Colliding Universes: A Marvel VS. DC RP

[Haseo{Terror of Death}]

After a battle between Iron Man and the sorcerer Mandarin, part of New York lies in ruin. Mandarin retreats and vanishes in a cloud of purple dust. Iron Man blasts him just before he vanishes damaging his concentration altering Mandarin's destination. Mandarin then finds himself in an unfamiliar place, Metropolis, where he had transported in the middle of a conflict between a strange flying man (Superman) and a rock like villain (Dark Side). Caught in heat of the battle Mandarin hid stealthily realizing he could no longer cross dimensions again, and decides to spectate as the two battle. A few minutes later Superman seemingly victorious and delivering his final punch, Dark Side blasted Superman away. Utilizing this distraction, he made a portal , Mandarin soon followed him through the portal. Mandarin was promptly discovered by Dark Side, but then explained his situation and offered an alliance between the two. Dark Side unhesitatingly accepted, deciding that the two should to head to Metropolis the next day. Back in New York Spider-Man, curious to the destruction swings his way to where Iron Man had been fighting.

This is an RP based off of Mortal Combat VS. DC, which I have played and admired, although the creation and thoughts placed into the back story are none my own and belong to a close personal friend of mine.

Power:Fully armed suit of armor,able to fly at a normal pace and also able to fly faster then a fighter jet, repulser cannons on his hands and chest that blast out pure energy he also has the ability to create a force field that lasts only 5 minutes. The suit is powered by the Ark Generator which is in his chest this piece of machinary emits a magnetic field around iron man and it also gives off large amounts of energy.
Biography:Tony was on a Busness trip to Korea when he was attacked by Korean terrorist using his weapons Stark was injured in the cross fire and had little bits of metal lodged in his chest heading for his heart. The terrorist captured Stark for his ability to make weapons and his cell mate made him a magnetic chest plate to help prevent to metal from piercing his heart. Stark later perfected it into the Ark Generator when he made his great escape from the Korea his cell mate did not make it, Tony then made a suit of armor better then the one he used to escape Korea and he now uses it to fight crime.

Power:Can cross through dimensions of time and space. Highly unstable power when crossing more than one dimension at a time, and if focus is broken can result in entrapment
Biography:Rift was born accidentally when a a black hole, ripping through time and space, condensed an entire solar system, and then collapsed on itself. He then continuously opened more holes, until he found his way to a planet, Planet Earth, He has been living on planet earth for nearly a 1000 years. He often uses his powers to get what he wants, and uses the time stream to collect items of value, that have been "lost" in history.

"...One...Two...Three...Four...Don't forget....To shut the door...Five...Six...Seven...Eight...Make sure that...The lock is straight...Nine...Ten...Eleven...Twelve...It's okay...I'm all by myself...Thir-" Rift felt a light turn on. "Guess that's it...for now..." He opened his palm, and a Rectangle formed around it, which then grew larger. Once it was about seven feet tall, he closed his palm. and the rectangle filled itself with white light. "Night..." he stepped through.

Rift sat down on a couch, dropping infront of him, several garbage bags filled with money. "Feels nice to have all this...yet..." he sighed, and stood up, admiring his luxurious home. "Never feels like enough..."

As the smoke cleared from Mandarin's escape Iron Man scanned the area hoping his repulser blast would have stopped Mandarin. The scan came up negative, " He got away again that coward.." Iron Man mumbled to himself. Iron Man flew up high in the sky and notcied Spiderman swinging toward the destruction.

Meanwhile in Grand Central Station a S.W.A.T. team was on a hot persuit to catch a theif who had made away from Oscorp with a lethal virus. As they cornered him the theif threatened to drop the vile containing the virus. The officers opened fire and he smashed the vile on the floor, and was killed by the gun shots. The virus was released and exposed to all that where in the train station even the dead theif a few minutes later he awoke.

"Yo Tony! What happened here?" He said landing on a building's side "I was thinking this looked like one of the Goblins' work, but now that I look at it, this doesn't look too... how do you say...it's not his way of doing things."

Rift opened a door in his window, and jumped through, "Let's see... Maybe I should steal a car... or... a... hm...." he scratched his head. "What're they called?"

Name:Alex Mercer
Power:Shapeshift, alter his arms into weapons, ability of normal human male x50, able to withstand small calaber gun shots.
Biography:A theif all his life untill he was able to get into Oscorp Industries hoping to snatch something and sell it he was stopped by the S.W.A.T. and chased to Grand Central Station where he was gunned down and brought back to life by the lethal virus he stole.

"Where am I? How am I still alive? What happened to the virus?" Alex asked himself. He woke up inside of an ambulance when he got up the paramedics that were with him tryed to get him back down. Alex pushed them out of his way and slammed into the doors opening them he landed a few blocks from the Station. The S.W.A.T. team was following the ambulance and saw him fly out acting quickly they stopped all the officers in the truck swarmed around Alex firing at him again. Alex felt the bullets hitting him but no pain he looked around for an escape route. He ran toward the gun shots and jumped over them, then started running he got to where Iron Man and Spiderman where talking.

