I'm sure they would like to nuke each other, but it is like this. How can we nuke them without nearly everyone dying on the planet? If someone fires at the USA, and kill millions. The USA might could, and likely would do the same thing back. We don't need to go on DeathCon.

That, and China has an official policy that if anyone fires a nuke at anyone, even if it's not them, then they send their nukes in every direction.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Uh, source?
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Kuukai is a source really needed? If one country shoots missiles at another country, and kill millions then the country that got nuke will do the same thing back.

Again source?zaseo wrote:Kuukai is a source really needed? If one country shoots missiles at another country, and kill millions then the country that got nuke will do the same thing back.

That's not what he said. That's different.zaseo wrote:Kuukai is a source really needed? If one country shoots missiles at another country, and kill millions then the country that got nuke will do the same thing back.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Edit it just came to me. You're talking about the Pagan Christian thing right?
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
No, I'm talking about this:

Maybe it's just because I'm not involved, but this is the most hilarious page yet of an otherwise quite entertaining thread.

Good to know that I'm not the only one who thinks so.marthwmaster wrote:Maybe it's just because I'm not involved, but this is the most hilarious page yet of an otherwise quite entertaining thread.

Not sure if this can be considered science or religion.
But this is philosophical so.
What are your thoughts on manifestation?
Here is a little article for those who don't know what manifesting is.
I think anything is worth a try unless it is extremely far-fetched.

There are a series of tabs in at the top for different videos.
I gave you the link to the first one so you can go in order.
They are a little long. I don't expect you all to sit through them to watch unless you really are interested.
But if you watch them it'll help put some discussion on this topic here.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
"Manifestation" is ****. No one's ever been able to do it in a falsifiable way and it's basically a fancier version of "If you wish really hard, it'll come true."
It's just New Age assholes who haven't grown up to accept real-world cause and effect.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Yep, something doesn't happen just by thinking it. So I take it that's a no on the China thing?
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
New Age stuff is one thing that I'm strongly against. I've gotten to the point were I think aliens are demons, and Maitreya (I think that is the God. If not correct me if I'm wrong.) is an AntiChirst. Maybe people just see me as some crazy Christian, but oh well. It is what I believe. If I'm right don't New agers believe Maitreya is some God that is related to all religions, and will come to make miracles, and watch over people. Won't he appear as a star, angel, and speak to everyone regardless of language? Benjamin Creme is the leader of this right?
If some guy comes as an angel of light with aliens I shall not worship him.
2nd Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. He, and fallen angels(demons) can shape shift. If someone wanted to take control over the world looking like the good guy first isn't a bad idea.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Maitreya is basically just the next human to achieve full enlightenment after the Buddha. Tradition states that this'll happen after everyone forgets what the Buddha taught ("decline of Dharma"), but what this really means is open to debate, so people have been claiming they're this guy basically since Buddha died. There are all sorts of wacky ideas about it, like he's L Ron Hubbard, or he glows in the dark, but most of them defy common sense because you'd expect him to be a lot like the first Buddha. It's kinda dumb to just throw him into some new age or other religion where the principles aren't the same as what the Buddha actually taught.
Buddhism predates Christianity, so can't you look at some guy showing up and saying, "your actions don't matter, there's a magical dude in the sky who forgives everything as long as you believe in me" as the decline of Dharma predicted by Buddhism, rather than Buddha as the anti-Christ? The core tenant of Buddhism is that your actions do matter, they're the only thing you truly leave behind, while worldly desires like living forever in a magic castle made of gold are just earthly delusions that compel you to ruin it for everyone and live a life of non-moderation.
I'm not saying this is what I believe, but I find it interesting you can reverse the whole idea. I never really thought about it before...

I'm pretty sure Aliens don't expect you to worship them. They would be the coolest thing thats ever happened to this planet. Also yes you do sound like a crazy nut. I never even heard of what your talking about know before.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Oh yea to see where I'm coming from type in Maitreya on Youtube. This sounds crazy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9O397S5CvA
Yes this relates to you know what, but hear me out. Aliens are demonic. Aliens are actually demons that are use to deceive people into New Age ideas instead of Christian like things. I'm somewhat like Huey Freeman off of the Boondocks. In season 3 ep 13 about the first few mins things like New World Order are mention.
I really not good at explaining this, but the KJV is the most accurate word of God. Things like a national Sunday shall come. All of the religions shall become one when Satan counterfeits the second coming. Jesuit Jews own most of Hollywood etc. Rather Maitreya is just another cult thing is debatable.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
That is crazy sounding. I never heard anything about how Aliens are demons. Also if they were demons they wouldn't be Aliens anymore. Oh yeah and were already in a new age. Half and probaly more of are country don't have or believe in a religion anymore.
Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Aliens to me are demonic. I think they're demons in another form. Answer me this. If Aliens existed must they follow the laws of physics? Shouldn't everything follow the lays of physics on this earth. There are a few things I can point out that doesn't make sense, but I shall start with this. If you see a alien ufo then how can something move so fast without making a massive sonic boom?
From my point of view only spiritual things can surpass the laws of physics. Spirits can be good, or evil. Jesus can walk on water, and raise from the dead. Demons can do things to use spiritually. There are many ways to fool people.

Re: Philosophy debate of Religion, and Science
Note that most physicists believe UFOs are a giant sham.
