My god. You people are stupid, as always.
First off, Unawakened Avatars won't save you, but Awakened ones will. It's that simple.
I have a wild guess maybe they were infected when attacked. and it takes time for it to take effect, maybe in vol 3. Just a wild guess don't have to believe it.
Wrong.
Ok i get that but it just doesnt make sense how people attacked with AIDA (without epitaphs) fall into comas whereas people who are simply infected with AIDA dont. In the case of Bordeaux and Sakaki they are infected heavily with AIDA and yet they do not fall into comas even after Haseo defeats them. Is it because the people are working together with AIDA that they stop themselves from being comatose?
Because getting infected with AIDA and being PKed by an AIDA-PC are two entirely different things.
In terms of AIDA, the difference between being infected and being comatose isn't quite as clear.
Yes, it is. The AIDA need the AIDA-PC's awake so they can use them. They're not stupid.
As far as Shino goes, I can only guess. However, I believe Ovan did this intentionally, for two reasons. The first was that she was sick -- I honestly don't know what she has -- and that putting her into a coma, and thus into the hospital, would be better for her than her spending so much time on an online game, Epitaph User or not. The second factor is Haseo himself. Shino was very precious to Haseo, and Ovan saw an opening in this -- by putting Shino into a coma, and pinning it on something within the confines of the game, this "Tri-Edge," Haseo would likely dedicate himself to helping Shino by tracking down this person. And he did -- Phyllo showing Haseo how weak he was, I believe, was also part of Ovan's plan.
Wrong. Shino was an accident. He didn't mean to attack her, but he couldn't stop himself. The AIDA was acting on it's own. Ovan did take advantage of it later, though.
No, I don't think its about the 'heart' that wants to destroy the enemies that makes the player fall into coma. Its more like the output of the power that the avatar used for the player.
Correct, though output is controlled by emotion.
Or maybe Avatar can't make players into coma . . . Because Ovan has an AIDA, and its possible that because of the AIDA, he unintentionally made Shino into coma . Same goes with Atoli at the moon tree too IMO.
So maybe, the AIDA is the one that made people into coma.
Avatars can cause comas. Why shouldn't they? Their Phase forms could, and they can already knock people unconscious. Furthermore, they possess Data Drain.
Avatar can't make a player into permanent coma (Much like Shino) , but its more likely than a comatose that has its own duration based on its power. Well, if Skeith gone berserk, its more likely that the duration coma will become permanent coma though >_>;
See above.
Of course . . . But it doesn't mean that the avatars could make people coma like AIDA; AIDA's Coma's effect is different than avatar. . . . Well, that's what I think . That's what I meant ^^;
Save the creation of an "AIDA tumor" and the AIDA victims having a telepathic link to AIDA<Tri-Edge>, there really isn't.
Lol, can anyone imagine Shino's Innis ? Maybe the colour of Innis will change to black if Shino still got it >.<
A black and pink version of Atoli's.
If this stuff is never revealed in the game, then where the hell are you people getting these ideas from? is it just speculation? =/ And besides, whoever it was who said that an Epitaph User can fall into a coma if data-drained when they haven't awakend yet is wrong, because Haseo hadn't awakened when he got drained by Azure Kite.

Spoilers of Vol. 2 Below:
Ovan = True ID of Tri-Edge
Yea, he knows. Why did you bother?
God, I f*cking hate assholes who just spill out spoilers without contributing to discussion.
"Hey, is Ovan able to-" "OVAN IS TRI-EDGE!"
