1) skeith v3 ( he looks AWESOME in white XP!! )
2) haseo xth form ( two bladed guns + skeith v3 = pwnage )
3) the original skeith
4) azure kite ( WOOO HE'S AN AI!!!! TECHNICALLY A CPU ZOMBIE XD!!!! )
5) balmung ( he would be higher up, but azure kite would pwns him XP )

My favorite character was Crim from //SIGN, mostly because he is similar to how I behave in online games... likes to play the hero. But at the same time I can identify with Sora, playing pranks and trying to play the rouge.

Obligatory favourites post, huh.

I have only recently got into .hack last Christmas, so this is definitely subject to change.

- Haseo: Looking back, I thought G.U. Rebirth was the make or break point of the genre for me. I rarely like the lead character in RPGs, so Haseo gets a lot of credits for being simply a great starting persona.

- Balmung: Funny, but I learned to like him when I got the LoTT manga. It's my first instance of meeting him, and I thought his character in LoTT was neat. Of course, that has certainly changed a long way when I met him in Another Birth and GIFT later... and I still have the true IMOQ yet to be dealt with.

- Albireo: Halfway through G.U., I decided to grab AI Buster 1 (the first in the timeline, among all the novels). Another excellent entry point into series, so I'm hooked on this front too. I like him the best out of the series.

- Kuhn: He's a fun character; easily the prime mood maker among the G.U.'s Eight Phases.

- Mistral and Mireille: Eh, I thought the mother-daughter continuity was neat.

Honourable mentions: Aura, Kite, BlackRose, Silabus, Hokuto, Lycoris, Kazu, Helba, Gabi, Phyllo

And from .hack//GU it would be Endrance, Silabus, and Antares.

All and all my all-time favorite is Elk/Endrance.

kaY i find it a shocker that theres only 40 pages to this topic and it was made in 2003...and also the reason why i didnt get to play the last .hack game(origional one especially since i own all the g.u) is because i live in canada and canada is dumb for commercials of things -__- it never puts commercials of things on tv that people are actually interested in most of the time xP so....i actually never played ANY of the old ones BUT .hack outbreak cause some loser sold it to blockbusters >_> and i sold it because i mean well...whats the point of keeping it? IM ON THE THIRD ONE! >_> i had no idea what was going on...and the game was too short OH and i have to say...i simply ADORE marlo and piros in there xD, there wasnt enough to do in outbreak, am i the only one who thinks that???

oh true, the COPY made by aura of kite to protect "the world" from anomelies (hence azure kite, azure balmung and azure orca) does look kinda emo but so does azure balmung....its just that azure balmung looks WAAAAY more hotter XD
