As the girl approaches a room he knows to be a service closet Milly finally transforms. His sudden increase in size only seems to make the girl squeeze him harder, but he's also a lot stronger now. Milly covers the girl's mouth with his right hand, forces her arms to loosen with his left, and pushes her into the dark closet. "Now listen very closely. One, you won't mention that I can do that to anyone. Two, you will not break my ribs."

He keeps her pressed up against the wall with his right hand as he attaches the ARM of flame to his collar, and with assistance from his teeth he moves the smokescreen from his left hand to his tail. "Now then, if you understand all of that. You will pick me up and continue on as before. If you don't intend to follow those then you might wake up one day being filleted. Oh, and one last thing." He places a small cat carving into the palm of her hand. "My name is Millintica." He reverts to the black cat and hops up onto her shoulder. The ring reflecting the light so that it dances across her face.

Emoto looked around him, completely unphased by Oniko's onslaught. He had seen all the attacks before they actually reached him! He landed on his feet, his body appeared to have taken no damage, due to the fact that he'd gone with the flow of Oniko's attacks. the red beams suddenly shot at him again, and he was prepared for them,"Dark Reflector!" there was a flash, then the beams seemed to fire right back at Oniko, hitting him square in the center of his chest. Emoto jumped up,"now it's MY turn!" he landed in front of Oniko, lifting his hand up to his face,"bang!" he repeated the same word over and over again as multiple blasts of psychic energy repeatedly rammed into Oniko's skull,"now for a little secret. A 40ft fall may kill someone from this world, but the world I come from appears to have stronger gravity!" another blast hit Oniko's face,"you're out of your league..." blood was starting to cover the pillar. most of it was from Oniko's head, but a small amount came from Shirai's hand, and the strain it was being put under in order to damage Oniko. Emoto eventually dropped his hand, looking at Oniko as he slid to the floor.

(Emoto now has Future Sight, and can see almost any attack that will come his way, before it's been executed. It doesn't mean he can counter everything that's thrown at him, but it does mean he can go with the flow of oncoming attacks, reducing the damage he takes from them to the absolute minimum)

Oniko grinned, "Interesting, so you aren't from this world either?" He grinned, "I was born here, but he wasn't." He licked his thumb and clean his forehead which automatically started bleeding, "I told you once before, your fight is meaningless, your hits do no damage, all they do is cause you strain, and apparently, even tough you can read my thoughts, you can't determine speed." A small mallet hit Emoto on the head, a man wearing a cloak stood behind him, "I hope you know kid, around here, you in enemy turf, and although the hits don't hurt you know, they'll slow you down." He waited for Emoto to turn around, "And it'd be a shame from someone to die out of arena gameplay." He activated an ÄRM, as a pillar of flame rose from beneath Emoto, "Don't worry, this will heal you."

The girl smiled, "You look so cute." She squeezed him and took him to her room, "Millintica...If you touch me anywhere I will make you play." Her eyes had fire in them, and a grin stretched across her face.

Milly rolls his eyes. Of course not. Why does everybody assume I act like Garnet? He jumps from the girl to the nearby bed and curls up for a catnap.

Emoto looked at both of them, then smiled,"I don't seek to do physical damage... I seek to do mental damage..." he looked at the cloaked man,"and I don't give If I'm on enemy turf or not. I act solely for what I think is right. the dead need to be put to rest properly, not stepped on.." he slowly walked off, knowing it would be pointless to continue arguing. He smiled to himself as he walked off, thinking about their skills,"so.. now that I've seen what they can do, all I need to do is form good strategy.." he sighed,"and they're complete idiots if they think that my hits don't do any damage.." there was a small cracking sound from Oniko's head, then a large jet of blood shot out of it,"the hits just take a while to have an effect.." he walked up the stairs back to his seat, contemplating the appearance of the woman in his head.

Oniko sighed greatly, and then put his finger over his head, and the wound was gone, "I swear if it was you, you'd be dead, however, like all mind readers, they overstep their bounds." He sighed as he looked around once more, the dead bodies had rows of blood were the red beams were, slowly rising. "Haha, mental damage does nothing to a rockheaded idiot!" The cloaked man said as he slowly disappeared. Oniko looked at the moon, "4 days..."

