Here in Florida, at least with our weather as overbearing as it's been, no such thing when I was in school. It was more of the preps and jocks that wore anything decent or expensive looking. Now, I'd be crazy to walk out in daylight with a suit jacket on.

I see a lot of people come into school with ties and jackets, and by about 10 the jackets and ties are off, sleeves rolled up, buttons undone, all that.
