http://www.dothackgu.1up.com"...First and foremost, to clear up any speculation, NAMCO BANDAI Games and Cyber Connect 2 are hard at work to bring .hack®//G.U.® Vol. 2: Reminisce to the North American market this summer! Some may wonder where the title Reminisce came from and after interviewing the localization team, I was able to uncover the truth [note: this is Salvador Aihara speaking in the blog]! The title Reminisce refers to the fact that we should all be thinking hard about our past when going into the future. How can we combat new problems if we do not reflect about how we solved issues in the past?"

According to Namco Bandai's 1up.com blog (which just launched today), .hack//G.U. Vol. 2 //Reminisce is currently slated for a summer release in the United States; a far cry from what most fans were predicting.

Didn't someone bring something up about a change in some voice actors?
That would mean having to redo everything with that character's voice in it, and then actually producing new copies of the game to be released. If they already made a bunch of copies, they'd have to recall them from stores to ensure that all the copies are the same finished product.
So overall, while we're waiting, they're making the game better. Not as good as if you got Gabi as a party member, but still better.
I suggest a raid on your game store to see if they have any old ones in stock. Break out the lockpicks!

Volume 1 came out over here around november. 5 months from November is April, so that's around summer. It's basically the same wait, but hyped up because of the damn cheap cliffhanger ending.Jimbob wrote:Summer! Jesus Christ I'll lose interest by then. What could possibly take so long? They had Vol.1 out within 5 months.

SUMMER?
SUMMER!? That's.........crap............right after I asked my store today that's what they said........and then I just got home and got on and that's what it said.......I'll be damned.
Anyway.......I'm also curious as to the release date of the U.S. trailer for it.......not the Japanese....but the English trailer?
I've been waiting on that for a while too.

No you aren't. That means a whole nother semester I must suffer through, and then even more for Vol.3.
Summer makes no sense though. If screens are out and everything it must almost be done. They had Vol.1 out within about 5 months of it's Jp. release. Why take that much time? I would think the first Volume would take the longest to release like the original series did. Alot of their U.S. customers might lost interest by then.
