Avalon Academy: Tales of Sorcerers(Open RP)

Auroch smiled happily, "I offer up etc." He stated and zoomed off to the field. "Good news, we have a fifth." He declared as he arrived. The two pixies flew over to his ears before vanishing. "You're quite right, Theodore Edelbach.Everybody else is gathered in the great hall, but the great hall is boring. It's all pomp and circumstance in there, and Professor Ibrahim knows I have to participate, he'll probably just chalk my tardiness up to me being a rebellious youth or think I've had a hard time locating a fifth or maybe he'll just say I'm crazy and move on, it doesn't really matter and besides we have more important things to do than stand around and listen to him yack. We need to clear the air of any secrets and figure out what we all can do. You can call me Rock and I just turned 13. I specialize in defensive magic, my black rite is called God's Word, essentially it lets me respond to threats faster." He held up a white key, "These are foci for my strongest spell. It should create a nigh impenetrable curtain of sorts if we need to buy time for some heavy duty magic or if we want to isolate hostiles so that we can chop them up piecemeal. Like so. Whit keys, I call upon thine divine power, seal the gate." The dozens of thin blades shot up into the air all around them forming a cylinder, the meters between the blades became filled with shimmering faint white light, but on the outside the light was blinding. After a few seconds, "Unlock!" The light faded and the blades rushed back into his quiver. "Now then short callsigns, anything you'd like to declare, and summary of abilities, go."

[Zorolo]

Zorlo looked at the overgrown field as he drew his sword and took his breath. "You humans and your planning disgust me. My name is Zorlo, my moniker is the Green Flame Wraith, and if you get in my way, I'll reduce you to more burnt pieces than this grass!" Zorlo said as his sword flashed from his sheathe and began to dice up the tall grass. Green flames licked the blade of the sword and quickly consumed the tall grasses as the Elf slowly turned the training area into a clearing, rather than what WAS a clearing. "That, and I strive for mastery of the sword. If you don't want to die, make sure nothing kills me and we'll be square."

Tatsumi: but wait if your killed by something how would you go about killing us?...never mind I'll just be surprised...( he takes a deep breath as he takes off his glasses) I'm Tatsumi Izanagi ( he removes his uniforms blazer as he unbuttons his sleeves and rolls them up as the wind around around the field becomes still and calm) I guess I'm a wind master ( he jumps into the air as he soars high into the sky and he flips almost like he's surfing with the wind he then lands) My style is that of an ancient martial art combined with the use of magic I don't like to talk about it but I'm a type 1 class 2 fighting demon.....( he picks up his blazer) atleast that's the title I was given. ( he walks over to a practice dummy) I can show you if you truly want me too?

Flipping through the air above them, Kanna swung down seemingly on invisible cables and landed lightly in a small burst of wind & leaves. "...this is... everyone...?" she asked in her normal manner. But now, the slim Elven girl was hugging a strange, thick Grimoire with several dark & chaotic sigils on its cover. A new person as well... she thought to herself, looking Theodore over before looking back to Auroch. "Auroch... I'm going to use my focus now...So I shouldn't kill any of you," she said to him.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo rested Lumina, the only person here he knew wasn't expendable (as a reminder, Lumina is his sword), and looked at the girl. "By the gods, scraping the bottom of the barrel I see. Although I guess the flying one will be useful as a meat shield. Just need him within monster blocking distance," Zorlo muttered mostly to himself, not that the others couldn't hear his quite loud query. "And I'm sure no one will miss the imperial either."

Zorlo stroked his cheek quietly as he stabbed his sword into the ground and took a deep breath before exhaling green flames that washed away any other greenery down to the dirt and gravel below. "Now then, like Faust's agreement with a devil, I think I'll have to agree to not indirectly or directly lead to all of your deaths. Something tells me that would be detrimental for some reason," Zorlo stated as he looked deep in thought. "Anyway, human lac-... leader person, what's the plan?"

