According to the Perfect Guidebook, (and the fact that Endrance uses the same aura used by Bordeaux and Taihaku and other arena AIDA-PCs), Endrance was using AIDA and Macha together to win his fights. Checkmate.

Alright. Sorry about the spazorific post. This conversation's just been going on way too long. Seriously, it'd be so much easier on me, and I'm assuming you, if you would just state your source to start with. Though you can't blame me: the contents of the Perfect Guidebook are hardly common knowledge.

It could be that the player just doesn't hear it due to it wrecking the dramatic moment of Haseo/Endrance VS Bordeaux, or something. Or maybe at this point, it's so redundant that they stopped doing it since the player got the point. After all, no one said anything when Maxwell (Taihaku's sword) started moving on it's own and then tried to infect Haseo.

Almost agreed, but I don't have enough information to agree with you. As I said, this stuff could have been anywhere. Not ruining the purdyful dramatics of an FMV is one thing, but the makers could have included it in the Community Forums like everything else. I'll wait to see how much they did that in vol. 3 before conceding this argument.

i don't think he was originally gay. he loves mia but haseo destroys her. then haseo was talking about how he needed endrance and haseo replaced mia as endrance's obsession. he would still probably go back to mia in a heartbeat if he could.

Hmm... I never thought about it that way, could you think that might be the reason why Endrance doesn't look upon the memories of Kite and the other's fondly, as Kite did kind of kill Mia once. Though it was by his perseverance that she was brought back. I suppose it still had scarred Elk. But Elk shows at that time he was not so narrow minded to follow just one path. Even turning away from the path that could have brought MIa back without fail, or perhaps he had realized that it was merely an empty promise, after seeing what Morganna had done. It's very ironic though. Morganna trusted Elk, but in the end it was Elk that was pretty much the cause for her downfall. If it weren't for his sacrifice, Kite would have been Drain Hearted right there and then. One of my favorite reasons to see him back. But the way he talks, really makes it seem as if Kite and the other's meant nothing to him. Kind of sad though... I wonder if he perhaps regrets letting Kite destroy Morganna, as it had evetually lead to  Mia's Destruction at tthe hands of Amagi I always thought that was one of the main reasons he was so apathetic towards everyone in G.U.
