No need to milk the series.

milk the series? please they started doing that long ago
Please don't get me wrong, I love '(Dot)Hack//Era1, Era2 and Era3' with all my heart, but the whole MMO part of the saga needed to go away. I still want them to make another game/anime/novel (I hope 'Tokyo Pop' lets someone else pick up the franchise for English translation of the novels/books/anime? [Do they translate that? I don't remember its been so long since I've seen a '(dot) hack// anime'.]) but the MMO part was getting stale... Maybe if they accessed 'The World R:? (Or whatever they will call it at that point and time.)' through a portal to the game world where it was the reality of that universe, it could continue but...
There is something Morgan (Van) Webb from the video game review show 'X-play' on 'G4(TV)' said from during the time the show was reviewing '(Dot) Hack//G.U. /Vol. 1 Rebirth/' or '(Dot) Hack//Vol. 5 Reincarnation' if you prefer the '(Dot) Hack//Era1' name for that game) that bothers me to no end according to the review "in japan There was a frick'en '(Dot) Hack//Brand' salad dressing." I don't know if that was just a joke for said review, but at one point there were multipliable food campaigns in Japan celebrating the '(Dot) Hack//Conglomerate' other then candy, soda or energy drinks.
I think i noticed them milking the franchise Morgan (Van) Webb said that.