Tatsumi: ( he leans against a tree as he puts his glasses back on) I wonder though the key to making this work is teamwork and cooperation no matter how strong we all are individualy if we don't work together were as good as dead and mr.swordsman over there doesn't seem so interested in as working with us so much as using us.[\i] *sigh* ( tatsumi sighs as he looks to see Kanna arrive) hey I met you yesterday so this is everybody? ...I personally think Auroch should lead us he may be the youngest but he's definitelly the smartest one here if anyone can make up a plan it'd probablly be him

"But what exactly is his plan? He called us out here and there's nobody else here but us" said Theodore, for some reason, he felt he had just wasted his time staying there, but he's not about to go back to the bastard Ibrahim.

"Oh you're forgetting about me" said a voice, Theodore turned around to see Scarecrow, "Been a while, Theodore" said Scarecrow, "Yes, how's Elizabeth doing?" asked Theodore, "fine, she's staying at my place while the empire is studying her, not to worry, I made sure they treat her humanely" said Scarecrow, "I thought you were going to watch over the students at the trials?" asked Theodore, "That's why I have two assistants, that and there are others, the real reason I'm here is because of you Theodore" said Scarecrow, "I know, can't let a walking superweapon go around freely eh?" he said, these two know each other, since Theodore escaped the Belkan Federation, Scarecrow has been his guardian, friend and brother.

Schwarzesmarken, for some, they are a name to know, a name to fear...... Two of its members, one female sorcerer, and one armed woman were overlooking Avalon academy and saw trucks leaving, "So, they've finally left" said the sorcerer, "Our time has come, for many years, we prepared, we grew stronger, while you all rested, in your cradle of power, believing your people were safe, and protected,",said the woman to herself, as they approached the academy, armed soldier stopped them, the academy was guarded by the grand army of the kingdom of Weisshaupt to prevent rogue sorcerers from attacking, the sorcerer manifested a sword from a gem in her hand and attacked the soldiers, before they could fire their weapons, they were all finished, they entered, only to encounter Sorcerers, they weren't Cerberus, but they were seniors, the sorcerers attacked the two, only for the armed female to open fire with a sub-machine gun, the Sorcerers dodged the shots, but left themselves open for the female sorcerer to attack at close range, this continued on until the sorcerers were finished, "you were trusted to protect the kingdom, but you were deceived,as our powers have blinded you, you assumed no force could challenge you, and now, finally, we have returned", continued the woman, she looked at the corpse of their leader, on his shoulder patch was 'Rot squad', "you were deceived, and now your kingdom, shall fall".

"Miss Bernhard, the rest of the attack force is on standby, should I tell them to begin surrounding the academy?" said the armed woman, on her back was a bulky device, a radio, "yes, but tell them to only secure the perimeter, I don't want to cause panic, make sure they have their disguises on" said the woman now known as Bernhard, "we know you're here, Ys" said Bernhard, they had a primary objective the acquisition of Ys, but a secondary objective exists, to destroy Avalon academy.

Tatsumi: ( he looks at Theodore) I know it's really weird huh? Whatever it is if I had to guess Auroch wants to get a game plan ready before we take on the trials. Doesn't hurt to prepare right...although Auroch may also just be insane ( he laughs jokingly as he sees scarecrow) oh hey your from yesterday Mr. Scarecrow right? ( he suddenly feels a ominous presence) Whats this feeling all of a sudden The wind changed....is there a storm on its way? ah sorry for spacing out pardon me for asking but do you two know each other?

Auroch thought for a minute, "I thought I explained it. I did, didn't I? Callsign, yes, declarations, yep, and summary of abilities, yeah." He turned towards Theodore, "In short, a very short practice sess-" A butterfly landed on his ear, "...sion." Auroch blinked, traced his earlobe and cast a spell to boost his sense of hearing as he stared towards the academy, birds were flying up and away. "Before we can come up with a strategy we need to know what everybody's strengths and weaknesses are." A black book appeared in his hand a second later and Auroch was double checking something he had written. He shut the book and sat down with his hand on it, mumbling softly to himself, "Stage one."

