Story: CC corp has recentaly released a new patch to the world upgrading the entore systems of the game adding new root towns new dungeons quests as well as a special event that has yet to be announced it is said this expansion shall completely revolutionize the world of gaming the new title is called THE WORLD Rx:0 entitled the Guilty dragon, news like this would of used to excite me and I would of waited on line for the new release of such a game but it's been 4 years exactly 4 years since my sister disappeared and 4 years since senna and kite and the others including myself have escaped from The World and were set free....I...even I have been able to put all of this behind me the destruction of chronos the death of Xargin the fall of mac anu and the Redemption of Aura,... the time we all spent trapped in that game it all seems just like a dream a distant Memory of a forgotten past I haven't seen anyone the member of the reality guardians since that fateful day that battle changed the very fate of "the World" For once I feel like my normal life can begin that is until 3 months ago when I received a strange email addressed to my character at first I thought it was just my imagination playing tricks on me but on closer inspection the email had been corrupted I couldn't read the most of it the one thing that stood out to me was my sisters name...as well as a picture of kites character....does this mean my sisters still alive? Against my better judgement I've decided to return to the world in order to finally put an end to this mystery...

Bio: he was a ridiculously high level pkk known as " Quick silver" he used to be vicious and ruthless he cleared any pk that stood in his way though after his sisters disappearance in the real world when she was pked in game by his closest friend Xargin soon then the guild chronos fell apart and he left the guild in search for his sister he changed his ways once he met Senna and Kite along with the other reality guardians he became especially close to Senna and promised he would help her escape from the world because she too was trapped in the world un able to log out and then soon the Reid Senna and kite became close Reid would consider the two of them family.. At least that's what it was ever since the great battle for fate of the world in their hands Reid and the other 5 warriors fought for the fate of the world it was a great battle and not with out the loss of a few dear friends but in the end the 6 warriors emerged victorious and soon free the all escaped from the world and the reality guardians went their separate ways and soon Kazuki gained a scholarship to a university in the city due to his ability in soccer at the moment he's currently studying in programming and art and has left <<the world>> in the past that is until he got the mysterious email he had to make a new character but his stats were carried over along with his characters hat and the legend of quick silver and the stories of the Reality guardians are a big part of the forums due to their heroics of rescuing the lost ones and freeing everyone trapped within the world despite this he keeps a low profile and doesnt let people know he was a member of the reality guardians

"AAAAAAH!" His body began shaking with a ferociousness. His face was coated with sweat, and his hat was in tatters. His wrists were chained to opposite ends of the room as he was placed on his knee's in the middle of it. It was so real, the pain. It was like back when he couldn't log out. He couldn't make out the Username of those around him. His mind even went blank, for, Kite was being tortured.

It's been two years since entering the world and the thought of going back scared her. After everything that had happened how could she go back and think of the game the same way? Reid and Kite, her two best friends from the game had disappeared or maybe it was her who disappeared. How could she tell? All she had remembered was waking up in a hospital and hadn't seen either of the two since then. Was it all a dream? Everything that had happened? The kiss with Kite and waking up from the world? Did that ever really happen? Did being stuck in the world to begin with ever really happen?

"I don't know..." She whispered while looking at a computer screen.
"Did you say something?" Her friend Shiori asked while looking over Ishimura. However, Ishimura only seemed to have ignored her and dazed off while looking at the computer.
The two girls stood in the empty computer room of the collage for a while before Shiori finally looked over at Ishimura and shook her a little.
"Are you going to just stand there all day staring at that computer? If so then I'm going to go home. It's to bloody hot out and I want to get to the air conditioning!"
Slightly breaking from her trance she replied "Alright, then. You go ahead. I'll catch up with you later"

It felt as though fate had drawn her here. She had walked past the computer room when one turned on computer had caught her eye. A computer with one screen that looked all to familiar.

Reid: ( he looks around briefly as he then looks at his hands but he runs over to a reflective surface to he himself) yep I really a back allright but wait ( he panics quickly as he opens up the interface as he scrolls to see the log out option as he clicks it to see the confirmation message appears he calms down as he looks around at the new bigger and upgraded Mac anu ) phew....well this is clearly Mac anu but it looks so different things Certaintly did change ( he plays around with the interface trying to get used to the new system but he can help but notice All of the different character types wandering the streets as he notices a group of 3 taking on a quest and he smiles to himself)... No time for reminiscing I'm sure those two are off somewhere come to think of it I haven't seen them since the day we escaped...like they'd be stupid like me and come back into this game yeah right ( he notices his guilds @HOME key in his inventory) I have too.... ( he walks off) there's no way it could possibly still be there could it?... ( he walks to the new area where the guilds are) too many memories here ( he quickly flashes back to 2 years prior his time stuck in the world and as member of the reality guardians) I can still rerember those days like they were yesterday...no its all in the past kite and senna they've all moved on...I have to wrap this up quickly ( he continues to look up at the guild @HOME) there's no way this key still works....( he receives the new email ping) huh?

What was holding him here? He couldn't tell. All that he could focus on was the pain. It was certin. It always happened. His voice was cracking, and he could no longer summon tears, but he would not break. He couldn't even remember what they wanted from him. He only resisted for the sake of resisting now. Every attack on him took his breath. His eyes were clouding... When he came to there was water in front of him. Water. He leaned for it and then stopped. The smell was overpowering. It was stagnant. Had he quenched his thirst with this, he would have been vomitting for hours. He couldn't even remember them coming in again, just that they were there. Kite held up his head, closed his eyes, and wished.

