Avalon Academy: Tales of Sorcerers(Open RP)

"Alright, take a seat then" said Professor Bremer, Stella Bremer was known to be both beautiful and kind as a teacher, Ilfriede noticed that all boys were fascinated by her bust, she could see how intently Wolfgang looked at them, Professor Bremer went back to her lesson on why Sorcerers were needed, "Sorcerers, besides slaying monsters, also contribute much to the modern world, there Sorcerers who cast lightning based spells in power plants to provide us with electricity, those who serve in armies, as researchers who experiment with ways how to use magic for modern needs, and the most common use of sorcerers is monster hunting, since sorcerers are more resistant to injuries than a normal person, it is worth noting that all sorcerers are capable of surviving without any of their major organs for three days, to restore said organs, we sorcerers simply use Lacrima, however, please note that the more serious the black rite's price is, the more Lacrima is needed, moving on, if any of you don't wish to take the upcoming hunter trials, please see me in my office, I am sure not everybody want's to become a fighting sorcerer" said Professor Bremer.

Tatsumi: was sitting in the back of professor Brenam and unfortunately he stayed up reading all off aurochs books that he recommended tatsumi) *yawn*...uh-oh I was stuck reading all night I totally dozed off What was she saying fighting sorcerers...oh right those trials are today...

Auroch had no interest in the trials, he would much prefer a research job, but he owed his sponsor for things like his new duds, and rare/expensive potion and spell components, but most of all books, so he would participate as they had asked.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo perched himself on a nearby tree looking into a window at the actions of the people inside and the teacher. "I still don't understand... the woman called Bremer was still talking. The swordsman had noticed that the other men were distracted by her and her... curves. He was slightly baffled by this, however, as elves tended to be more... appropriately proportioned than some human women did. It struck him as odd... but likely a cultural difference between elves and humans.

The green-haired Elf looked inside and saw the humans he had dealt with yesterday. He sat quietly and listened in slightly to what was going on, trying to maintain a stealthy measure to avoid detection. "Its been a while since I've been in class or observed a class. Might as well," he said with a chuckle to himself as he quietly observed the people in class.

the class with Professor Bremer ended and now thy just have to wait for their next teacher, Professor Soran Ibrahim, "Hey, are you guys ready for the trials?" Wolfgang asked the trio, "of course, I heard it's by party" said Ilfriede, "If you don't mind, I'd like to join you and Helga, Ilfriede" said Luna, "but parties consist of five people, who will we take as the fourth and fifth?" asked Helga, "Ahem, ladies" said Wolfgang pointing to him, "we don't have a choice do we?" said Ilfriede, "what am I? A backup solution?" exclaimed Wolfgang, "kind of, if you think about it, you're like a third wheel in this friendship" said Helga, "but there's four of us! It's always been you three! Why don't you consider me a part?!", "maybe it's because you're a guy" said Helga, "no offense Wolfgang, you're a good friend, but there are some limits to the things we can all do together" added Ilfriede, "so that's what I am to you guys? Just your guy friend?" asked Wolfgang, "you're still in Wolfgang, we'd never leave you out, even though you're the third wheel" said Helga chuckling, "it's fine, but now that we're four, who's gonna be the fifth?" asked Wolfgang.

"Sir Ibrahim" said Cecil, "the new student has arrived", "Ah, bring him in" said Soran, entering his office, was a young man, he appeared to be in his late teens, he had red hair with aquamarine eyes, "Nice to meet you, Theodore Edelbach" said Soran with a smirk on his face, Theodore had a frown on his face, then he spoke, "If I do as you say, Soran Ibrahim, will you keep your end of the bargain?" asked Theodore, "of course, for now, just pretend to be a normal student" said Soran, he got up from his desk and took Theodore with him to the classroom.

"Morning class, today, I'd like to introduce to you a new student" said Soran as Theodore entered the room, "he's not bad looking" said Helga, "hello, my name is Theodore Edelbach, I am a Sorcerer from the Holy Imperium of Neuschwanstein", "wait, a Sorcerer from the Imperium?" asked a student, "no way, he's from the empire?" said another, murmurs were being exchanged as Professor Ibrahim spoke, "now now, let us all just treat mister Edelbach as a fellow student, now, let's do a pop quiz, hope you read up on the archfiends" said Professor Ibrahim.

