Keyword Checklist- Volume 1

Hmm... I just realized the info I sent Zer0 last night was absolutely useless... XD I said I would make a keyword list (as in, just the keywords) weeks ago, and then got sick, and then had to catch up, and then holiday stuff, etc. etc. etc.

well, to be honest, I'm an obsessive-compulsive type person, and I think I played through hundreds (and hundreds) of different levels completely, scoring A and S rank.

I didn't take notes on where I got the keywords, because I thought it was random.

I'm also not set up to take screenshots, so unfortunately, I can't offer screenshots of those 3 words you guys seem to be looking for.

For 3rd Word: Evergreen... I also found it by getting an A Rank in Protected Wrath's Berserker.

And 3rd Word: Life Boat, I found getting an S in Roaring Dusk's Weed Eater.

Thank You for checking MournBlade! I also checked them and found nothing. DotHack-Haseo if you still have a file soon after you got the keyword can you check you Warp history and see if any of the listings are for level 15 areas? Or can you post that files warp history so I can check them all?

First let me say that it is great that you will help search Kytona Now to your question. I have only ever found 2 people that have said they have found all 3(.circum//FERENCE from here and anbu_neji of Gamefaqs). .circum/FERENCE is very busy in Collage right now but has offered to help use later. anbu_neji is busy with other things. A few others have claimed to found Dead Wood but so far they have led to nothing.

It may be possible that they could be data from Vol 2 that these people found through a Glitch that I can't duplicate. I myself have had doubts about them being available, so I have been hoping someone would post a location that leads to one of them before I start up my search full blast again. If someone could find one of them it may show me what I have been doing wrong with the others and give me a lead to try. But as of right now I have nothing to go on so I don't search as much as before.

If you want to try to find them be my guest, if you find anything let us know . One bit of advice, don't burn yourself out like I did at 8-10 hours of searching a night

Sorry about the double post but I have a Stupid Update

Of the 5 levels (15,37,41,43,49) that have not given words I just found out what one of them is

15=3rd word Bum

Why this is stupid is you can get the word Bum before you go to the first real dungeon from the soloing topic. Why was this a reward for level 15? Oh well only 4 levels left that haven't given words yet.

Well, I haven't posted in a few days, but I've been looking nonetheless. I've been in contact with Mystere via PM's for the past couple of days keeping him updated with my search status... Sadly, nothing's come up yet, but I do have some new information.

I contacted Namco Bandi via email a few days ago with the question of where to find these keywords, and if they were even unlockable in Vol. 1, or if they were glitched somehow and were able to be unlocked by some werid circumstances - I got no reply. I did however see a Live Support banner when I visited their site, I went into that a few minutes ago only to get this reply here, I logged our entire convo:

John: We have all of them, except for 3 that were confirmed by another person, and no one knows where to find them.

John: Alright, so the only way to find them is to keep looking? You woulden't be able to actually tell me if they are unlocked in volume 1?

So either Customer Support knows nothing, or they just choose not to tell us... Personally, I don't know what to believe - I've had so many issues with customer service lines from various places it's not even funny, chances are some of you have as well.

Aside from that though, I took the time out of looking randomly, to try a theory that was started by Mystere. The fact that perhaps all unlockable keywords would each be given a specific level to unlock them, with one keyword being given out per area level (Examples, level 1, level 2, level 3, etc...). In doing this, I found this out.

If you don't know my theory it is that every area word seems to be only found on 1 level and out of all 1-50 levels only 5 haven’t given a word yet. Those levels are 15,37,41,43,49, if you want the whole list it is on page 2 of the Keyword topic.

It use to be 11 levels that had not given words, but I started a new file and tried to not get any words from topics and narrowed it down to only 5 left. I still need to finish that file and see if I can narrow it down some more. If I could get it down to 3 I think I would know where to search.

Now I've tested those ????? level a lot and found nothing from them yet. more then likely they are words you get other ways. I might be missing something, or maybe some levels have 2 words I don't know, I just thought I would show this to you see if you get any Idea's.

He found 5 specific levels that could be the ones that give these final 3 out (All of those he marked with "???????") - I however, redid the list marking off the area level's of the area's where you can obtain the unlockable keywords. With that, I found that the ones I bolded were the only levels you never obtained an unlockable keyword by getting a good rank... Those, I bolded.

Ok, here's what I got.

I took your theory about the unlockable keywords being part of their own specific level... But I don't follow adding in keywords you obtain by playing through the game using Story, Mail, or Boards to obtain them. You originally said that there was 11 that didn't have words. I took the keyword list and I found those areas:

Levels: 7, 11, 12, 15, 21, 25, 34, 37, 41, 43, and 49.

