I'm A MMORPG player mostly
so with every game online or not
i want to be the highest level i can.
and yeah i thought G.U would be a game like the Final Fantasy series.
But insted
the monsters are weaker and the game is much shorter.
even with the whole 3 volumes.

Next time i play it, i'll try to finish it below lvl40 (and overall...being 3-4 lvls below the mark)
Who is "you"? I certainly didn't feel bad thrashing Alkaid (considering I don't like her) or Endrance in one hit. What pissed me off was the retarded plot device that made Haseo  use his Avatar to beat her when he shouldn't have needed to.

I'm someone that didnt find any fun on not having difficult in such important battles. I mean...i defeated AK in record time! I actually wanted to fight her on Endrance in a way that would truely make Haseo summon his avatar and all (in other words, to REALLY have an interesting a challenging battle)...but like i said...i overestimated this game...and each and every story battle were very easy and short (and boring)

I do number 1 on all RPG's I play. Quite frankly all RPG's are easy to play, the only reason I play them is for the story and characters. If you are looking for a chalenge in a game, go to another genre.

Not to mention i get a certain sense of amusement when I kick the crap out of my arena opponents and still end up "losing".

There are challenging RPGs out there (Megaten series). It's not the genre, it's the game.

There are ALOT of very difficult RPGs. FF4, 6 and 9. And if you want something other than the uberawesome FF series, go look for Valkyrie Profile.

Personally i would love an mmorpg that had combat that was exactly like shinobi. An AMMORPG would be the best thing anyone could ever design.

FF4,6 and 9 are difficult? lol

Valkyrie Profile difficult? lol

But I love those games alot thank you. Especially FF6, which I still believe is the best FF of all time.

I used alot of cussing words while in FF4 and 9 (HOW COME A DAMNED GOAT CALLS METEORS AS STRONG AS OZMA!!!), and i could never finish FF6 XD (Kefka kicked my ass so hard and i lack on good magics). As of Valkyrie Profile 2, it took me ALOT of time to get used and i still think its very difficult. Maybe i just suck at RPGs though, but i still love them x3

But, overall, you have to admit they're incredibly harder than Rebirth.

Agreed, Rebirth is an easy RPG compared to most. Maybe because its too goddamn short.

And here is a little advice with Kefka in FF6. Teach EVERYONE Ultima, then just spam it like hell on the boss fight, finished it in 5 mins :P.

My I suggest a few things to you if you're looking for a challenge in an RPG.

Look for:

1)Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
2)Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
3)Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner (PS2)

Sadly, you'll have a hard time finding the first two, the last one is the most resent game in the series so it should be easier to find. As for Final Fantasy, the only Final Fantasy game I had a real challenge playing was Final Fantasy Tactics (which is my favorite of the entire series). [/off topic]

lol exactly if you don't like easy games then don't play GU. However, again GU's only main point is the storyline

I find it hard to take people who are against cheating seriously when they type in such an idiotic way...

I did strategy 1 only toward the end of the game because I was expecting "Tri-Edge" to kick me in the head a couple times.

I wouldn't say "main" point. I would say "strongest" point. It's a videogame so gameplay, graphics, and story all have thier share of importance.

For me, gameplay is the most important element in every game. RPGs are no exception (even though most people believe they are). While the gameplay of G.U. is easy, it's still enjoyable, which is why I play it. It's just not on my top 10 favorite game list.

I agree with that, but I'm saying majority of the people enjoy GU because of it's story. And the first four .hack games, the gameplay wasn't that good, but people liked the story and continued to buy the next volumes to see what happens next.