[Zorolo]

For the first time in no less than a month, the sound of a window opening and Zorlo popping his head in occurred. "You know, humans are oddly loud when they're fascinated," he said as he flipped a coin idly. Zorlo stared at the man from the imperium and smiled. "You... you seem like someone interesting," the green-haired elf stated with a smirk as he sat crouched on the window cill. He hadn't quite gotten used to... etiquette or the like, so intrusion was his modus operandi. "So what brings one of your kind to this place, humie?" Zorlo asked indignantly as he smirked wryly at the target of his newfound interest.

Tatsumi: ( he looked at the new student) what's somebody from the imperium doing in a place like this? Nevermind that I have to find a team to undergo the trials?... ( he then turns his head only to see zorlo sittin in the window Sil) yeah I guess he seems interesting enough... Uhh hey wait where did you come from?

Auroch didn't even spare Theodore Edelbach a second glance. A mysterious transfer student just before the trials. Might be a ringer. Or an anchor. He flipped his finished quiz over and wondered if he really needed to be part of a group for the trials. He wouldn't be the first one to ever go at it by himself, but it was far more dangerous than being part of a group and they probably wouldn't let him go at it alone these days.

So who to try and get to join me? He thought to himself. I can handle the guard position, though a second one might, going to need at least one Storm and a Ranger, natch. Probably another Storm to back up the first and another Guard would be good in case I get whelmed, then again there's something to be said for the blitz so maybe just a couple more Rangers. He looked up at the commotion Zorlo was causing. Zorlo Amaranthine, he might do for Storm. I wonder if Kanna would be willing to be my artillery? That still leaves a couple of slots. He turned to the new guy, "Hey, Theodore Edelbach? Auroch Farmer. Are you committed to a party for the trials? Or are you not participating?"

[Kaori]

"I was not informed of this" said Theodore, "Sir Ibrahim, I was not informed of any trials" said Theodore as he stood up, Soran looked at him, Soran looked at Ilfriede and her friends, who proceeded to shake their heads left and right, he frowned, he then looked at Theodore, "you may choose then who you wish to be with, mister Edelbach, the trials are upcoming tests for those who would join either the Kingdom's army, or the Avalon monster extermination corps" said Soran with a strange grin on his face, "You bastard!" thought Theodore, his left eye twitched a bit and he smiled and said, "Thank you Professor Ibrahim, I think I shall join this fellow here", he then turned to Auroch and said, "I look forward to fighting alongside you, Auroch Farmer" said Theodore as he proceeded to sit down, beneath his smile, he was furious at Professor Ibrahim.

((I'm not gonna translate some of the following dialogues))
"Pochemu ty peresechenii granitsy?!" asked the the commander before shooting a man on the head with his sidearm, Theodore Edelbach was huddled with a girl, "brat, ya boyus', Teodor" said the little girl, "Vse budet v poryadke , Elizabet" said Theodore, the soldier turned to the two, on his shoulder, was the patch of the Stasi, the secret police of the Belkan Federation, "Vy dumali vy mogli by izbezhat' ? Volshebnik podonki!" said the soldier as he kicked Theodore, "Dezertir , kak vy budete yego vytaskivayut vzlomat' Federatsii , vasha sestra mozhet umeret' zdes'", added the soldier, "Net! Ostav' yeye v pokoye vy zhivotnoye!" screamed Theodore as the Stasi commander stepped on his head, other soldiers aimed their firearms on the young girl, she cried and faced Theodore, "Teodor!" screamed the girl as Theodore screamed "Elizabet!", "strel'ba!" said the Stasi commander, "whoa, hold on there Belkies!" said a voice, the Stasi soldiers pointed their guns at the voice and saw a young man, he had light blond hair and blue eyes and a smile on his face, he wore a gray BDU with a brown leather jacket over it, but on his hips were two large rectangular objects, with what appeared to be sword handles on them, the Stasi commander counted 12 slots, with 12 swords on them he looked at the blond man and said, "this is non of your business, Imperial, these two were Sorcerers trying to escape the fatherland!", "yeesh, it's probably because of you force your Sorcerers into labour camps and the army" said the Imperial, "you Imperial dog! Mind your ow-" before he could finish, his lower jaw fell on the snow covered ground, "AAAAAAUUUUUGHHHHHHH" screamed the Stasi commander, the soldiers tried to shoot only for the Inquisitor to dodge them, he launched a wire into a tree and swung at the soldiers, moments later their bodies lay dead on the ground, with shell casings surrounding their corpses, the Inquisitor turned to face the two, "it's alright, you're safe" he said, he then saw two other dead bodies, a man and a woman, older than the two he had saved, "I am so sorry I didn't arrive sooner" added the Inquisitor, Theodore and the girl cried, with the Inquisitor shedding tears as well as he looked at the bodies.

