Intro: (You don’t have to read this part to understand what the story is)
Terry kept running over the dirt. He peeked behind but could see his assailant. That didn’t stop him from running like hell. Sweat was covering his body and his ankles felt like rocks but he couldn’t stop. He kept running, checking the trees around him. He ran onto a wooden bridge and had to stop for a moment to catch his breath and get his bearings.
“Where,” He took a couple deep breaths, “Are you?”
He heard a sound beside him, not unlike the crackling of a fire or the sound of leaves crunching below feet. But no one was standing there... yet. Terry sprinted off in the opposite direction as a faint booming sound pierced the unfitting silence of the chase. He had no idea where the path had taken him or where the path was leading. There wasn’t any time to think. If he stopped like that again, surely the hunter would catch his prey. Terry came up to a tunnel, long enough to be dark enough to hide in.
“Yes!” He jumped in far enough to conceal his body in shadow and waited. Out of the tunnel materialised the silhouette of a teen aged male along with the familiar crackling sound. He stood, trying to spot Terry’s figure in the darkness, and then made the mistake of walking in to find him. There was a large spark and the hunter screamed in agony as he fell to the ground, Terry’s hand on his ankle. The hunter’s body was now lifeless.
“That!” Terry took a deep breath, “That’ll teach you to mess with a lightning user.”

Info: Qi gong, Ki, Chakra, Chi, life force, energy. Unknown to most, about 0.01% of the human population have managed to unlock parts of their brains that allow them control this flow of energy with many names. These people can channel this energy to enable unique abilities. However, most can only manage to unlock one ability. That is, unless they kill a person with the knowledge of how to use another ability in which case the killer will gain the ability of the one they have killed.
Some may not wish to kill for new abilities but because many are willing, people with these abilities tend to gather in similar places. This RP takes place in one of those areas, Washington state U.S.A. The date is July 24th modern year. When you look out your window, the world you see is the world that surrounds the events this story takes place in. However, in the shadows, perhaps you spot a man speed past, or a flash appear and then dissapear almost too fast to see, those are the shadows that these events live in; just barely seen and rarely noticed. Many of those that are willing to kill for power's are recruited to a secret organisation known as the Hunters. They are ruled by a high up man that no one has ever lived long enough to meet. This, obviously, lead to the assupmtion that he was immortal. The Hunters wish to either recruit you as a loyal member, or murder you as a menace. Their goal for the future is not yet known, but most have heard rumours of world domination.

Powers: Lightning touch, Instant Transportation.

Bio: Has been running from hunter's of power since the age of 14. Originally his power was lightning touch but he recently inherited instant transportation.

Second character will come later in the story.

Bio: Jericho is an orphan raised by a foster family. His foster father was a retired army ranger and his mother was a teacher. He had two siblings an older brother and sister. He had aspirations of following in his father's footsteps and join the military before the incident that turned his entire life upside down.

Sara predicted his emergence as a user and had a Hunter sent to deal with Jericho before he could become a problem. Unfortunately the higher ups happened to pick the one Hunter who would botch the job. The hunter happened to be sadistic and decided to turn Jericho's entire family to ash which triggered Jericho's emergence. He still wouldn't have survived the incident without the timely intervention of Terry Vanguard. Still, Jericho managed to get the fatal blow in and took the Hunter's powers for his own.

He's currently traveling with Terry in hopes of being able to strike back at the Hunters and fully take revenge.

Character Name: Sara Angel
Age: 18
Powers: Clairvoyant

Bio: Sara is a blind seer who works for the Hunters to locate and arrange the pacification of those with powers. She wasn't always blind but became so during her employment with the Hunters. How this happened is only known to the higher ups and herself, however everyone else she's worked with assumes that somehow she missed something in one of her visions and lost her eyesight to a user she was hunting. Whether this is true or not will be revealed later.

Nobody's really sure how or why but nobody, not even the other Hunters with Clairvoyance, can get a read on anything directly involving Sara. She keeps mostly to herself and doesn't reveal much about her past, even to those she considers close friends in the Hunters. When she's not at work she can often be found sitting in a diner drinking hot chocolate and eating strawberry ice cream. What she thinks about when doing this she keeps to herself and she's there so often she no longer needs a guide to find her seat and in fact they have one reserved for her. Especially on days that it will snow. More info to be revealed later.