The girl took off her shirt, a large scar on her back, although it looked like an 'M' surrounding an 'O', with an 'X' in the middle, wings were on the sides. The scars seemed to be burned closed however. "...Are you looking Kitty?" She through a pant at him, and put bandages around her new wounds and then put her shirt back on. She jumped up and landed on the bed, falling asleep holding Milly close.

Milly's eyes shot open as the pants hit him. That's an interesting scar, I wonder how she got it. Maybe I'll figure it out later, for now. Let's nap. He closes his eyes again just before she jumps on the bed. He wakes up feeling rather squished. I thought I told her not to crush my ribs. He opens his eyes. "Oh, kitty litter." He tries to move his tail but finds it stuck, and he can't exactly move very well tangled up like this. This is somewhat problematic. I hope she doesn't scream.

After what feels like hours of wriggling, changing between his two forms, and possibly dislocating his joints a few times Milly finally manages to get out of her grasp. Ow, that hurts. He walks into the bathroom. Wow, this place is huge. He tests the tub's faucets. Woohoo, warm running water. He not only locks the door, but also barricades it. He sets all of his rings down on top of his shorts beside the tub and slides silently into the water.

He blows a few bubbles up. "Still a little cool. Ooh, I know." He activates his ARM of fire and raises the temperature several degrees. "Mmmm, that feels good." He stretches out fully and still can't reach both ends simultaneously. Ah, the upside of being small. Lots of room to stretch out.

Her eyes blanked for a moment, "Call...him..." She spoke as if a nostalgic thought came over her. After a moment she fell asleep again.

----

"What you do is rather simple." She kissed his forehead, holding him closer. "You just live on. If you give up life now, then you can never atone or see what you may have missed. Not everything is wrong in this world. You'll be safe, I know you will. After all, you're a kind person Saito. So kind that you honor whoever you kill." She stood up again, walking along to another room. "Let's eat, we need to restore your energy. After all, this is a break."

Rakuen nodded as he went passed the door into the King's room, the pressure of his energy in the room seemed to cause uneasiness within Rakuen. "The Queen is ill, she needs you..." The king glared at him, "Do you know the cause of her illness?" His voice of many voices seemed to frighten Rakuen, "N-no sir..." The King stood up, "can you take her to me, or do I have to go over there?" Rakuen looked downward, then back up, "I am not sure if she could walk, however I can carry her here if you wish." The King nodded, "Then do so, and get me all the Holy ÄRM." Rakuen left the room and nodded, 'So that is our king'

Saito got out of bed, "I'm hungry..." His eyes had dimmed down and he yawned before getting up, although he had been provided clothing, he put it all aside, leaving the drawers and the closet empty.

The cloaked Knight left leaving Oniko alone with Tala, "They all won their preliminaries, and then the three challengers that remained defeated their opponent's easily. After the third loss, I decided to cut up the failed Rooks" Tala seemed shocked, "If they lose they deserve death. Don't you agree?" Tala sighed, "You're just mad because you didn't get to kill whoever got the DeathBall, who got it by the way?" Oniko grinned, "Our surprise guest, Ai." Tala looked shocked, "What?!" Oniko nodded, "Ai left Chess, and she beat me in a fair fight, however she also got a Guardian ÄRM" "...is it powerful?" "Very."

The queen's eyes opened slowly, a little more energy in her body. It wasn't enough though, Agatha was strong compared to her. She was confused on where she was for a moment, seeing that she wasn't where she had fallen asleep last time.

----

Agatha hugged him back, making sure he was sitting before she began to eat as well.

Milly clambers out of the tub and shakes himself dry. "That was good." He slides his rings back on and then holds up his shorts and sniffs them. "Bleh, these need to be washed too. But for now, I guess I'll have to make do with something else." He rummages through the closet until he finds a small light blue frock. "Well, it'll have to do." He exits the bath, checks to make sure the girl's still asleep before leaving the room. Now then, where can I get this washed?