The boy released his hearing spell and summoned up a handful of pixies that matched everybody's primary colors, even one for Scarecrow. They moved to accentuate his words. "Zorlo Amaranthine, you're Z role front guard. Tatsumi, Tatsu, anything that gets past Z kill it, you're the only one likely able to keep pace with him. Kanna, well you're Kanna of course, you'll be back here striking with long range magic and herding them into Z and Tatsu, I'll be with you to make sure while you're hammering them you don't get sniped. And Theodore Edelbach, Teddy, at the very least tell me what kind of ARM you use? Can you be rear guard? Are you a medic? Are you artillery? Do you specialize in summoning? Do I need to make you a weapon and establish a safe word for everybody to hit the deck for when you start casting because you have no control of your abilities? What the hell can you contribute?"

Auroch withdrew a vial filled with a blue liquid and topped with an eye dropper. He whispered an incantation that caused minute particles in the liquid to glow. He withdrew the eye dropper and put a drop in either eye. He blinked several times as a magic circle appeared within his retina and then faded. He tossed the vial to Kanna. "You remember my status spell? It's working properly now." He turned to the others, "Put a drop in each eye. It'll let the rest of us know your location and condition so that should you get disabled the rest of us can cover you until I can apply some healing. Should last a few hours."

[Kaori]

"Me? I'm an Elemental Storm Vanguard, I can engage the enemy at close range, I don't do so well with ranged" replied Theodore, "ted is just fine though by the way Tovarich" he added, "you sure you kids don't need old Scarecrow?" asked Scarecrow despite receiving a fairy.

"So what about the other Sorcerers? The ones who just left?" asked a man talking on a radio, "they'll be occupied with the distraction we set up for them" said Bernhard on the radio, "you and your men simply surround the building, Colonel Gurlukovich", with that, Colonel Gurlukovich got his men to surround the academy, all of them wearing the uniforms of the Grand Army Of Weisshaupt, however, rumbling noises can be heard, behind Colonel Gurlukovich were tanks and jeeps, all mobilizing to attack the heart of Weisshaupt's Spell Corps, Avalon Academy.

"Another Vanguard, perfect. Well you have the most important job, rear guard. Anything comes at us from behind it's on you to eliminate it and if we retreat you're the one who's going to be covering us." And finally he turned to Mcleod, "Scarecrow. I need you to be a ghost." The pixie representing him disappeared behind Auroch's hand. "You'll be going after high value targets while we distract the main enemy. That is assuming, of course, I'm not crazy and somebody really has decided to steal my evil overlord plan." He summoned up a few dozen more pixies and then showed them a page from his diary. "Go find out if this is what's happening. If not tell me what is happening. And don't be seen." They dimmed their auras and zoomed off practically invisible.

The boy summoned up a crude model of the school and it's surrounding area as well as some tiny soldiers and tanks. "Ok, here is what I think is happening back at the school. I heard gunfire earlier, but that on it's own isn't exactly hard evidence. And everybody keeps saying that I'm crazy, hopefully I am, but if I'm not I sent the pixies. A small task force was sent in to clear the way for a larger one, dealing with any resistance that was left behind when the combat jumkies all went off to take the trials. They probably used gunfire to herd the fighters into sword range, exactly like what I want you to do Kanna, where they take advantage of what is most noncom sorcerer's weak point close quarters fighting. The goal is to chop off the enemy's magical legs, and score some young impressionable minds for your own devious ends if possible. The larger force that will be arriving shortly is probably going to consist of enough people to form an effective perimeter and mobile armor to gank the fighters when they come back already exhausted from their trials."

