudl not be remembered by the body as actual substance. "I am a dream seer. One has asked about you in regards to your goals. The commotion outside detained me from requesting your presence before you were arrested." She moved a the box towards them, though it was only a mental projection of his desires. "I will allow you to see what you seek in this box if you will explain what has occurred outside. I am forbidden to leave this basement."

Kirion: ( he looks at platinum confused at the girls appearance for the way she was speaking and her mannerisms he didn't expect her to look even younger then he did) your not allowed to leave this basement?....

shuria: why is that is there some type of magic binding you to this place?

Kirion: oh right what happened in short I was attacked by a Mage I don't know what his deal was he kept asking me questions he then used magic to bring this idol to life ( he places the dragon ornament on the table) with the help of another mage and a I guess he's a psychic we subdued the creature honestly though that's all I know...allow me to see what I seek huh?

"I have long forgotten the reason I am forbidden." She spoke, picking up the cup of tea with two hands gently. "This mage seeks something that you can provide. Thank you for what you can provide. I will report this to the officials so you both may be released. Your actions were not what summoned such a beast." She allowed him to look into the box, but did not speak again. She slowly allowed the vision to go away as the area changed. Shuria and Kirion were not looking at the curtain again that hid Platinum's appearance that they saw in the 'dream' they saw.

A leather belt on his waist with half the space filled with raven feathers he picked up with the time for "good luck", as a charm. And his cursed staff

Bio: Parents unknown. He was raised on a small village by an old man that taught him all he knows, one day he found about a staff that was supposedly cursed. The staff remained on a sanctuary guarded by the same man that raised morte. 3 months later Morte was kleft alone near the sanctuary because the old man had went to buy some stuff. Morte, tempted by curiosity opened the place and found the staff atop an altar, walked in and took it; this lead to his curse and his mind breaking. He killed all the people in the small village and ran away, some time later he found someone that helped him suppress the curse and has been living with it up to now.
Currently surprised by the apperance of a dragon in a nearby city, so he decided to head to the site of the -incident-

Shuria: wait a moment your such a gifted seer you can actually show us this? Just who exactly are you? I only met one other seer this gifted

Kirion: umm anyway thank you for the hospitality may we come back again?

Detective:( at the scene of the crime where the dragon appeared he lights a cigarette) ahh jeez what the hell kind of mess is this. A dragon really in this day and age yeesh just imagine the paperwork on this

Spirit: ( flys over to illis) hey! Your a Mage right?

The shadow moved slightly, her gesture signifying not only here regret at telling them 'no' in some way, but also her knowledge that she could not interact with the outside world. The guards moved, motioning for Shuria and Kirion to enter the elevator. As it went up, the guards spoke in a rushed, but not too rushed tone. "Your belongings will be in a container next to the front desk. Do not squander Platinum-sama's intervention."

"I'm sorry, officers, but my son can't get out of bed much less answer your questions right now. He was underneath the crane when it fell and hasn't woken up yet." Dr. Silvers said to a detective outside of the room Sparrow lied in. "Mr. Silvers" "Doctor." "Right, DoctorSilvers, you are aware that Mr. Bradley has a history of criminal activity such as destruction of property and-" "Not on this scale. King might race his bike against other people, and occasionally he'll crash it, but he would never intentionally do anything to hurt anybody." "What about the time he hospitalized a man with a chain?" "That was self-defense. Or did you miss that part of the file?" "I'm sure. I'll send over a couple of uniforms to keep an eye on him and let me know when he wakes up." The detective said as he left.

Silvers sat down next to Sparrow's bed with a long sigh. A voice came out from his phone. "So, you went and decided to use me as a guinea pig?" Silvers looked at his phone and Sparrow's picture was on it, he set it down and looked at him. "It was that or you never get to "fly" again. What happened out there anyways? The news is giving reports of dragons, hallucinogens, terrorists, and somebody got a rather good picture of you crashing your bike into a crane and has given it to the police and all of the news channels." "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. I barely believe it and I was there. But I will say that I didn't wreck my bike on accident and I think things would have been much worse if I had not done what I did." "Ok. So, why are you talking to me through a phone when we're in the same room?" Sparrow finally opened his eyes, looked over at his godfather, and choked out, "Because... everything... hurts." Silvers smiled sadly and gripped Sparrow's hand comfortingly.

