Because this is not our site, it has its own rules and we must follow them, d5t has been generous enough just allowing the conversation to exist here.SuperSlash wrote:I don't get why you guys can't link to the patch. I'm pretty sure patches by themselves aren't illegal.
In any case, I'm glad this has a patch, and I'll be looking for it soon! Good job guys.
Re: .hack//LINK Unofficial Fan Translation Project
Lil late to the update but I'm on 1.1 now! Updating is much quicker & easier then applying the initial patch so yay! Bring on more of 'em! I imagine overflowing text'll always be a problem an that's okay... if its not at the very edge of the screen.

Not a big deal & Information can easily be abbreviated to just Info if anyone feels like doing that.
But something like this...

Perfor on the what? Now I bet anyone here who's played the game can fill in the blanks but new players? Dunno. I also dunno if moving the text to the left is possible/worth doing, or upwards and creating a third row of text? I'm sure it doesn't help that this particular dialogue box is near the very bottom of the screen x.x

Just a quick update: the project is still going ahead. I am continuing to translate files nearly every day. Hopefully everything will be ready in good time.
Re: .hack//LINK Unofficial Fan Translation Project

Re: .hack//LINK Unofficial Fan Translation Project
Ultimately we would like to translate everything. v0.2 will include some items and menus and stuff, but we are doing this is stages, so the main story is our priority right now. Non-story stuff will be a bit later.
Re: .hack//LINK Unofficial Fan Translation Project
It's actually one of the easiest RPGs of all time to play without reading, that's why we're focusing on the story, which is not as easy.
Re: .hack//LINK Unofficial Fan Translation Project
Now that the cutscene stuff is outta the way by main story are you refering to all of the dialogue within the SIGN, .hack//, Roots, G.U., and Link era episodes?
That's a lot of stuff to translaste! There's far less menu/item/monster text to do but I appreciate the focus on story over stuff that may take less time & energy ta do. Are the episode titles & descriptions one of the things on the backburner?

Iapologize but it seems you have made an error in saying the link to the patch was "easy to find" when in actuality, it is quite difficult. would you or someone else please tell me where to find the link so that i may give my support. please and thank you

It's against the forum's policy to post link's to such material. It can easily be found by Googling. Google keywords like ".hack//link" and/or "english" and/or "fan translation" and it should be somewhere within the first few pages.r00str wrote:Iapologize but it seems you have made an error in saying the link to the patch was "easy to find" when in actuality, it is quite difficult. would you or someone else please tell me where to find the link so that i may give my support. please and thank you

Try typing "Hello Toaster" into Google. I'm trying to be as helpful as I can within the confines of the forum's policies.r00str wrote:onceagain iapologgize. but i have takin tht corse of action and always end back here

Another hint is that it is the only result that does not involve a toaster producing hello kitty style bread. You might want to include "-kitty" in your Google search.Kazetrigger wrote:Try typing "Hello Toaster" into Google. You know you could just post a link to the website abd I don't mean a website that leads to your website by clicking something. I mean past the websites url on the topic reply board.

If you've noticed everyone's comments, you'd understand posting a link is against our sites policy because of the content itself. Hence why the author and the supporting administrator here are telling people to search google for the websites unique name.SCP-173 wrote:You know you could just post a link to the website abd I don't mean a website that leads to your website by clicking something.