Shiori had long since left but Ishimura was still there staring at the screen.

Games were generally banned from her collage for being a distraction to students studies and causing bad behavior. How the game got here and wasn't confiscated was a mystery to her. Who would leave the game on like that and more or less leave there controller and goggles here too. The room was completely empty when she had discovered the computer and she had guessed that nobody was in the room for a couple days. She slowly looked around and slowly sat down. Classes were over for the day but the computer lab stayed open late for students who wanted or needed to study.

So, many questions. I have to know...
She gently picked up the goggles and placed them on her head. Her heart started to beat slightly faster as nervousness started to set in.
I'm afraid but...
She picked up the controller and pressed enter.

Then, the realization came. He stood face to face with Ekizen, the real Ekizen, as in Ekizin Corporations. I...Got shot. He shook his head, he could barely remember it. He spent two years being tortured in here, unable to log out. "By all rights you should be dead. I shot you. Yet, here you are in The World. Kite could no longer muster a voice for more than screaming anymore. Senna...Reid...Senna. He focused on his last moments with her, escaped inside his mind. But the beatings always brought him back. He couldn't hide. "You feel this. Know what that means? Let me give you a hint. You aren't looking through an FMD"

"Could this really be the world? It looks so different" She said while looking around. It seemed as though every memory had come rushing back to her.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" A player had shouted as they slammed into her shoulder and knocking her over. The world may look different but the players certainly haven't changed a bit. She tried to stand up again but the controls have changed and she was stuck looking like a fool until she could figure out the controls.
"Look at that noob laying there" Everybody commented and laughed as they walked by.
I'm not a noob. I know more about The World then you ever will!
Suddenly a thought had struck her. When she had finally figured out the controls she quickly ran over to one of the bridges and looked over it. The graphics had improved even more then when she last played. The water looked like real water and reflected her reflection perfectly. She looked solemnly at her reflection. It was still her avatar but it was stripped to the bare minimal. All her equipment lost. Her avatar looked how it did when she started playing for the very first time. Quickly, she looked through all her logs and emails, gone, all of it was gone.
No...
Her hands in the real world started to shake then they slowly steadied themselves. At least she still had her avatar and she was thankful for that. She looked at her level but all that was there was a couple random letters and exclamation marks. A glitch perhaps?
She didn't know what to make of everything. The feeling of alienation flooded over her as she sad on a bridge. Other player would walk by and comment one her.
"Did you see that character? So, odd"
"Where did they get that look? That isn't in the character creation is it?"

Now she new how a time traveler must feel. How alienated they must feel from being in the past and thrown into the future or how an old person must feel with the growing generations and evolving technology.

Maybe we're all broken and lost. Maybe that's why they play this game. They're are searching for something that no longer exists, A sanctuary away from the real world.

Bio: Marcus is a software engineer who several years ago after a problem during a surgery was infected with AIDS by a bad batch of blood. He refuses to let such a little thing get him down and has been working with CCcorp. and a couple of other companies to develop the next stage in VR technology. The latest prototype is designated the medicuboid, a full dive VR interface that intercepts the body's nervous transmissions, and Marcus is testing it. He was surprised by how readily The World accepted the Medicuboid, it seems to work even better with it than the levels they've been able to design thus far, so he's diving into The World practically 24/7 as his condition leaves him confined to a single room in the real world and he claims it helps with his research. He didn't think he would be keeping the character at first so he didn't come up with an alias, but he hasn't been able to delete it, one of the things he's working on, and the character's appearance seemed to have stolen his own features, but he is thankful that he had the chance to customize the attire at least and he has spent a great deal of effort and time on that, and one extremely painful and important thing he has finally gotten to viable levels is pain intensity. As such, he quickly became an exceptional swordsman allowing him to level rapidly by taking on higher level dungeons than he should otherwise be able to. Between that and the number of hours he logs he easily outstrips other players in levels and as such he rarely forms a party.

His favored blade is called Saint George's Cross. It has a high damage rating and ignores any and every defensive ability, even the One Sin's.

His senses had long since faded, being stuck in The World for since he had been shot. This was his life, wake up, shocked, whipped, slashed, everything they could do in The World to him, they did. He had done it though. He had saved the lost ones. In truth, he didn't know if he did, but it's what kept him going. Something to hold on to. Senna and Reid must have been long since gone, but he missed them. For the first time in the two years of captivity, he lowered his head and wept.

Last week Marcus had made a decision. Rather than just sell all of the loot he had accumulated that week he would take the choicest pieces he wouldn't or couldn't use and give them away in a spectacular fashion. First he bought an in game typewriter. An extremely expensive purchase, but he had money to burn. Then he picked a busy location full of low levels who would appreciate the items a bridge in Mac Anu and set up to start typing. If anybody asked him what he was doing there during the next hour he would give them the loot, along with a newspaper filled with tips for newbies and an excert telling them to give the paper to a friend who will bring it and a dozen faerie orbs to him at a different location next week for the next quest. Then pack up and go do a real quest so he would have more loot the following week.

He set up shop on the bridge across from a blond haired woman. She looks new, maybe she's also curious. Might not be fair to the other players, but this isn't an official event so who cares? Hmm, her character model looks a bit dated, I suppose it makes for a nice contrast to my own.
