*Ginn smiles and hops out of his floating stance and grabs for his staff and spins it over his head rapidly*

"I call upon the spirits of the Northern Wind... White Whirl!"

*A large white gale emerged from Ginn's spinning staff and took out four shades. After that he started beating on some shades with the staff itself*

"Well this is certainly fun!"

She pulled out her sword and aimed it at one of the shades and started shooting.
"Sense when s fighting shades ever fun?"

"A priest was coming to visit today." Evan commented, lifting up the knife in his hand. "Wonder why he's so late." Micheal, who was standing beside him, shrugged.

"I don't know, maybe he's trying to avoid getting attacked."

"Not a bad idea."

[Jxcrust]

*Stomps his staff into the ground and small vortex absorbs two shades*

"Black Hole!"

*Ginn turns to his fellow female traveler*

"These are things we have to do anyway... You might as well enjoy it!"

She helled out the blade again. Some strain seemed to appear on her face and black spots started to appear on her arm.

Chrono:great you 2 focus on these things ill handle the overgrown lizard! { he flips over a few shades} COME ON AZ!

Azure: DARK LANCE!

Chrono: { the lances appear} EAT THIS! { he launches the lances flying into the giant shade and one lance stabs through one of the creatures eyes} RAH! { he lands on the creatures back and he flips off launching 5 lances into the back of the creature as he lands back by the others}

SHade: RAAAAAAHH!!!!!


Azure: it seems to be angry this time be careful my magic can be draining to most even the most skilled magus' around

Chrono: yeah yeah relax Im fine

Azure: yes I can see that..wait!.... the shade it has one of my verses!

Chrono: well allright then lets clean up shop!..... { he rushes the shade} COME ON!!!! { he actually runs incredibly fast} you 2 I need you to back me up { he notices the spots and dark symbols that appear on valeria} no Crap crap crap { he pushes her out of the way of an attack and he grabs her arm} hey floating wizard guy follow me! { he finds a quick place to hide from the shades view} * breathing heavily*.....Valeria sit here and relax fight the pain I'll be right back I'm going to smash this shade

Priest: ohh hello { he knocks on the mastersons door} uhh is anyone there......?

"Ok I'll try." She sighed and looked at her arm.
Its growing worse....

An older woman opened the door, looking at the priest a little before smiling. "Ah, the priest. Just a moment?" Her body moved from the door, going to where Micheal and Evan were. "The Priest is here."

Micheal nodded, letting the woman go back to sleep. He went to the door, opening it fully. "Come in, we've been expecting you." He was smiling, but he was exhausted himself.

*Runs up to were Valeria is resting and hands her a black mushroom*

"Valeria, you should eat this it will hold of the symptoms for a while... But we have to find a better fix soon..."

"It looks like I'll end up poisening myself." she sighed but took the mushroom and ate it anyway.

Chrono: RAAAHHH!!! { he punches as the fist punches the shade flying into the mountain but it then escape and out of darknes from the hand words stream into azure} huh hey Az whats this?

Azure: It seems some of my power is returning your desperation to get that girl somewhere safe s her symptoms would cease seems to of made it easier for me to grab the verse

Chrono: soo thats one down then?

Azure: it would seem soo but its strange I dont rerember shades having the will to retreat ever...it strange

Chrono: I guess? { he walks back over to the 2} hey it looks like were done but this town is pretty scraped up......lets head back to the village I need to check up on someone

"Good Val, your symptoms seem to be holding off for now, yeah we should leave this place, it is for sure contaminated..."

Eric heard the door open, seeing the Priest, Micheal, and Evan standing at the now open door. He looked towards them, waiting for what they were going to say.

"How is she doing?" Micheal asked, looking at the still curled up Nora. She was completely out, twitching a little with her hands, as if something were trying to harm her.

"Sleeping like usual."

"No nausea?"

"She's been alright for a few hours on that."

"Wow, looks like we get a break today." Evan commented, still whispering despite the fact Nora was deep asleep. "Sorry about this, but Nora isn't feeling well today."

Priest: its fine I understand she must be completely drained of all energy Ill see you around then? { he walks off}

Chrono: { walking back towards the village with val and ginn}..... ginn mind if I ask you what led you to our little quiet village?

Micheal led the Priest down the door, hoping that the Priest would defend himself. In reality, there wasn't much they could do even as a group. Sheltering the few that survived had become a ritual that amassed more frightened civilians than able fighters. Even Nora's money couldn't hold out forever if everyone in the house died. "If you need anything, please let us know." Micheal spoke, letting the Priest leave before he turned back into the house.

Evan walked up to Eric, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Time to switch, you've got enough rest to pull of night guard." Eric nodded, standing up from the rather uncomfortable chair. The bed wasn't much better, but it was still somewhat whole. Exiting the room, he walked towards the stairs that led to the lab. Micheal seemed to be staring at a few scraps of paper from the previous lab.

"I don't get it. Why weren't they able to find anything?"

"Night guard." Eric spoke, turning to exit the lab. The scientist turned, blinking and then sighing.

"Right..."
