Fwaa, I came here to try and find the lyrics, or piece them together. x_x What part of the song did you hear that?

I know near the beginning, it sure sounds like it sings 'Into the hazy distance', and after two lines after Haseo-kun gets blasted and knocked to the floor I think they say 'And here you are with me'.

Does anyone else have any more pieces?

i can't believe you guys actually picked up somet of the words, it was VERY hard to make out things. But yea some of it did sound like english. Though i might be hearing things some of it didn't sound japanese or english? Not sure if im just imagining things but yea oh well

I could hear some words, but I really didn't make anything out. At first I thought it was in German!

I'm thinking the lyrics are probably English, but sung by a Japanese singer. That way with the accent but the different words... it makes it hard to make out. Either that, or it's half and half, but .hack has a habit of having English songs, you know?

I heard, or think I heard, the song say, "(something, something,) into the hazey distance", somewhere in the beginning where the Evil Kite appeared before Haseo. I also think I heard the word "eternity" in the beginning as well....or I could be imagining it....

Yeah! I heard eternity as well. :3 Thankies~~ It'd be nice to know the rest of the sentence. If you make it out, tell us, kays?

'Eternity' is heard just ask Haseo starts to turn around in the beginning. And 'Into the hazy distance' is heard just as Tri-Edge begins to appears as the glowing purple ball.

I made a sort-of template of what I do know, gathered from this thread.

New to this forum, and saw great interest into this topic. I have one line I can add that I noticed in the song.
i'll use the template from the second post above mine.

As the moonlight shines,

That line come right as Tri-Edge pushes the energy surrounding him away, right after he makes his appearance. Sorry i couldn't decifer more.

Edit : Hey, the line right before 'Into the hazy distance', at the very end, it kinda sounds like 'slip away'... and it would make alot of sense with the next line. Like, "______ slip away, into the hazy distance..."

Trying to make out the rest of the sentence.

I think some of the stuff you've got there is a huge help, but I'm not sure if all of it is exact... ^^ I'll just highlight the parts I think i'm hearing. It's amazing that you got that much, though~

'And as soon as we slip away'... There are a few too many sylables. But if this is a Japanese woman singing in English... could the grammar have been wrong? Could it be "As soon I slip away"?

EDIT: Still listening to it. I'm also now hearing "As you and I slip away", but "you and I" are blurred so that they're almost one word.

By the way, just to throw it up into the air (though I think it depends on the middle line)

This sounds really good. I think the "hold me now" is a near definate. (Or as close as we're gonna get)

I think this is the closest full section we've gotten yet. I think there are a few minor things, like maybe in the "If I could be here to fight till the end"... it sounds like there is either something different or something more. And I think the second last line is close, but might take a bit of rearranging. And is the word you're looking for 'amends' instead of 'amense'?

What I REALLY like about this one is that it could tie into GU itself. Haseo - titled the Terror of Death. Is he gonna get a bad name because of that? Is he going to try and 'make amends' for what Skeith did and 'fight the pain'? Does he want people to see his memories and learn from other's mistakes?

Get rid of 'Even as we speak', and I think that's what it is. There's one extra line in that chorus, and it sounds like 'And here you are with me together in this place'. Plus, it goes together nicely meaning wise.