"Our first priority is to chop off one of their legs, the majority of the force probably can't do magic, which means they'll be relying on guns, and guns have one major weakness. Any guesses? That's right, they need bullets. Which is where this spell comes in." He showed a spell diagram to everybody, "It takes a little time and is kind of exhausting, but with this many elementally gifted people it shouldn't be too much for y'all to handle while I make this a sealed room with my swords and thus make the spell viable, it causes all of the gunpowder in an area to cook off, and it also raises the temperature very high, but only for a short period of time. We'll be protected, since we'll know it's coming, but in addition to removing the majority of their firearms they'll suffer heat exhaustion which will reduce their performance. Scarecrow, plant these on as many of their tanks as you can." He took off his jacket revealing dozens of potions on the inside and he pulled of a bunch of them, put them in his old bandolier and handed that to Scarecrow. "They go boom when magically charged. Then I need you to go get Cerberus and bring them here to save our skins while we try to stay alive since once my spell goes off they'll be hunting us. As soon as possible we move, we can't let them hem us in, if they try we punch through with extreme prejudice. We'll start working our way to this point via this route. It's a disused underground tunnel complex entrance, which we'll collapse behind us so that while they're looking for us here we'll be hiding over there, where we'll use this" pointing to the circle on the inside of his jacket, "to activate a terracotta army underground and wait for the soldiers to ride in so that we can hit them enemy from multiple sides." The pixies started to return at this point. "Any questions?"

Tatsumi: one wrong move and were dead...this plan it feels like I never left the Izanagi house I only noticed the intruders a little while ago and he was able to make up a plan he really is a genius so we can't hold back otherwise were dead and one wrong move were dead? .....Out of curiosity how long did it take you to come up with this plan?

"The basic counterstrike plan? About a week." Auroch shrugged, "I took my dreams of becoming a dark lord seriously. All of the research necessary to pull this off still took months to complete."

Tatsumi: so you seriously plan on conquering the world...well allright then I'm in we are abit out numbered though granted the chances of succeding are pretty high. we may be abit out matched but wait hold on what about the "combat junkies as you call them" are we moving out during the trials?

"I'm pretty sure Professor Ibrahim decided to leave without us. Otherwise whoever is attacking is trying to fail. Wait. What? No. I don't want to conquer the world, but in my dreams I did and one of Scarecrow's subordinates stabbed me."

[Zorolo]

"Hehe. Well, little human, your plans is just what the doctor ordered I guess. Perhaps I should make a distraction... I prize myself on the fact that defenseless humans can't actually harm me. We'll ambush them and collect their heads as prizes for ourselves," Zorlo stated as he spun his sword and smiled. "Let us prepare to take out their guns and then themselves... hmm... is there anyone from the school we should save or try to save though? I feel like you humans are oddly sentimental. Make sure you've said your goodbyes to important folks before they're all splattered," Zorlo said with a sadistic laugh as his eyes began to glow. "I can't wait!"

Tatsumi:.... but how will the rest of the students get out? ( he looked at zorolo and couldn't help but be reminded of his own past allways looking for a stronger opponent allways filled with excitement when faced with a strong enemy showing no regard these feelings were normal for a fighting demon but Tatsumi changed).....keep thinking like that and you'll die

[Zorolo]

Zorlo laughed as he paused. "Hmm... that human... that one that said it would help me or whatever... I guess I owe that person something. It was nice enough to offer to help me even though I'm... somewhat discourteous. What was its name, meat-shield?" Zorlo asked Tatsumi as he looked at the sky. "I can't kinda remember something about its hair and figure... but I can't fill in the face or name. I think it was important to its people... perhaps a noble?" he asked, reflecting on it. "Well, when I recall what its name was and what it looked like, I think I'll go help it... probably."

"He knew nothing" said Bernhard, her jewel sword was covered in blood, "Inghild, destroy the office" she added, "Yes Irisdina" said the armed woman a few moments later after the two had left, the office of the headmaster exploded.