He comes across the gardener. "Ah, perfect. Hey, do you think you could do me a big big favor and wash these for me?" The man looks up at Milly. "Don't little girls know how to wash their own clothes?" "Hey, that's not very nice. You know full well I'm a guy. It's not my fault I'm shorter than everybody else." He laughs and takes the shorts from Milly. "Come by again tomorrow. In the meantime, I think I have a couple things from when my granddaughter was last here if you'd like to borrow something to wear." Milly glares at him, "I'll manage by myself. There should still be some things in Little Saito's room." He turns to leave but stops abruptly at the old man's voice. "He's in the games, right? He's all Ai has, you'll look after him, won't you?"

Milly turns to respond but he's already on the move back to his garden. Milly's ears droop slightly as he walks quietly to Little Saito's old room to look for something that would allow freer movement. Why is she letting him compete at all? Little kids shouldn't have to watch people killing each other. He digs his claws into the stone wall, creating grooves as he walks. "Why do we have to kill each other anyways?"

Oniko nodded, "Wait...I heard something..." Garnet flew through between them, "Haha! Watch out tight-asses!" His cheeks were red as he span through the air using Bye Bye angel. "Let the skies Buuuuuuurrrrrn!" He shouted before flying through a window. Oniko sighed, "...He's a Knight?"

"Reflections...die once the person that reflects them dies." The queen spoke, her eyes half lidded. "I'm dying because that is what is meant to happen."

Emoto felt a sudden chill, then looked around the arena. no-one appeared to be looking at him, and Surame was sleeping, in a suggestive position. Emoto looked away, up at the sky. it was empty, clear, and yet, smehow forboding. he sighed, trying to ignore the scent of death emanating from the crowd around him. he could feel the life drifting out of someone.. but it didn't feel like a normal soul. he looked at Surame, tapping her head,"Hey. the next round's starting soon.. you're gonna have to fight it out when that time comes.."

Chi's body now sat near the arena, looking at it with a practiced silence. "It is rather stifling." The male affirmed, she herself nodding again. "There's something off about these games this year."

"Agreeably." She spoke in a soft voice. "I can feel Agatha's dying energy like I'm right there. It's not dwindling enough to cause any issue."

"There's no telling when it will, Chi-sama. However...you are the next in line."

"I know that."

Millintica finds the pirate costume he had put on to play dress up with Saito. "Hm, I wonder why the old man was so concerned with him. Is it just that he's a kid?" Milly slides his ears through slits in the hat and then pulls on white shorts with a pair of blue stripes forming a cross on the right side. "Well, they're better than the gown at least." He changes into the black cat and finds that the hat is still on his head. Does it not do hats? Oh, well. He scurries back to the girl's room. Hm, where'd she go? He hops back up on the bed to get back to sleeping. Hopefully I won't change back this time.

The girl woke up and looked around, "...wait..." She got up and saw she was in the bathroom, "whoops...I must've left Millintica all by himself!" She ran to the room and saw him in the bead with his little hat, "Oh...it looks so cute." She picked it up gently off his head.

Ai tapped his shoulder, "A Knight....and aren't you our Captain?" Saito blinked for a second getting shocked at the woman, wearing a shirt that just barely went under her chest, and shorts that showed much of her thigh, "You're all red"

The queen was about to say something else, but her energy was draining again, making her drowsy. "So weak...I've never felt this...weak before..." Her eyes shut.

----

Hei picked up Saito as Agatha looked at him. She followed him towards a specially prepared room and lay down as well. "I'm sorry...Hei, it must be so much work to stay standing while my energy keeps dwindling..." Her voice sounded sad at the thought.

"Do not worry." He placed Saito on the bed as well, which was rather huge. "Just focus on rest. We can handle ourselves." She nodded, sitting up to place a hand on his shoulder. Half way there, she began to collapse, him catching her gently. "If Mitsu and Tamao aren't out...they must be in the Queen's situtation..." he moved her back to the bed. "It's very close...isn't it?"

"It is." Kami-sama spoke, picking up Agatha's body and leaning it against his own. "Let me take care of what I can. Make sure Little Saito is prepared for the games." He nodded.

----

Chi remained sitting in front of the Arena, her eyes still quite open.