"Elizabeth, I will find us a better life, away from the fighting" thought Theodore, "Alright, once everybody has found a party, please report to the grand hall, I'll be there, class dismissed" said Soran as he left the room.

Tatsumi: putting up a smile as a front?..oh well I used to be like that so I shouldn't judge or read too much into it besides the real issue is finding a team I'm sure I could survive on my own but I don't want to I came to this school to get away from all of fighting demon none sense I just want to help people... ( he looks over at Auroch) hey need an extra member it seems like a bunch of people are allready pairing off and making teams I was wondering if I could join yours?

[Zorolo]

Zorlo slipped in enough to sit on the window cill and seemed lost in thought. "Oh, right, that. I recall caring about that for some reason..." he said as he scratched his cheek. "By why was it these trials were important... something to do with something..." he said mostly to himself as he looked partially at the ceiling. The elven swordsman was somewhat surprised when the new person joined with that boy... who's name Zorlo couldn't for the life of him remember, even though it had been given only moments prior.

Still, this whole 'teams' concept seemed like bullocks to him. ON the battlefield, the only person you could truly depend on was yourself... or at least that was the truth he had acknowledged all this time. Not that any of these... er... people would want him anyway. He was a bit too vulgar, he guessed, for their human... err... refined tastes.

Tatsumi: hey ( he looks over his shoulder as he looks at zorlo and remebers the elf from the night before) you want to join up with us? It seems easier then having to go alone auroch how about do you need two extras for your party or team?

"Yeah, Zorlo Amaranthine and Tatsumi, you two will do. You both favor being up close.." He held up his fist, whispered a summoning spell causing the circle etched into his cuff to flare and then a trio of pixies appeared. One shone green, a second red, and the third was aquamarine. Auroch whispered something to the little faeries and the first flitted over to Zorlo, the second Tatsumi, and the third went to Theodore. We'll meet up for a quick review of skill sets and practice once I've acquired her; those will lead you to an old practice field."

Auroch hopped up and said, "I offer up this contract to bear the spirit of the wicked beast that sleeps within the earth." Light erupted from around his legs as he completed the spell and the kid booked it, he left a wake of wind behind him. Normally he wouldn't use magic in the hallways, even to escape a fight that might just lead to escalation, but he wanted to hurry so he used the movement boost spell. Kanna spent most of her time in the library so that's where he went, he released the spell just in time to avoid crashing into the doors. When he found Kanna he grabbed her hand and stated, "Ranger acquired." Without explaining nor asking if she would join his party or not.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo chuckled as he looked at the pixie and shrugged. "Hmm... well, I guess I don't have much of a choice now, do I?" he asked with a shrug. "Human sure does know how to handle things," the Elf stated as he cracked his back and shifted out of the window back onto the tree across from the window he was sitting in. "Guess I'll be seeing you humans later."

A flutter between the shelves... Movement through the air. It was another day and for Kanna, it was business as usual. The only different being that she'd returned the Library though a hidden, normally sealed back window today. After her part was over in her Elemental studies class, she'd ditched to come here. Her talk with Scarecrow the night before had made her want to do some Metal Element research. "Hmmm.... not this one... Not quite," she murmured to herself as she reached out to grab the next book.
The sound of movement made her pause. Almost no one comes back this far into the Library depths. Did someone get lost back here? She set her book on a nearby table turned back in time for Auroch to round the corner. Auroch...?

"Ranger acquired," he stated, catching hold of her hand.

The Elven girl merely looking at him a moment as she processed his statement. "...Auroch...Explain please..." she replied to him.

"I need a party of five for the trial. I've already got two who can handle being up close and personal, I'll be managing the defense and support, you have solid firepower, and with the wild card that makes five." He started trying to lead her off, not that he was really strong enough to move her if she resisted the least little bit, "Come on, we don't have a lot of time to get a feel for the others."

The pixies' auras flared as they flitted in front of their faces before leading them towards an old disused and overgrown practice field.