Kirion: hey no wai- ( and before he can get a word in edge wise he was escorted out of the building) can I atleast get directions to the hospital?...*sigh* I'll find it I guess come on Shuria ( he walks off with Shuria and before long he arrives at the hospital and he walks over to the clerk) this is where they take people who are hurt right?

Shuria: yeah I believe so here let's ask this girl if she knows where we can find him..( the two walk over and try to figure out where sparrow is)

Kirion: I just realized we never got his last name how are we supposed to find him?!( he begins asking around as word of a strange man looking for sparrow reaches doctor silvers)

Spirit: ( floats over to illis) hey miss your a Mage right?

"Who is looking for him? A red haired guy in a dirty suit?" "Where is this guy?" Sparrow's voice came through the phone to the other end." The guy on the other end replied, "He's at the hospital." "Ok, thank you for letting me know." Answered Dr. Silvers and he hung up the phone. "Friend of yours?" He asked as he looked at Sparrow, still lying in bed and hacking away with his brain. "Maybe. Yeah, that's Kirion. The wizard." "Yes. Wizard." "Vance, I'm not moving at all, and I am currently accessing the hospital's computer systems, the city traffic grid, planting a machine sprite in a car, modifying the movement privileges of an intern named Phil, and forging an official email to said intern. Yet the prospect that magic could be real is beyond your acceptance?" "King, I live in a world of science and technology and what you can do is clearly just the next step in human evolution." "Are you saying that because of the gene modifications the two of you did to me when I was developing?" Dr. Silvers turned wide eyes on Sparrow, "How do you know about that? We deleted all of the data. There were no records." "The resonance never truly forgets anything. Anyways, I'm bringing Kirion here, don't do anything offensive when he arrives." "Afraid I'll embarrass you in front of your friends?" "No, I just want you to keep an open mind."

Over the intercom at the hospital in the area Kirion was in came Sparrow's voice, "Kirion, there's a car waiting for you." Some of the staff looked up at the speaker in confusion. The overhead lights strobed off and on to lead Kirion out. And waiting for him was a very expensive looking white car with no meat body driver but it was possessed by a machine sprite that would take Kirion to the CCcorp. building, without ever hitting a red light or any patches of bad traffic, where a very young and somewhat confused intern Phil would escort him to Sparrow's room.

Platinum was in the large preparation and bedroom as Pearl waited. She wondered why she had been kept out of the conversation. She watched as the maids gently placed the clothing into a place where it would not wrinkle. After being sure that the bedding was placed out, she attempted to speak. "May I ask what happened out there?" Her voice was soft, not sure how the other woman would react.

"I have taken care of the rather large matter outside. Calm yourself and focus on your duties for tomorrow." She slowly lay down using one hand to guide the blanket above her body. It was a familiar ritual, one that she had done so often that she had forgotten why it even started.

Kirion: ( he sits in the car)

Shuria: so where exactly are we going?

Kirion: I'm not sure maybe this car is taking us to sparrow? Or hopefully a free meal, shower and change of clothes ( they soon arrive at the ccorp building) okay so where to now hey mysterious sparrow voice over the electronic speaker! Where do we go now? ( he walks over to the receptionist) uhh hey I'm a looking for someone but I don't know his last name?...

Shuria: what would he being doing in a place like this?

She looked up from her computer and gave Kirion a "Then you really shouldn't be here and you smell of blue collar" look, but pasted a smile on her lips anyways and said, "I'm sure we can manage something. What is his first name and what department does he work in?" Her tone of voice seemed to imply that she thought janitor would be a likely first choice.

