Alot of ppl would go emo when things go bad, but he basically said shes an emo person, which she isn't.

No one ever said anything about her type of music, and she is NOT emo, if you think shes emo then you probably dont know what emo is. Do you know what she thinks of life? And the reason behind her wearing black? its not cause shes emo. Maybe you need to rewatch Roots all over again.

I already did watch it twice, and I do know what emo means.....

I'd have thought the change in outfit was reflective of Haseo. Notice the similarities in color, as opposed to her previous outfit which was a reflection of Ovan.

she's not emo, saying she's emo is like saying haseo's emo.
anyways the producers only changed her costume to look black because they didn't want her looking too similiar to atoli.

Actually im sure you have it backwards Shino most likely had a black dress in orginal design and the white one was probly to make her more like Atoli.

Shino looks like Atoli no matter what color she was in, it's all in her outfit design (plus that damn hat). But ya, her looking like Atoli was somewhat important for the end of vol.1 (and maybe later on?). The black was for her resolve in hoping a lost friend would come back, though honestly I think they should've gone with red or something to show determination.

wearing black makes you emo?then i was emo yesterday and today...she emo if she starts cutting herself and talking about confromist....and listening to music that destroys peoples eardums within a 10 foot raduis yet she seems immune to it.

No, Shino's not "emo". She gets depressed after Ovan disappears because she cared about him; to suddenly have someone you really love leave like that would be hard on anyone.

You guys have to realize that being emo and having a depressive personality are two totally different things.

Emo is a trend. Emo means "depressed", but it also means having a fringe, hanging out with mallgoths, and listening to mainstream "emo" music.

Someone with a depressive personality means being sad a lot, but they can have any hair style they want, hang out with whoever (or being a loner), and can listen to any music they want.