[Kaori]

"We don't have a fifth member" said Wolfgang as the four of them walked to the grand hall, "maybe we should've accepted that Edelbach guy" he added, "I'm not so sure, a new transfer student on the day of the trials is kinda strange, that and he seemed more Belkan than imperial" said Helga, "that and his eyes looked kinda empty" she added, "but now what are we gonna do? We can't form a party with just four of us" said Luna, "too bad you children didn't know Professors can join the party" said a voice, the group looked to where the voice was coming from to see none other than Gerhard von Ralerstein, the Red Baron of Cerberus, and dance professor in the academy, "wait, Professors can join the students?" asked Wolfgang as the group approached Ralerstein, "of course, it's to make sure all parties are evened out, the catch is we're not allowed to use some of our more advanced techniques such as our Incorruptus" said Ralerstein with a twirl, Ilfriede remembered the stories of powerful Sorcerers being able to summon a large suit of armor, 7 meters in height, to fight large monsters with, besides becoming storm vanguard, she had hoped to acquire her own Incorruptus, "so how about it, would you like me to join?" asked Ralerstein, "okay sir Ralerstein, you can join us" said Ilfriede, "greeeeaaaaaaat, I'll see you kids at the grand hall" with that he proceeded to walk... Actually, it looked more like he danced away, "well, let's go to the grand hall guys" said Ilfriede, with that, they left.

"so, when will we leave?" asked Theodore, he was asking tatsumi who like him, is waiting for Auroch and Zorlo.

Tatsumi: ( he looks at Theodore) well I guess we just sit and wait here in this practice field for them I wonder where that elf went he kinda just disappeared into the woods huh? Oh I'm Tatsumi ( he holds Put how hand) its good to meet you... ( he smiles politely at Theodore)

[Kaori]

"I'm pretty sure Professor Ibrahim said the grand hall, not this practice field" Said Theodore, in fact, only the two of them stood there, like a pair of lost idiots.

Ilfriede and her friends arrived at the great hall, there were groups of students and Professor Ibrahim was standing in the front with a smile on his face, next to him stood a man wearing a blue and red uniform with a glass eyepatch over his right eye, a soldier from the kingdom's army, "hellooo kiddies" said a voice behind Ilfriede's group, it was Ralerstein, "sir Ralerstein? Why is there a soldier over there?" asked Ilfriede pointing at the man with the glass eyepatch, "it's simple my dear, he's the one giving us the trial today" replied Ralerstein, "a nearby village was overrun with monsters, the trial, is to take back that village, normally, Cerberus and the military handle those sort of things, although Soran managed to convince the military to let students take it back as a trial" added Ralerstein, "how on earth did he do that?" asked Wolfgang, "Soran may not look it, but he's trying to take over the school, that man hates it when things don't go his way, and won't hesitate to make other people suffer for his personal amusement, rumor has it he arranged for this kind of trial to harm certain students who got on his bad side" said Ralerstein, "there are also rumors that he torments Jinguuji Marimo" he added, "was it because she dumped him" asked Helga, "no, I believe it had something to do with their first time, I shouldn't be telling you this, he might find out I told you, now quick lets go tell him I'm joining you" said Ralerstein.

"Oh? So sir Ralerstein will be joining your party huh? I don't see why not, besides, a group of boys managed to get Professor Bremer to join them" said Professor Ibrahim, Wolfgang saw a group of boys surrounding Professor Bremer,she appeared to be lecturing them, but they were all fixated with her bust, "wish I joined them" muttered Wolfgang, "oh, what happened to us being your harem?" asked Ilfriede, "but look at Professor Bremer! She's the like the sun! Luna is Jupiter, you're Saturn, and Helga is Uranus!" said Wolfgang, WHAM!, a fist made of stone from Helga knocked Wolfgang to the other side of the grand hall "Vielen dank!" said Helga.

Kanna merely looked at him a moment in silence. This was the last thing she'd expected anyone, even him, to come to her for. She resisted long enough to slip the book bad onto the shelf and arcanely mark it for later before letting him pull her along. Once she got outside the Library, Auroch could feel her trace an asterisk on the back of his hand holding hers. When he looking back, she'd already slipped free of him seamlessly. "...I... need something. Please... continue ahead. I'll meet you where ever it is..." she said to him before vanishing off down a different hallway. Why was she doing this? She hated working with other. In the end, the Elf felt like she owed him this much for putting up with and helping her. And she she returned to her room momentarily.
