But dearest Kite did say he could care less what happened to his character, so long as he saved Orca.

i dont thik kite got band u can see have of kite and and orcas face on page 45 of the last manga so me vote is their still logd in but 7 years is a long time things might have changed

i dont like the nane zombie-kite how about dark kite or chaotic kite

i notice that the new phaces are human well look human anyway my running theory is their players that found fragmenys of the old phaces and used it to become powerful

That's actually a great idea as to how they got those names. I have two other theories.

The first one is where the eight "human phases" are just fans of the Epitaph of Twilight.

The second is that all eight of them are AIDAs and are sort of "reincarnated versions" of the old phases.

I think the phases were, for the most part, ordinary players (a few might be NPCs sent to confuse the MC)..but were somehow bestowed with powers of the phases?

I obviously really like zombie Kite XD!

But he'll never replace the real Kite

They did get banned, it states it in the first volume of the manga(iirc i'll double check though)and plus Kite is an ileegal character, it was CC's job to delete him, as having him in the world, even though he did good, would be going against everything they stood for.

Is it clear that this Kite is not the orignal. As stated, it is a completely new character, and as they said, all characters will be completely new and built from skratch.

I like the name "zombie kite." I personally classifed him as "Zombae Kite" myself.

haha, when I first saw the trailer, the first thought was that Kite was a zombie ^_^

Either way, I think zombie Kite will be the last boss of at least one of the games

Well, Hello all! I'm obviously new here... But like every new person that has come around. I know quite a bit of .Hack... I'm just here to give my thoughts and see how they fit in.

Ok, first off. These Phases... I remember some people on previous pages saying something about it but I can't find the posts.. Soo.. I'll just say this.

I think most people are right how Haseo is just being manpulated. There MUST be somethng special about him, though. Something HE can do that not even these new Phases can do... Maybe he's the ONLY one to run into 'Dark Kite' and still be alive. Kind of like how everyone was chasing after Tsukasa cause he(She, whatever -_-; ) couldn't log out and do all that other stuff.

Also, I'm not sure about the other phases But In my own humble and honest opinion. Ovan is evil. Flat out. He may be MAKING the other phases to REVIVE Morganna and destroy The World for some bezarre reason. When he walks up to Haseo and offers him a hand up saying "Welcome to The World" It's obvious that Ovan isn't just greeting some newb. Ovan knows Haseo was just DD'd. It's kind of like the Matrix... Haseo, being DD'd, may have just been awoken to the truth behind The World. Ovan is simply 'welcoming' him to this new side. (EDIT: I also feel that Haseo will more then Likely fight Ovan as some kind of in game boss)

I also get the feeling he's evil by the smile on his face and just the way he held himself. Like I said before, he's trying to make new phases so he's obviously going to be all 'nice' ... He isn't the first evil dude to fake kindness.

Also, I have some theories about the whole thing with AIDA. I believe that before Haseo met Dark Kite, he was just some anti-hero high level player. He might have PK'd a lot of people here or there. It's kind of obvious when he takes out that large group that he KNOWS what he's doing. But also.. Didn't it look like he was SAVING someone though? See, he's not so bad. He's just the generic indefferent feeling anti-hero.

Then he goes to The sandturary. Meets Kite and gets his ass handed to him... Now Here's what I think about this. When Haseo first started playing The World he MUST have looked the same way he did when he got DD'd (Basic Twin Blade clothes, I mean) so, the flash backs you see of that Hotaru chick (Who also turns out to be the Innus wannabe) may just be the first person he met and befriended in The World. They may have just been exploring some areas, came to the Sanctuary where the chick may have been DD'd by Dark Kite. Haseo must have gotten away somehow. (His savior may also be none other then the Great Balmung. I don't remember if Dark Kite actually DD'd Balmung at the end of the Manga but i do know they fought... SO There's a good chance Balmung was looking for Dark Kite and just so happened to save Haseo)

Anyhow, Along time later, Haseo for some reason goes back to this special place.. And who does he see? The person who DD'd his first friend! So he tries to beat him, seeing as he's soooooo much stronger now (BTW, this may be why he waited so long to go back. He was just trying to get as strong as he could) Unfortunatly, he loses and is DD'd...Going back to his level 1 form.

Now on this note and also somewhat contridicting what I said before... This may be how the Phases are made. Their data is CHANGED by Dark Kite.... Oh wait! I just had a thought as I was writing this! Maybe Data was INSERTED!! Think about it, The Braclet has the Data of ALL 8 phases.. Doesn't it make sense that it can PUT this data into other players? Just like it can take it out? This may be how Ovan is making a new Wave! He may be an uber Hacker like Helba Who's controlling AIDA.. or even MADE AIDA... I mean, the weapon on his arm has to be hacked. It looks like a giant gun.. Thing. It even has a handle coming out from the top that his other hand can hold.

Ok, well that's all my thoughts for now. Sorry it was so long and sorry again if it was hard to understand.. Hope to see what you guys have to say.

I agree with you in thinking that Ovan is evil. Since he revived Haseo, he would probably the first person Haseo would then trust. But that smile, those sunglasses- he's evil I tells ya!

I still also think Atoli is evil. They're probably all evil for that matter. But I stick to my theory that Haseo is in love with Atoli, and for whatever reason she was in the Holyground originally, he goes there to find her/remember stuff and gets DDed.

I also think it makes sense that zombie (dark/evil) Kite might have turned Haseo into Skeith's er..descendent, if you will. But then again...maybe not. It could have been Ovan who did that. I think that would make more sense. Perhaps all of the other phases are actually good, once normal players, but Ovan is the one who manipulates them all?

Or maybe somehow this girl, supposedly Atoli, is Haseo's friend/love interest offline..and she goes into a coma, but he sees her player character in holyground one day, and comes back to see if she's there again?

..okay, now I'm just getting stupid.

I wonder if Haseo gets upset about pretty much going from bad-arseness to n00bness in one Data Drain? I would be.
