Xander's projection disappeared at the same time as the other man in the tophat, although his was less dramatic. "As you wish, my lord." Said Melanie as he jogged after Raven, he gave the corpses one last hungry glance. "If I may speak, would you like me to carry your injured friend, my lord?" Melanie shadowed Raven as only a butler can.

Raven: Nah it's no issue but if you really want too { he hands off zellos to Melanie} and why do you keep saying My Lord?..I'm not aristocrat or something I'm actually pretty mid class and don't follow so far behind it makes me feel like im being stalked

Zellos shivered again "No, please, i hate the idea of walking furballs, and the fact you can drink the blood from my veins just freaks me out more." Zellos hides behind raven "I can walk..."

Secondly, I can tell that you are indeed a noble, whether you claim it or not. And lastly, I do not recall you asking me to call you anything else, my lord. And I have control of the bloodlust, for the time being, although some form of sustenance will be required in the near future."

Mary gently put the slice on a plate, eating a small bite. "It doesn't taste like balloons." She had a relaxed smile on her face, the weight seeming to be off her shoulders for the first time in a really long time. It was as if she was a completely different person when she smiled like that. "Mark always said the cake would taste like balloons if you ate it at the bakery."

"You were known to the vampires as the traitor prince, and you have a walk that only nobles trying to mingle with the common folk have. With your leave, Lord Raven, I should like to eat a cow or two, although I don't know if my sovereigns are any good now, nor even if I have enough." He removed several gold coins for Raven to examine.

Xander laughed and pointed at Mary's feet, she and he were a couple inches off the ground. Xander's doing, obviously, "Well, we're certainly floating like balloons. Maybe this will bring us back down." He took a bite out of a strawberry shortcake and floated a couple inches higher. "No, apparently not." He offered it to her anyways.

Mary chuckled, taking a bite of the strawberry shortcake slice. It was somehow easier for her to remain this relaxed when there wasn't something she had to do during the day. She hoped that meant that she could be like this even a little more longer. After all, once they were out of the bakery, she'd have to be serious again.

Xander cut himself a piece of a chocolate cake covered in chocolate frosting with chocolate sprinkles. "Heavenly. Here." He handed the half finished slice to Mary. "I know my timing's pretty horrible, but you do know that you don't have to face them alone Mary, right? I'll go with you, if you want." Not that I intend to let you go alone. He thought to himself.

Mary found her mind returning to reality. She closed her eyes and found herself in those streets again. She couldn't face her parents with what she had inside her. The secret couldn't go out in a case like this. "I don't plan to see them every again. I promised that I wouldn't say anything."

Xander put his hands on her shoulders. "Mary, I've let you know me for over a day. You should have realized by now that I know. And have known since before the meeting you remember as our first."

"You know what they would do if they had that information, wouldn't you?" Mary's eyes closed and her body leaned forward a little. "I don't like it either." She knew that if her parents knew that Theodora, Vlad's Fiance, was related to them in some way, then they'd try and use her existence to their advantage. However, Theodora wasn't aware of this connection in any form. She had been taken as a baby, after all.

Well, that was one of the least violent reactions I've gotten. Xander's arms slid up around Mary's neck. "What I don't like, is that you don't want to lose your parents but you seem afraid to face them." He let go and sat atop a counter. "If you want or need isolation, you cut all ties and dive into the rabbit hole head first. When I became a part of internal affairs I left everything behind. I stole my friends' memories of me and killed my mother. If you want them part of your life then you should go see them, and if you want them out of your life then you should go face them once and for all. If you want to just keep ducking them then you would need to stay by someone like me, who can lead them away, day and night. What do you want to do about the situation?"

Would you cut out the melodwama? We wehe a kid, she couldn't handle the stwain of losing all those memohwies. It happened and we don't cahe anymohe, the fihst bit should have been mohe than enough on it's own.

There was no way she could just cut them off, even if she had her memory removed of her parents. The worst thing would be to forget her brother. Mark had left her with a duty that she couldn't just ignore for the rest of her life. She'd have to face her parents on her own at this point. She could probably face them without feeling like they would poison her. Though, she never really ate what they made after they started to interrogate her constantly. She knew there was a high chance they could put things she didn't want in the food. As far as she was concerned, she'd have to do something about them permanently and with her own hands. "I can handle this without any violence being necessary."

Raven: { at the mention of the '"Traitor prince" Raven zones out as he shakes it}....Look I don't know where you got that information but to be honest I don't care just you should know I don't like to talk about such meaningless subjects such as that if you need me I'll be at the guild it's the big building...you can't miss trust me { he walks off with zellos} *sigh* I'm Hungry and I think...I'll go take a nap

"Of course, L- Raven. Have a good day." Melanie followed his nose to the nearest nonhuman source of delicious red meat.

"It's your family. I'll trust the matter to you." He took a bite out of a cupcake, "Devil's food cake?" He offered her the remainder as a measuring cup filled with milk floated into his other hand.

Mary took a bite of the cake, but her relaxed mood slowly returning. Eventually she stood up and followed Xander out. "I have to go see them sooner or later. I'll have a talk with them now. I'll return to the office when I'm done." She waved and began to walk towards where she knew her parents would probably be. The house had been deserted for awhile, but they maintained it. If she managed to talk with them and leave easily, it would all be worth it.

Xander followed Mary discreetly concealing his presence.

It wasn't quite what he had been wanting, but it would suffice for now. Melanie walked the streets with three big turkey legs in one hand and one and a half in the other, soon to just be one. He ate them a bit more slowly than he wanted, but eating a turkey leg in fast forward seemed unwise with so many people with blood soaked hands nearby.
