And unless someone hasn't already cleared this up, the Multiweapon class has downsides. I remember that someone told me/I read somewhere that multiweapons should only be able to wield weapons equal to half their level(why this rule doen't apply to haseo I have no idea, probably gameplay purposes

Either way I'd go with Multi-Weapon. Multiweapons are built to be the "jack of all trades, master of none" the character would be a fun challange
Harvest+Brandish
Some n00bish PK goes after the defensless harvest, and to his surprise is owned by a mighty Brandish, also if gives the harvest heavy armor.
Or Danse+Brandish
For clearity, Danse isn't just whacking stuff with a fan! Danse get access to both cleric and warlock magic at a slowed rate, they serve as multiweapon between clerics and warlocks with a little extra meele(they are the red mage of R:2) Having cleric and warlock magic and at the same time while having heavy armor and wielding a huge-ass sword. God character or what?
Or Grappler+flicker
Can you say comboing up and than Rengeki'ing with a fliker skill? Flickers hav a wide reach and AoE, but they attack slow, so it is hard to get Rengeki often. But if you throw in Grappler than you can own one monster to get rengeki and than switch to your Flicker scythe and rengeki for crazy AoE damage. And you would have decent armor, but hey you wouldn't ge hit by physical attacks if you were good.
bottom line?
Brandish>all other 1 point meele classes(why?) Because it is a hard hitting class; dealing lots of damage, also lets you juggle stuff with hold&release, plus it gives you access to heavy armor, and well Broad Legged FTW!(that awesome chainsword haseo uses!)
End of line.
