So.. in order to chill out a bit before the exams strike - along with revision bombing - I was wondering if ya'll could help me think of a storyline for an Idea I came up with - for an RP.

The world in the RP is not our world, and yet, it carries similar traits to it. There are gateways to the realm of the spirits positioned everywhere in this world, however, only the spirits themselves can actually use them.
There is one big, inter-communal gateway for each city state in the world, personal gateways for those in small villages, and a universal gateway that floats on the wind, able to transport whole armies across the bridge between the two realms.
There is also a gateway said to be even more powerful than the universal gateway in the sky, one capable of transporting any spiritual army from anywhere in the world to any other place in the realm of the spirits almost instantaneously. However, that was destroyed in a war between two unknown sides. All that remains now is ruined pillars and a pile of rubble where the gateway used to stand.I want to include some kind of organisation, but I don't know what their purpose would be, or what they would be called. I'm also unsure of what the main protagonists (You guys) would be doing in relation to this organisation, so any input you have on that topic would be really helpful.
In fact, any input you have at all would be really helpful in terms of this RP's creation - and whether it will be brought about.
