I don't quite follow. Blackrose was in more than one episode.
I think you're confusing them.
BlackRose is one of the main characters in .Hack//IMOQ, who befriends Kite and goes into the quest against Morganna with him and all, only appearing in SIGN at the last episode "Unison" where the characters from SIGN and IMOQ meet each other. And Mimiru, who has a very similar model as BlackRose, is a completely different character who befriends Tsukasa and appears in pretty much every SIGN episode. Mimiru was in more than one episode, but BlackRose only in one, and just as a small appearance too, getting into a little fight with Mimiru about who was the "original".
Wow, forgive me. I knew that.
We all mess up every now and then.
"To Eror is human."
I forgive you.
-hugz and secretly puts a "Go BlackRose" sticker on your back-

"Errare humanum est."
Don't forget "Usus magister est optimus!" (practice makes perfect)
I probably said that wrong....
Anyways, I never answered this thread's question, so I actually have to say Bear. The episode where his son shows up and asks for money just struck me as "whoa" for some reason, because I imagined him more as maybe 20s-30s but that scene was definitely more like 40s-50s. It just added to his depth or something, I can't explain it.
I'm obsessed with him and he's one of my inspirations on how to be cute, creepy, childish, mature (well, for his age he is...), and just plain weird at the same time ^.^ And he's just so huggable and I wanna cuddle with him day and night~ >w<♥
A faaaaaaar second place is tied between Bear, Macha, and Tsukasa.
Bear's dialogue is insightful and educated, without sounding pretentious because it's offset by his humbly presented imagination and wit, which appeals to me ^__________^
And like the rest of the internet, I love cats, so Macha's a no brainer for me too. Her pantomime is very amusing~
Yeah...I was really upset when she got beat up though. But I guess it's not like subaru to fight back like that. She has her way with words. And to answer the question,I really like tsukasa.I like everything about her.Her depressing self
When I found out Haseo is Sora I was like..."well,at least now I know where the attitude comes from" (mind you I was playing rebirth at the time). He's really improved over time though.I'm glad he's not such an ******* in Redemption.
ok so when does the expose of Sora being Haseo happen?
anyway I'm a huge fan of Wiseman. He's just a fun and cryptic sorta guy he also has a major role in the first four games and if I'm not mistaken he's also Yata in G.U.

G.U. Vol. 3 Redemption, G.U. Novels (which although they aren't canon, they tell the original story...the G.U. games and the rest of the stuff were based on them), several hints and information such like the origins of the names Haseo and Sora, and official media stuff such like .Hack//Analysis, G.U. Perfect Guidebook, or whichever was the book/magazine that revealed all information about the characters, which proved all theories and past information and fully proved that Haseo and Sora were indeed the same, as well as proved theories of other characters, such like indeed, Yata being Wiseman. Kuhn and Endrance are also past players from The World.
And i'm totally putting that in spoilers...Even though the last 2 posts are even more revealing by themselves, but yeah o3o lol
Oh and BTW...This is the "Favorite .hack sign character" topic...So, does Wiseman appear in the SIGN anime at all, apart from the very last episode? I don't remember him D: He's a character from IMOQ (the games), not from SIGN, as far as i recall.
This may be conjectural so: If anything I believe that if he makes no physical appearance in the series (except perhaps the last episode) Wiseman is busy gathering info and passing it along to Mimiru, Bear, BT, and the others in order to assist them without drawing attention to his involvement. Though as far as I know, though brief he does make make an appearance, would you deny that there are bit characters in the sign series that have no real bearing on the story but there are still people that like them? Take the brothers that Mimiru assists.
Though if that wasn't enough for justification, I can always appreciate BT. Between her motivations and her desires she's forced into conflict with herself.
Hmm a favorite eh? Well BT was alright although I choose Bear. Following that I choose Mimiru. As for Sora's relation to Haseo & Skeith and in comparison Elk to Endrance I think most of the character connections occur outside or would have in unfinished works: ZERO and Chap Chup Case.