Biography: A young High School Graduate, one day when walking home, thugs attacked him and blindfolded him. After hours and hours, the thugs were caught by Police. An unconscious Cole was tossed into a vat of Nuclear Waste. When thrown into the waste, his hand hit a switch turning on the electricity. Mutating him into a freak who can control electricity.

As Alex ran by the leveled part of New York Iron Man's scanners picked up on Alex. Iron Man flew infront of Alex, "Halt citizen what are you doing in this part of New York?" he asked. Alex stopped trying to catch his breath, "The..officers..are after..me..shooting at me..help me.." he said. Alex started to run again Iron Man grabbed him and threw Alex to the floor, "Why are the athoraties after you? Did you do something illegal? Wait.. Im getting a S.W.A.T. team report of a lethal virus out break..We must get out of here immediatly!!" Iron Man said. He grabbed Alex and started to fly away from the out break area and shouted," Pete follow me we have to get out of here!!"

When Iron Man flew a couple of blocks away from the leveled New York Alex struggled and put both his hands on Iron Man's arm. A swarm of red veins surrounded Iron Man's arm causeing him to let go Alex fell two miles from the sky and punched the floor he looked at his hands to see they changed..


"What the hell is happening to me?!?"Alex asked himslef.

"Tony!" He looked down to see a crater, "Tony, you dropped him?!" he swung lower, keeping his eyes on the crater, "Hey there! You okay?" He finally got close enough to see a body standing, "Hunh?" He got down to see the thief's arm. "Whoa?! Tony get down he-" a helicopter flew near Peter, "Hey.... Super...hero!" Rift opened his palm, and a door was formed, larger than Rift himself, he jumped out of the helicopter and the Helicopter flew into his door. "Nice..." He then jumped to the thief's location, "You...you... stole... my media"

Alex still confused to what was happening around him lifted his "hammerfists" and punched Rift. He then swung his arm back then forth making Alex seem as if he were flying up to the top of a building. He looked at his hands and closed his eyes,"Go away this isn't happening go away..." he said opening his eyes. The red veins surrounded his arms the hammerfists vanished leaving only his own hands.

"Ok, im starting to understand these powers i touched Iron Man's arm and the red stuff went on his arm leaving me with the hammerfists so if i touch something a get a similar ability to what i touched." he thought

Spiderman watched the encounter in amazement, as rift opened his hand and went through a fairly small door, he then came out about them all, with a massive door, the size of a soccer field. "How...rude" he said as the door "landed" on the thief, transporting him to the ocean just off Jersey's shore. "...I guess now I have to do something big?" he opened two doors this time, one with each hand. One was huge enough to consume a building, which he proceeded to do.

The building collided with another, as Rift then stepped through his small door.

"Tony! What the hell just happened?"

Alex looked to see he was about to fall into a body of water,"This cant be good..I have to swing myself with the hammerfists." he consentrated forming the hammerfists using them to swing toward the shore. "Now to find out what else i can do." He said as he ran through Atlantic City.

Back in New York Iron Man continued to fly saying "Pete forget whats going on for now there is a virus spreading through out New York we have to get to my lab and make a plan to find out what is really happening and where those two guys went."

Walking through the streets of Empire City, he noticed a little boy crying over the fact that his toy robot wouldn't work. Cole walked over and zapped it, and got it working. The boy said "Thank you!" Cole smiled and said, " No problem." But the boy's mom scooped up the boy and she gave him a dirty look. Cole felt bad. He use his powers without being treated like a wild animal. He felt a weird sensation in his mind. And was felt like he was pulled out of his body. The next thing he saw was a Red and Blue blur. " Wait... red and blue.... Superman?" "NO!" He stopped. It was The Flash. " Seriously why does everyone always mistake me for him? I have Red and Gold for God's sake." " Why am I here? If you don't mind I'd like to get back to my Freakshow life." " Wait! Don't go...well actually you can't. But anyways, we need you. The Justice League needs you." " The Justice League needs me? Yeah right. I'm just the freak that can't even get respect because of my powers. I'm a pariah. I should just commit suicide, my girlfriend left me, my parents rejected me, i'm homeless and all I have left are the clothes on my back." After his outburst he felt like he was back in his world. He was on a rooftop. " Eh... where I am isn't that bad. At least I can't get stared at."

Meanwhile...

" Jynx... How's the spying on Velocity going?" " The Flash just talked to him. I seemed like he rejected him. He seems suicidal." " Good go and talk to him. Deathstroke out."

Deathstroke then walked to a table and picked up a picture of a Blond haired boy and sighed tearfully.
" Curse my world."

"All right then Tony! Let's go!" He said as he followed after Iron Man.

Rift was now in a different Home in Gotham City, "Back... home...At last...." The helicopter seemed to barely fit on the ceiling, but it managed to not fall off.

"This...this home....heh...I need...need to....steal....steal...more..." He opened a door infront of him, and a small door only about the size of his palm, and went though the normal sized door, into Gotham's Bank.
