Hey, henrygrik, welcome to the forum!

Pardon me for asking, but where are you from? And what language do you speak? It looks like you're having a hard time with English.

Just thought I would say a huge hello to everyone. Obviously I'm new here so hi hi hi!

I'm from the UK and love love love the .hack series. Would you believe I've played the PS2 games but I have only just watched the Sign series and started to read the books.

So I've read AI Buster 1, then watched the Sign series, then read a couple of stories from AI Buster 2. Now I've started Infection again. I've also just bought Another Birth books. Is it best to read them along side Infection, Mutation, Outbreak and Quarantine?

Anyway time for my bed!

Catcha's later!

You can read them alongside the games if you choose, but it isn't necessary.

Yo, I'm Kuroinu ("black dog" a codename for depression, plus my name in katakana would be クロイー, so I just replaced the ー with ヌ, turning it from Kuroii to Kuroinu)

I started watching the SIGN anime many years ago and have been a fan ever since...
Thus far I think my favorite character is Tsukasa, s/he is someone I can really relate to.
Tied for favorite is also Elk/Endrance for the same reason.

Anyways, I've pretty much:
-Watched all of .hack//SIGN
-Watched all of LIMINALITY
-Watched my bro complete IMOQ as well as GU
-Read AI Buster
and I recently bought and read all of the Legend of the twilight Bracelet manga

And the rest that I know pretty much comes from going to the .hack wiki.

So anyways, I'm looking forward to adding more to and rebuilding my .hack collection (seeing as how my brother destroyed my SIGN DVD's with his negligence) I'm not going to buy the games and AI Buster because my brother already owns them, and I'm not really interested in the LotTB anime based off of what I've read so I'm skipping out on that too as I already have the manga... I am actually looking forward to LINK if only to see my favorite characters again (since I am not a fan of the storyline or Tokio himself).

Happy New Year (almost!) to all the .hackers! :D
A brief introduction is called for again as i joined in August but have been a very infrequent visitor to this site since then.
Age: 39 (never too old to enjoy .hack)
Sex: Male
Location: UK
Reason for being here: after a chance encounter a few years ago with a 2nd-hand copy of the PS2 game Infection, I fell instantly in love with the story and the characters and have spent time since then building my collection of all things .hack :)
Have completed Infection and Mutation, just about to start Outbreak and have a copy of Quarantine ready in waiting afterwards!!
Was very pleased to open up the double box set of .Hack Sign dvd`s on christmas morning - * I LOVE U WIFEY!! *
Enjoy playing the .Hack trading card game on dark cold evenings with the Wife, almost have all the theme decks now, just the Elk theme deck to track down!!
Bedtime reading at the moment is "Another Birth" mutation - i`m reading them alongside playing the original games :D

Well that wasn`t so brief, enough from me, wishing you all a peaceful New Year! :)x

Hey everyone! I'm Takoda, and I'm 17 and live in PA. I decided to join because I found a .hack wikia the other day and remembered why I loved .hack//Sign so much. Then I remembered I have IMO (can't find Quarantine anywhere) for my PS2, so I started playing Infection... and got hooked. I just beat Infection's final boss last night so I'm tying up loose ends before I move onto Mutation. Other than .hack, I like to write and play guitar. I'm usually pretty quiet hence why it took so long for me to post. ^^;

Anyhow, it seems like the community is pretty friendly, so it's nice to meet everyone. Happy New Year's!

Welcome, I understand that finding the first four games is pretty hard now. I hope you'll find the community helpful.

Hello to all!

I go by Smitts as my online identity just about everywhere online.
The obvious thing to know about me is, as you can assume, I am a huge .hack//SIGN fan as well as a fan of the games.

One thing that really hooked me to the story was the music composed by Yuki Kajiura, macha, and tsukasa.
Then when I began watching and getting more involved with the plot...everything fascinated me.

I'm glad to be a part of the site.
Thank you for having me!

Welcome people of the new variety. Hope you find the site useful and fun. I'll be around more often (again... I hope) so feel free to ask me anything if you feel you need to. Also, be sure to check out the RP section if you play, as I am once again trying to breathe life into it.

My name is Eric Riider. I live in Germatown,MD,USA. I recently bought .hack//G.U-Redemption. In case you are wondering, no, I have not played the other games previous or present. I am enjoying the game, but, I have run into a snag. If you are interested in assisting me check my post. Hello to everyone. :)

:) Being new to this board, I would like to thank KiteXX for taking the time to make me feel welcomed.
I bought this game the same day I bought Transformer ROTF. I finished Transformers in two days. I thought this was a maze like game but I am finding that it is more involved. I have not used GF as much because there is alot to do. It is easy but I like to go into higher levels for a challenge. I am at level 127. I think it would be better if your levels didn't change so fast. I did not play the other games and maybe I will. Everyone have a great evening.