A scrawny guy who looked like he might be able to drive walked up to Kirion. "Um, Mister Firefly?" he glanced down at his phone, "I I mean Doctor. Doctor Firefly I'm-" He was cut off when his phone beeped at him. His eyes widened. "Sorry, Mr. Kirion, sir. Right this way." Phil led him to an elevator bank, scanned his keycard by a scanner to call the elevator and then inserted it into a slot before he pressed a button, it blared at him, he checked his email again, and pushed a different buton. When they were finally moving he turned to Kirion, but kept his gaze down at the floor. "Please don't report my incompetence on not meeting you at the door or calling you by your preferred name or the elevator thing to Doctor Silvers. I was just informed shortly before your arrival and I-I." His blubbering was cut short as the elevator opened, a balding overweight security guard looked up from his coffee, let out a long sigh as he put his mug down and sauntered over to intercept them. "I need to see some I.D.." "Oh, right, sorry again. I kind of forgot to pick his pass up. He's here to see Doctor Silvers." The security guard sighed, "Stay put, I'll check." He lumbered back to his desk, checked something on the computer, grabbed a badge from under his desk and handed it to Kirion. "Straight through their doctor, last clean room on your right." Phil started to scoot past but the guard put a hand on his shoulder, "Not you, your badge gets you elevator access, not run of the floor. Oh, and doctor, you can go anywhere you like, on this floor or the first one, but that's it. Be careful you don't wander."

Dr. Silvers stood up and waved Kirion in when he came into view. The doctor wore a lab coat, a crumpled black Yamaha polo, slacks, and white tennis shoes, his hair was a short gray disheveled mass, and he clearly had not shaved in at least a week, and though there were bags under them his azure eyes seemed quite alert. He remarked, "The wizard, I presume." Sparrow's.voice chided from the phone's speaker. "Play nice, Vance." He waved the comment off and extended his hand to Kirion. "Yeah yeah. Dr. Vance Silvers, cybertech researcher, and King's father." "Godfather." Dr. Silvers sighed at the correction, "I was expecting the first person to come looking for him would be a girl, or maybe even bike. You didn't happen to bring one of those with you?" He looked around half expecting a motorcycle to come crashing through a wall.

Kirion: doctor....I don't remember getting a cool title like that umm i dont see why phil cant come with me but okay... it's not like I bought a girl or anything ( it almost looks like he gets punched in the stomach as he collapses but he stands back up as he coughs) I mean yeah I guess I brought one of those things I doubt sparrow will be excite though I'm a friend well sort of atleast

Shuria: hmph looks like this guys isn't very fond of mages huh...

Kirion: hey come on now..anyway I'm Kirion I guess I am what you call a wizard of sorts so your sparrows father? It's nice to meet you sir umm is this some kind of special hospital? I came to apologize to sparrow for the whole mess before

Shuria: even though he chose to go through with that dangerous plan ....

Dr. Silvers looked at Kirion with mixed concern and wariness, but before he could say anything Sparrow angled his seat up and said, "Why don't you give us a few minutes, Vance. Go get some coffee or whatever." Dr. Silvers sighed, "Yeah yeah, it was... nice to meet one of King's friends. He's alive, so it's ok, but you let him do something stupid like that again and I will bury you. Have a nice day, Mr. Wizard." Dr. Silvers trashed an untouched and now cold cup of coffee on his way out.

Sparrow had an IV in the back of his hand, an ekg blipped steadily next to him, and he wore something that looked like a black diver's suit with the CCcorp. logo on it's chest to help hold his heavily stitched body together.

Sparrow watched Dr. Silvers walk out of sight and then turned to Shuria, "Sorry you had to deal with that, he doesn't believe in magic. Would probably insist that Kirion leave and think the drugs were making me see things if I started talking to you. And you weren't exactly throwing out any better ideas." He turned his head to face Kirion, "And yeah, he's my dad, more or less. Hope you didn't mind the whole cloak and dagger thing for getting y'all in here, I didn't have a lot in the way of options since this is a CCcorp. research building and they don't exactly allow visitors to their super secret projects. Vance is an exception since he designed half the stuff they put in me and officially he's checking for successful integration. Anyways, I've got two questions." Sparrow pulled himself up and swung his legs off the bed, slowly flexing his toes. "Firstly, how did that lizard end up in downtown?" He pulled the IV out of his hand and removed the EKG leads, the machine did not seem to notice. "And secondly, will there be more?" Sparrow pushed himself off the bed, and winced as the vibrations ran up his legs. "Actually, before you answer either of those things, can you do anything to make sure my stitches don't tear? I don't want to be resigned to bed rest any longer than I have to be." He sat back down on the edge of the bed, oddly it seemed to strain a bit under his weight.