By using your list, I bolded (See above) the ones that were on my list of ones that didn't actually have keywords. I took all of the unlockable ones you get from random dungeons and copied their final Area Level after putting the Keywords into the Chaos Gate. I found that those 11 didn't have a specific unlockable keyword with them... So, I do believe this is where we have to look, in those areas. I don't think adding in the story ones matter much, I believe that if we look in areas with those levels we will find them eventually, because every single unlockable keyword has it's own specific level... Problem is, in doing so, we are open to many failures because there aren't 50 unlockable keywords - There are 42, with 39 currently found.

Which means... Some of those levels won't work. It's still worth it to look anyway though, I checked a few with S and A ranks with no success yet. I haven't done any Hidden Forbidden as of yet today, but I will soon... I'll go to the ones that have those specific 11 levels, and try to get something there. I think we might have a lead with this, but it's hard to say.

I believe if we look in those area's I listed, we 'may' recieve them... I don't think placing a story based keyword into the unlockable list would change anything.

So I believe looking random at these leveled areas would provide the keywords:

Levels: 7, 11, 12, 15, 21, 25, 34, 37, 41, 43, and 49.

Call it a hunch, but all I've been doing is random while Mystere was focusing on the Hidden Forbidden lead. I think these can only be obtained via Random areas with those levels. Chances are they are in the upper levels of that list... Most of the 3rd Word's that can be unlocked are in the 40's. It might not mean much though, but it's worth a shot.

I am checking too, ( though I *really* shouldn't, not at the moment anyway) and the 34 I already know is twin rocks which you have edited in your main list, so all that you are missing right now is
15, 37, 41, 43, and 49

I keep trying the 41 and 43's on fields ( since I reeaallly dont have time for dungeons right now) and end up with nothing. I am trying to make areas entirely from your current list of unlockables.

You people are incredible. This is the most amazing discovery I have seen made researching GU vol.1

37=???????
41=Freezing 1st word
43=Dawning 1st word
49=Red Plum's 2nd word

I tested 37 with a file that had only read the topics at the start of the game and got nothing. So It is more then likely that 37=A word from the start of the game.

I don't know what to think anymore about the missing 3 keywords If anyone has any of them, anyone of them please post a picture showing it, just to prove they exist.

The best theory I heard about them is maybe they are data from Vol 2 that people may have gotten through a glitch.

Then again they could have some special way to unlock them like failing Trap Chests, or Crashing in to every enemy on a feild, I just don't know right now.

My theory was that every level had only 1 keyword and it seems they do. If you get Heavenly from the noob dungeon (level 3) you wont get a Keyword again for level 3. If you get Aster's by mail at the end of the game then you wont get it or any keyword for level 4. the words may have more then one way to get them but that doesn't change the fact that there are the keyword for a set level. They maybe very easy to get via Mail/Topic ( 15=Bum ) but they are their levels Keyword reward nothing changes that. You can't go to level 1 (Dark Tree) and expet to get Two Wings you have to go to a level 50 to get that.

Alright, so then if you're correct that would mean the keywords aren't specific to any Area Level due to the fact that all of the keywords you found take up just about the entire list of the ones we have left to check.

Oh well, I'll keep looking either way, maybe whoever has the keywords can get ahold of a Digital Camera and screenshot it. I don't think it'd be part of a glitch, I'm just not one to think like that. These are supposedly confirmed, kind of makes me upset that even Namco Bandai coulden't give me any information. They are supposed to be a Game Help line and they can't even provide any information whatsoever.

.circum//FERENCE, if you read this, is it at all possible for you to post a screenshot? I know you stated earlier you aren't set up to do so, but if you have a Digital Camera could you please try to screen it for us? If not, thanks either way.

Ok maybe not a Glitch, but it could be bad programming, if you want proof of bad programming just look a Kuhn’s Skills descriptions Thunder Spark says Plectra bullet and Plectra Bullet says Thunder Spark .

Yeah I rechecked I used my backup again and am playing right now. Im currently going through the lvl 26 areas ill fill u in in a few minutes oh and in response to your question area lvl's 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 43 doesnt give any of those words to you I scored S rank and A rank on all of them and didnt get them but i will kepp you all posted

...I can't imagine why you are not getting the words, unless the problem is that you already have them.

I can account for the validity for area levels 5, 8, 9, 10, 14, 18, 19, 22, 23, 27, 29, 34, 38, 42, 44, 46, 48, and 50 to all be correct.

I'd re-verify his list more but it already seems highly credible and the task of completing it first has taken precedence for me ^^;
Not saying it shouldn't be fully checked though, but a better understanding of why you havn't been getting the words would be resourceful. Extra information about that file and how you went about ranking might be useful.
