Aina kinda pissed me off XD But I also want to know more about the character "Helba" she always had her fingers in everything and I always had the impression that she's an AI to fit the epitaph character as dictated by Harald.. The entire Epitaph of Twilight can never be revealed. We're talking an Epic like Beowulf or something. Besides, by keeping it unknown, they can create new segments to fit the story as a plot device whenever they need to. Helba's a human, since she needs to protect her offline identity, not to mention that Helba is described as having discovered A.I. on accident while being a l33t Haxx0r.

Things that shouldn't be in next-gen .hack:

I agree with the third, but Coma's are the mainstay of the series and act as a motivation for the other characters, and Za Warudo is like....the whole damn point.

Agreed. Tenrawr should be the main character of the next .hack. And he should be in biker leather. And then we'll make out on one of Za Warudo's many beaches. Then Amaethon would come up and start whining about HIIIIIIS Turn, and Tenrawr will kick him in the nuts.

I agree with everything except the last one. = Stupid. As for Kite, Balmung, Orca, and Cubia, they're pretty much here to stay unless something MAJOR happens, like we totally leave Za Warudo.

WoW is what 10 year kids play. It's player base is what 2 million people ages 9-12? WoW fails kthxbai. Coould have been so much better.

If done right a .hack MMO would be really sweet, if a company made a .hack MMO like the games or the anime series(aside from characters having a voice..)it would be really cool.

I play WoW and im 16, the player range is 8 million not 2million and and age 9-12 = runescape not WoW (age is ussaly 14+ on WoW)
CC2 already said if they realsead and MMO it would be VERY diffrent from The World.(though I wish they would realse that )

I definatly think that their will be another .hack series after all many fans that after the first four it would be over but then out of no were these three came. so i defianlty think there will be another .hack series hopefully all packed into one game.

i just wonder if haseo will be in the next one since the World R:2 isnt destroyed because i never got an area word guild i hope they continue with haseo because he an shino are looking 4 ovan

The "looking for Ovan" plot was already covered and resolved in Returner.

Besides, playing as Haseo again would be lame as hell, as he'd either be overpowered or have to be reduced to level 1 AGAIN. Frankly, either we see Za Warudo R:3, or we're moving on to a totally different game. That's all the series can really do from here on out.

Actually I'd be even satisfied with just some kind of expansion to Redemption. Allowing leveling up to level 200 or 250, new items, get the remaining G.U. cast like Sirius, Taihaku, Gabi, etc... That'd be good enough for me.

That actually sounds pretty cool. Although, they'd have to add something else to do, like lots of sidequests or a sort of subplot.

they better but i think if they do it should be were we can make our own person and do a story line that was given to the game just our own made up charecture cuz my cuz plays it and she says she wants to be a girl for once with cat ears and a cool weapon but if they do make another one its a high chance it will be for PS3

No, an OVA named Returner. "Ressurection" was the name of the actual cutscene.

No matter what happens, .hack should not leave The World. I mean, The World is what defines .hack. It wouldn't feel right if the next .hack revolved around something else. Also, I don't see a reason not to have people fall into comas next time. To me it seems like a pretty solid plot device that doesn't get old.

Anyway, AIDA still exists. Something could cause it to go berserk again. While this may seem like a lame and overused plot, I think if they just spend some effort on that 'something', it could still become an awesome story.

Finally, the first series seemed to be around players forming relationships and making friends. The second series seemed to be about the whole 'free PvP' problem. I think a valid theme for the next series could be the problem of "Elitism", where the leaders of large groups are dicks and get away with it because normal players NEED to be part of large groups in order to enjoy the game. And where people who are with the 'best' groups and have the 'best' equipment look down on 'normal people'. You know, those are problems people deal with a lot in games like WoW.
