That's an interim patch by a different group that doesn't cover the story.

ok i understand, and i know it maybe a bit complicated but maybe you could try to help each other, since the gameplay seems like to have progressed quite a bit

I was about to say the samething. If you guys have all the story done and another group has almost all the game play done, then why not just join forces or atleast share notes/date? I'm sure its might be a blow to one or the other group's pride, but its a thought.

I mean in all truth is still concidered simply talkiung about it. I mean you could say google Suchandsuch and you will find thisandthat on somerandomwebsite that has allthisshit in the description. that is breaking no rules, links no links or outside links. there is nothing in there but mear talk of locations.
Just a thought - You might not want to piss off the Administrator of the site you're using. I'd drop it if I were you.
Just a thought - you may want to read correctly, i asked if there where going to toss out hints, and named a few examples. so I doubt that the admins would get peeved at such a thing, and if the admins took it as me saying that they where or are gonna or some whit like that, then I do apologize. my post was simply examples to people on how they may or may not pass out ****. as Google falls under one of the things I listed so do please read a bit closer. I am not here to piss anyone off just waiting eagerly and anxiously for the patch just like everyone else. as well as asking questions. I do not see how questions given examples would piss people off.

Side note; this is not to mock nor piss anyone off so please do not take it as such.

I just discovered this project today and it is awesome, but 'i have a question or two.

what would i need to play this when it is released? I mean is it a patch for the umd or is it a patched iso? If it is an iso would I need a psp 1000?( i have the 3000)

it is a patch for the iso. i believe someone is making a sort of "players guide" for this game with all the dialog so you can play the umd without hacking your system. if you wish to put custom firmware on your psp 3000 i believe it can be done (i was looking into it because my friend has a 3000 and he wants it hacked) but you don't need to run out and buy a brand new system just to play this game.

Hello everyone,

at first, i want to thank everyone who is helping at that project.

I have actual two requests for you.

1. Please don't hurry. Take so much time you need, i dont want to play something which is completly bugged and faulty, because you get jumpy or something like that :D. i will wait for it as long as it take.

2. i just have seen that there is already some kind of translation online, so for sure i tried it. I dont know if you are in close contact to the person who made it, but there is a bug. if i try to see results after i finished some level (the [] button), the game just crash. It would be really cool, if you can eradicate this mistake (if it is also in your version) Just like i said in my first request, do yourself and all of us the favor to take enough time.

Finally, thank you very much again. I always played the game near to finish (in japanese) but i lost interest because I did not understand anything except **** :D I never gaved up hope that somebody will make some translation (it is .hack okay? One of the best game / anime - series i have ever played /seen).

Good Luck to all of you. Nice to see that people investing their time for other people without claming for something. Greetings from Germany :D :o (so sorry for mistakes, (stupid and incompetent teachers :? ) my english is getting slowly better :D :D )

im so sorry ive been off for a while

now, i may not be necessary for this awesome project but i believe that we (fans who look up for what you guys are doing) have to (at least) support you from the back line (the post), i mean, you guys are amazing, you guys gave many of us a reason to be happy, i mean, sure, some people does not love .hack this much, but there are people like me that gets an empty feeling when is not capable of 100% understanding the last game of a anime/manga/videogame saga that have been loved since the first chapter, dungeon, page, and so on, and thats why i believe that at least we can show you guys how many people you are making happy and the actual online impact of what you are doing.

Remember, our video due in August popped up on like the last day of August. We *should* be on schedule but I guess there's a slight chance of November. November would mean there's more in the patch though.

We've been working as hard as we can on the patch, but there might be a slight delay into November. In the meantime, the video covers most of the same material, I highly recommend it to anyone who already has the game:

Anyone who doesn't have the game should probably get it before asking about the patch, but rest assured we're working tirelessly (and not accepting donations of any sort) to bring you the base story version of the patch as soon as possible.

Just wanted to say keep up the good work. Waiting patiently as should anyone else ^^. I always check here to see any new things happening and what has been done. Anyways take care and have a Happy Halloween, even though I still don't think that the word "happy" should be anywhere related to Halloween when it's about ghost and monsters... Anyway keep up the good work ^^.
