He ignored the comment about how tense he was, he didn't have a real answer for it anyways and saying that Rider was the cause would just be rude. He's the second person to call me Templar in such a short time frame... and Max called himself Phantom too, didn't he? Coincidences? Or Your hand at work?

Rider: come now ( he throws his as around the priests shoulder in a playful manner) dottell me you've forgotten all about one of your old part era my good friend and ohh wait you really have forgotten then that means your involved with phantom for some reason that's unfortunate now I really do have to bring you in....

(he shuts the file as he removes his glasses as he gets up and he glances out the window and he notices several unfamiliar faces though they seem to be blending into the crowd quit skillfully).. Moving through the area, the thieves looked around. Finally, they looked down at the stores from the nearby area. "Alice," One of the men spoke, noticing the two standing a distance from what seemed to be one of the main grocery stores. "The father is standing over there. Seems like it's a bit tense over there." Her eyes seemed to narrow towards the man.

"What is it? Certainly a church owner should know what's going on and how to do deal with threats." Her voice had an annoyed tone as she walked towards the person talking to her.

"H-he could be dangerous. I thought you liked the guy..." He felt a knife at his throat. He shivered, seeing her smile grow.

"You want to use that weakness against me so I won't go through with it, don't you?"

"N-no, but what if the father has trouble with a guy from..."

"Well, you do have brain in that head of yours." She chuckled, removing the knife. "Return to base, there's something wrong with the location." She had already noticed a strange light from the area that Scott was supposedly living. She needed to have a longer stake out time before they could even get close to the place. Still, it bugged her to see such things could possibly take her attention away. She turned towards the nearest alley and made her way, her hands holding the daggers in such a way that they would not be easily seen. When she was close enough, she examined the rider with a cautious face. Yes, he was indeed a bit dangerous. Taking what seemed to be a slightly less menacing grin, she moved forward. "I didn't know you knew such pompous fools, Father."

Upon hearing Lily Nicholas took a deep breath and stopped moving. The way Rider was behaving was like a cat playing with a mouse and now there was a more delectable looking meal just walking up and begging to be eaten. "You shouldn't be here. RUN." He shouted as he threw Rider as hard as he could away from Lily. He quickly closed with Rider, drawing his blade as Rider sprang off the ground to his feet as he readied his own weapon. Father Carpenter occupied one side of the double sword with Balmung and the other with his sword's sheathe. At first it looked like Nicholas might be pushing Rider back, but the tables quickly turned on the priest, Balmung might have been a holy blade but at the end of the day it was wrought of silver and Rider's weapon was orichalcum, although using the steel reinforced sheathe like a second sword was atypical for Nicholas regardless of memories and at first that had caught Rider off guard, Nicholas was much more capable with the larger two handed swords, and ultimately Rider was more familiar with how Father Carpenter fought than he was with Rider's style given the lack of memories. So at the end of the day it's really quite impressive that Carpenter was able to keep the pressure on Rider as much as he had been and that nobody had taken a solid hit for a good ten seconds, although the road was quickly being cut up into gravel, and then Carpenter's sword was cut in half and Rider's blade bit into his throat, fortunately he stopped the blade before it could go far and somehow it hadn't gone deep enough to cut open his jugular.

Carpenter wrapped an arm around the double sword and spun around slamming his elbow into Rider's chin, he got his hand off the weapon just in time to avoid getting his fingers sliced off and rolled away during the brief instant Rider was disoriented. "Fine, if you're going to stay, don't just stand there like a doe, distract him for ten seconds." Nicholas threw what was left of Balmung at Rider and sprinted for his truck.

Rider: (he shakes his head as he grins) come on Templar don't tell me you've been slacking off lately? ( he runs in pursuit of father carpenter as he stops as he notices lily's crew) your gonna stand in my way? ( he grins viciously) fine then I could use a good work out my prey escaped me earlier so I'm Abit angry)

Max: ( he hands her the bag) I need you to take this ( he throws the coat on) we need to go now...( he watches as the hit men begin closing in on the building their getting ready to burst in).....get ready ( he checks how ammo one last time) I can't miss a single shot....

Alice felt a smile on her face, seeming to chuckle a bit as she pulled out her daggers. "You're one of them, aren't you? One of the people that killed Rabbit." Her voice was showing more of her what seemed to be insanity. She moved one of them up tossing it towards the rider as she ran forward. She had already drawn a new dagger to use as she kicked up from the ground.