"Right, get Cerberus" Said Scarecrow, he was running across the rooftops, he knew where to find them, The white line, but to get there, he had a long way to go, probably five hours at the least would he make it there, as he continued to run a shot rang out, he fell off the roof unto the ground, he was bleeding, the potions Auroch gave him were now useless as their contents spilled across the ground, he then found himself surrounded by soldiers, more shots rang out.

"too bad we had to kill her, she was a looker" said a soldier, next to him was another soldier, they were both dragging a dead body, it was Scarecrow's, however, his shirt was open to reveal something, a bandaged torso, Scarecrow was not a what he said he was, "wanna try it?" asked the other soldier, "No way! I'm not doing it with a dead body!" replied the soldier, "Come on? What's a few bullet holes to you?" said the other, "her eyes are still open, kinda creeps me out" said the other, "look, lets just take a peek then, we don't have to touch her, just one peek" said the other soldier, they then proceeded to strip her body, "I don't know, we're practically desecrating the dead" said the other one, both of them stared at her body, she was actually well endowed, and shaven as well, "why did she have to hide those things? That's it, I'm doing it", "You can't be serious?!", "why not? If you don't like it then you can get back to your post, she's still warm, so I'm gonna have some fun", with disgust, the first soldier left the other soldier, as soon as he made sure he was gone, the other soldier grabbed her leg, only for him to get kickec in the face, "what the?!" before he could react, he found the corpse on top of him, it proceeded to strangle him, as soon as the soldier was dead, Scarecrow sighed, "bollocks, I need some clothes" she looked at the dead soldier and sighed again, she put on his clothes and took her equipment, which consisted of her 3DMG, and her Black key sheaths, which were on her when the soldiers had stripped her, she also took the Soldier's submachinegun, "Right, to the white line" she muttered, she then used her 3DMG to swing past the trees.

"did you hear that? It sounded like an explosion" said Theodore.

Auroch took a deep breath, "Enough talk. Get to work, all of you. The clock is ticking, the more time you waste, the more people are going to get shot. The spell you four need to complete is heavy lifting and will take a concentrated effort to complete." Auroch carved the necessary magic circle into the ground for them with his swords and then knelt down in his own smaller circle a little ways off so that the magics didn't interfere with one another. He also buried something in the ground. Auroch hadn't answered the question regarding the other students, primarily because he didn't like the answer he would have given. He grew tense as he watched Scarecrow's progress, the plan mostly fell on the inquisitor's escape, he finally let himself relax a little bit as he got out of range. Minutes later the spells activated, Auroch launched all of the swords up and away and they formed a shining barrier surrounding the multi-kilometer radius. Practically at the same time a miniature sun appeared overhead of the others, all of the ammunition in the area, hand grenades, other explosives, and the potions Scarecrow had lost exploded spectacularly. The bullets and explosions caused injuries all over and a lot of the soldiers became dizzy or straight up fainted from the blast of heat.

The spells only lasted a few seconds, but they left everybody feeling fairly well wiped. Auroch dug up the handgun and two spare magazines he had buried a moment before and slid them back behind his back as he approached the others. "Ok, good work. Now we have to move." Even though he said that Auroch was leaning against a slightly blackened tree for support. He looked sadly at his now empty quiver, the swords were supposed to be foci, not material components, but given the scale he needed to cover and the amount of fire they had thrown at it in the short time it was active they were all gone. Well, almost all. As he pushed off the tree a single white key landed at his feet. He picked it up and started moving. "I know everybody's tired, but they'll be here sooner than we'd like, and I'm sure some of them are sorcerers. Z, follow the yellow brick road." On cue, yellow bricks appeared in his vision guiding him to the old tunnel entrance. "Ted, remove any trace that we were here and obscure our trail if you can." I hope they saw the light show and have the good sense to mobilize so that Scarecrow doesn't have to run as far, nor as long.