Rider: woah! ( he blocks her oncoming attack with his made as he takes a look at her noticing the look on her face) what's wrong with you? I don't know any rabbit? Sorry to disappoint you anyway your in the way ( he grins) but if you want to fight I'll be happy to show you what it's like to fight with an elite Rabbit?...the more I hear it the more it sounds familiar ( he parrys her strike As he readies his weapon for her next attack as he clashes with her) wow your actually really talented at this you want to kill me that badly huh? Well than ( he blocks a oncoming dagger as he ACTH goes on the defensive but he counters by parrying her dagger causing her to stagger

Rider felt a sudden pain in his shoulder, and then a second pain in his side accompanied by a bang, he managed to move out of the way of the third shot but found himself in shock at the gunman. It was Templar, a man who, as far as he knew, only ever touched a gun when he was disarming someone or otherwise getting rid of one. Nicholas tossed the gun back in the cabin and drew the great sword, Nothung. It seemed like it took considerably less time for Carpenter to close the distance from the truck to the fight than it had taken him to get there, but then again he hadn't been charging at Rider with a sword longer than he was tall then either. A cone formed around the blade when he thrust at Rider and though the assassin managed to avoid the sword there was a shock wave accompanying the sonic boom it had created which staggered everyone but the father for half a second. But for Templar, at that range, that might as well have been forever. The great sword was bigger and ever so slightly slower than his orichalcum blade had been which gave Rider just enough time to block the attack, but the force of the impact numbed his hands and pushed him back a foot, exemplifying that while the sword might have been a touch slower it struck with greater force. "I will kill you before allowing you to kill even a single person in my town."

Rider: ( he leaps back in order to make distance between him and the father as he narrowly blocks another attack from lily ita clear rider is beginning to struggle) well now you can use a gun? ( he holds his side as he measures the level of damage he just took from both Templar and lily's attacks) now this is trouble to think you pinned me down to this extent ( a click sound can be heArd from his weapon as a golden and black arrow lands at riders feet)....

????: withdraw rider....( as he steps into view he appears to be a well dressed gentleman with glasses as his gaze seems gentle but only to a highly trained professional can feel a emmense Pressure from the mans gaze pinning them there) that's enough...follow orders Templar is not your tArget your mission was to find Phantom and bring him in you were given specific orders not to engage anyone other than phantom in combat ( he aims a arrow at riders chest) withdraw now this is your final warning

Rider: fine...( he reverts his weapon as the arrow explodes causing a smoke screen) I'll catch you later Templar! ( he runs off as he makes his escape once the smoke clears he's gone along with the man atop the building)

"So they won't come quietly." Alice's voice seemed annoyed, picking up the daggers that she had used. "I'm not going to thank you or tell you why I even came here. Something bugged me about you dying in such a cowardly fashion." She started her walk as she seemed to stagger a little. For a moment of clarity, her mind seemed to see something. She quickly recovered and began her walk back to her hide out. Tomorrow morning Lily would be going back to the church anyway.

Father Carpenter looked in the direction Lily had walked off in sadly. "Thank me? I nearly got you killed." He took a deep breath, recovered everything, including the empty bullet casings, and called the police to inform them of the damaged section of road so that nobody wrecked on it. Back in the truck he applied a cloth to stifle the flow of blood and by the time the officer arrived he had replaced his collar and adjusted it to hide the injury. Templar not Priest-Templar or anything like that and he used it like it was a designation not a nickname. Phantom, Rider, and... Archer? What is going on here and how am I involved? Does it have something to do with Cerberus? I need to talk to Max, he seemed to be holding something back.

"I thought I asked you not to give me any spoilers?" Nicholas said jokingly as he came to a stop at a road block near the Blood residence. There were a lot of guys, government agents maybe, about to breach a house. "Why build one when you can have two at twice the price?" He sighed the quote and frowned at the house. A breacher, an inhabitant, or both?

( as the mean breach the condo they find it to be empty though Abit messy it doesn't look like there's anyone in as they spread out and search)

Hit man: he couldn't of left look around there's no way he could of escaped without us spread out ( the men search the apartment and as a man enters the bed room he gets punched by Mac the two engage in hand to han combat a as Mac takes the man to the ground and punches him twice in his throat collapsing the mans trachea killing him and max rushes out drawing his gun

Max: ( he wacks the second hit man with his gun as he engage the second hit man in hand to hand combat though the man draws his gun and before Max can take him down a few shots are fired off Placing bullet holes in the walls of the condo as max breaks the mans arm over her shoulder as he throws him pver his shoulder oto the kitchen table and the the gun shots can be heard around the neighborhood) tch... ( he runs and ducks to avoid a right cross from rhe 3rd hitma and then max kicks one of the hit man with a spinning back kick knocking him out the window)
